Two questions:
One, say my character has gained a mechanical leg as a result of an accident. If I wanted to modify this leg to fire weapons (similar to how puppets have weapons hidden), would I need to post it as a custom "weapon" or custom tech?
And two, I asked this before but forgot: if I want to train my character to give him more Jutsu, can I play both my character and the NPC training him?

I don't think you can play the Npc, crew has to do that.
And I'd say weapon, because that is what you'd use it as.

i think it would better go in tech, since its main purpose would be "leg" not "weapon"

I agree with Hikaro. It wasn't built as a specific weapon, like a sword, spear, whatever. It's built as a crutch with cool doodads.

Six_Paths_God Okay, so if I am literally the only member of my clan and I wanted to learn a guild wide custom jutsu, how should I go about it. Do I need some form of scroll or do I need an NPC to show me? Because Hive mind sounds seriously cool.

You will need to have someone teach you, (Though I don't see how being a clan head and a guild wide jutsu connect) Unless for some reason you are the Head of the clan and the jutsu comes from said clan.

See last time I checked, I was the only aburame in my village, and I don't think there is an NPC that can teach me. As of yet I still have no clan jutsu...

lol you arent literally the only member of your clan, that hurts my feelings. lol, i understand what you mean is in your village, so ill let you live... for now. You need to ask someone to play an npc, or ask your kage for a scroll that holds the techniques.
@Okami he is referring to one of the custom Aburame jutsu that is guild wide.

Aha! I found it! Lance Fulgurant Genin: 25 ...(refer to chart below to see how many jutsu of each level this is.) E Ranked Techniques: 12 D Ranked Techniques: 8 C Ranked Techniques: 5 B Ranked Techniques: 3 A Ranked Techniques: 1 S Ranked Techniques: 0 ...these numbers are based off of the maximum number of jutsu of one rank that a Genin could use if they used nothing but that type of technique. Naturally, if a Genin used a B-rank technique, it would reduce the total number of jutsu he can use for the rest of the day. (If the number at the end looks funny, it should. No Genin would realistically have enough chakra to utilize an S-ranked technique. Saying they could use an A-rank technique is pushing it, so I reduced the numbers for realism.) [Example: A Genin uses a C-rank technique, followed by 2 D-rank techniques. The total cost of those techniques together is 11 points. This leaves the Genin with only 14 more points to spend for the rest of the day.] That is what I remembered. I thought that we could learn jutsu two ranks above us. But I read the crew said that we couldn't. But this says we can. This says we can even learn upper Jounin jutsu { or if we do instate the Special jounin Rank } A Jounin jutsu. Now onto my question. Can this get revised? like that little bit changed so it says we can't use Jutsu two ranks above us? { Sorry if this is annoying, it is just that this little thing was bothering me, and I have nothing better to do. Plus I've been reading through the Rules here for a little while. }

Special jounin is not A rank, Special Jounin is B rank. Jounin is A rank. A Special jounin is a chuunin who has been given jounin status by a Kage due to specific mastery in a particular field. Stop right there Kages, I know what your thinking, and NO. You cannot just randomly make a chuunin into a SJ. They would have to do something fanf-ckingtastic, as well as gain permission from the captain and two vice captains. There will be very few special jounins in this guild. ANd Chuunin members, dont even think of asking your kage, or we will make sure you NEVER recieve the rank, as well as a few other restrictions.

Kumo, that just says you have enough chakra to use that many of each level technique. It's to show exactly how your chakra level relates to the cost of jutsu, nothing to do with what level techs you can learn. Learning =/= using.

I know, i'm not saying Spec Joun is A rank, I'm saying upper Joun is A rank, or if we have the Spec Joun rank, joun Rank jutsu is A rank.

if i wanted a scroll to summon one weapon , (Nagisa's greatsword nothing special except it's a little bit of a pain to carry for a stealth ninja) could i do that without taking up the summon spot?

I'd say yeah, Because the infinite one sword style doesn't take up your summoning slot, and that is a crap load more swords than just a single great sword. Although you'd have to get a Fuinjutsu user to make the scroll, a crew member would probably be happy to Npc the person.
But I'm not crew so I can't decide.
