"I would be greatly honored to assist you humes." He took a long stretch, which sent shivers down his back. He felt every vertebrae extend; he slowly stacked them on top of each other and made he way to Window. The tall, lithe vierra plopped his chin right on top of Window's head and stared back down at the map. He gazed at it, remembering how his previous travelling companions navigated. It was like looking at a grid laid over top the cockpit and coordinates from there. "Rasxa, we need to head towards Olympus, so.... head towards your right and keep heading up. It should look like a large yellow star." Nalo's azure eyes scanned the sky, flicking back and forth, searching the sky for his mark. He pointed to a large, almost aureolin colored dot far out into space. "We'll be there in no time." He said with a smirk.

[-ɮΔɩʇѻ§-] |♫ Lu~lu~lu~ ♪| [-The Zephyr | Cargo Bay-]Most likely suffering from some degree of shock, Baitos continued to lay on top of the unknown gummy ship as he breathed quickly. His eyes focused on the hangar roof as his body began to recover. In the Inuwa's confused state he managed to stand up and stumble onto his legs, only to wobble forward and fall into an open hatch as the ship seemed to have move. "Holy hell!" Baitos managed to yell out before falling yet again onto his back with a audibly satisfying thump.
"Ugh..." The Inuwa groaned and this time didn't move. His body comically twitched as he suffered from the impact. "Why me~" Baitos said to himself and rubbed his now closed eyes out of annoyance. It turned out that the ship was moving, and had taken off to it's next destination. After a few moments to collect himself yet again, The Inuwa got back onto his feet using the help of a nearby crate. His tool belt's now incomplete contents seemed to have managed to become strewn about throughout the cargo bay, their missing companions possibly on the outside of the gummi ship he was in, or falling back towards Traverse Town.
"Lu~lu~lu~" Baitos said to himself as he breathed out in a frustrated manner. The Inuwa began to travel around to gather up his things, and stumbled upon his sheathed Kodama sword, which just happened to still be attached to the tool belt he had picked out that morning.
Lucky me, now I have means to defend myself from those pesky wild falls...sneaking up on me like that. Baitos chuckled to himself as he thought of the personification of his most recent tragedy. Replacing the belt around his waist, Baitos began to look around and explore the cargo bay.

~Rasxa~
Life is an Illusion, Therefore, We all Believe the Same Lie ~ Traverse Town--> Gummi Ship~ Throwing the book aside when he was done with it, Rasxa coolly slid into the pilots chair, the air of a professional about him. "And with that, let us be off. A you will, Rasxa." Window said, already sounding like a captain. That Nalo has a sharp eye for that sort of thing, doesn't he? Window will no doubt make a fine leader. He thought, nodding and working the controls so that the Gummi would move. "Rasxa, we need to head towards Olympus, so... head towards your right and keep heading up. It should look like a large yellow star. We'll be there in no time." Nalo said, the smirk on his face clear in his voice. Nodding, Rasxa aimed the Gummi towards it and plastered on a wild grin. "I have another idea for you all, hold on to something 'cause this is going to be really fast!" He said as he recklessly flew the Gummi towards Olympus. ~That little spark you have, protect it, for if you don't, someone will come and snuff it out~

[*~Youni~*] "...."
[Cafe'>Gummi Hangar>Gummi Ship:Space:On route to Olympus] ....Everything started with nothing.
A choice is made without knowing....
.... the journey begins to find the peices
.... a hand is taken and lead to the future.

It was strange. Before she realized it, everything was already in motion, and for once, the girl didn’t respond right away like she always had to the most obvious of things. She merely blinked when Solaris reacted with the lightning spell. Instead she was staring at Aerith then back to Window periodically.
The recognition of the transfer of guardians perhaps? From out of her hands, her fate was being tied to another and sent adrift into a sea of uncertainty. It should have been frightening, it should have felt exciting, and sad, but all she felt was the space were those feelings were supposed to be. And that empty ache was all she had to work with- But that wasn’t all she had. Something had snatched her motionless hand and was tugging her along towards the hangar. It was warm, firm yet gentle. It belonged to Window whose turned face concealed his expression from her mismatched eyes.
‘It’s warm.’ She thought. 'This force that is pulling this one along- it is warm.’
Suddenly their approach was halted by the stumbling of yet another stranger. This one stumbled into their midst obviously unintentionally. He was dressed all in black, which made his crystalline eyes pop out from his pale face like two stars in the dark. The gold details were so bright against the black they could be burning. As Window introduced their group and Rasxa helped him to his feet, (with an oddly enchanted looking hand she noted) he suddenly just, stared. Their eyes met, and as much as he stared at her with wonderment and disbelief, she returned it with the same distant and indiscernible expression.
Gold and violet blinked their emptiness back at him, with only curiosity to show for it all.
‘…what is wrong?’ she wondered. Even when he introduced himself, as Krad, he chanced a glance to her again. Now she was even more curious, was there something on her face. As if her body responded to her thought, her hand lifted and touched her own cheek inquisitively. His reaction was interesting. If anyone was grateful for coming, this person must be the most. Surely that was the case?
‘…his heart…it’s…’
Inside the hangar, Youni examined the different ships that had come in recently. Youni was familiar with the ones Cid worked on and had the plans for. She would come here often to study the mechanics work like it was a favorite pastime. Countless hours sitting as still as a statue in his shop as he worked the midnight oil and elbow grease. Only when he worked in this fashion did she not plague him with the countless questions she would normally do, but instead watch, watch in stillness absorb the pure raw creative and enthusiastic energy this man contained.
‘[Flashback] “Cid?” He was staring at her and she hadn’t realized. He was looking between her and the hull of the ship as it rested on the platform. He shook his head, “Just a feelin.” He sighed and stood up stretching his sore muscles. “One of these days …one day…in one of those… I just know it, in my gut.” “Your innards know the future?” He laughed of course at that and scratched the back of his head staring into space. “ It will take you far away. Far from here.” “Why?” Cid never answered, he wasn’t about to stir up another storm of questions, just went into the next room for a cup of coffee.’
Youni turned and caught that glance from Cid after Aerith kissed him. That look, it was important.
It was true. Did Cid’s gut have such prophetic powers- or was it the whole man himself? She never thought Cid was a man of magic, but perhaps one didn’t need to be like Merlin the wizard to know such things at times. The Highwind Gummi, she knew this ship well. She remembered reading the plans for it. It was a small but all around balanced ship, especially for beginner flyers.
When people started to board, she walked over to Cid. “We will be taking your ship. You worked hard on it Cid. Thank you.” She wondered; will he miss it? He worked so hard on it, all his work was his pleasure as well. Leon once explained it to her, as did Aerith. When someone loves their work, it shows, and it always came out the best. The Highwind was a testament to his nature.
And then… …she left. Cue: Xions Theme
Boarding last, the girl looked over her shoulder. As the door closed behind her sealing her inside the ship, time seemed to slow down to the second. Her mind, determined in it’s purpose knew it was important to remember this moment, and burned the last sight she could catch of Cid and Aeriths faces before they were blocked by reinforced steel and space circuitry. What was that look on their faces? Coming further inside, she took a sseat as Window gave Rasxa the order to begin flight. She looked out of the window and as they took off into space, she opened the envelope. There was the card and the picture that was taken. They were all smiling around her, with balloons and confetti in the background. Youni staring at the camera with a version of her own surprised and curious look on her face as she was about to say ‘ what is that?’ just as the picture was taken. It wasn’t a smile, but it was something special that was captured. It was back when both her eyes were gold.
???!
What was this… it was warm. It wasn’t in her hand like when Window held it. It was in her face.
As she read the little notes left by everyone.
‘Awww, you’re all grown up now, well sorta. Anyways! When it happens- you’re first smile, remember it for me ok?! Draw what it looks like if you remember! It’ll be extra special! I'm looking forward to know what your sense of humor will be like. “The kind of humor I like is the thing that makes me laugh for five seconds and think for ten minutes. Humor is reason gone mad! Laughter saves people you know? If you cna laugh, irritation and resentment all go away, and the sun rises. So Cya little birdy. Now fly away!”- *hugs* Yuffie
‘Don’t let your ignorance bring fear, embrace it as a reason to fill yourself with as many answers as you can hold. Life itself is a lesson, and Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere. You were a wonderful pupil Youni. ’- Merlin
‘Stay sharp, don’t hesitate, and keep your head up. Act, don’t react, and think before you do. As you start to come together things will become a bit messed up, so listen up. Don't be afraid of failure. Courage isn't always loud, sometimes it's small. It tries again again until something works. Courage resists fear and masters it, it's not the absence of it. You have courage. It's the power to let go fo the familiar. So go Youni. You owe us that much to find yourself, and finish what started the day Aerith found you.".’ – Leon
‘ Try not to crash the ship the first day. It’s going to be so quiet without you to bother me. Don’t let anyone push ya around just cause you’re new at this kid. Stick up for yourself. Stay close to your friends and they'll do the same. You'll figure out who's your friend soon enough..they'll have certain feelin to them. They wont be like everyone else. Use your eyes, you'll see what I mean..’- Cid
‘Youni. The feeling you’re having is sadness.-‘
Is that what it is? It feels warm. It’s making reading difficult for some reason.
‘-Don't worry. It’s you’re first time so it’s ok if it doesn’t make sense right now. Life is full of sad times, but it’s also filled with happy times. You need to understand them both in order to be whole. Parting is never easy, not even for you. I will miss you very much. Everyone will. Every moment was is precious, and now you will make more precious memories, and one day I know…you’ll be whole someday. I will look forward to seeing you’re true smile and hearing your laughter one day. Until then, as these pieces of you begin to pile up, you'll feel many different things, and you must embrace them all. Stay close to the light inside your heart. If you ever feel unsure of where you should be, you need only follow your heart to find us all again.’ – Sincerely with love, Aerith.
“Aerith?” The letters were obscuring behind something misty, and her cheeks felt hot. That ache inside was suddenly stronger, and as she refolded the card with the picture, Youni turned her foggy gaze to the now distant light.

~.~Dark~.~ ””…fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. The one who has inflicted the injury must suffer the same injury.” ” [Gummi Ship ~.~ Lanes Between]Rasxa's words weren't exactly comforting... In fact, the excitement Krad had was now gone. His wonderment was replaced with worry and his smile with a frown. Electing Rasxa as the pilot did not help ease the man's anxiety one bit. However, he did find it interesting how the crew seemed to unanimously elected Window as the their leader. Befriending Window would be in Krad's best interest. Though gaining Window's favor should be his priority, he found it difficult to advert his eyes from the young girl, Youni, who sat beside a window, shuffling through notes and pictures as her face seemed to flush. Based on her actions, the redness in her face, her misty eyes, and the way she looked out the window, the darkly clad man figured the items in her hands must've been from the people she left behind on Traverse Town. "I know that face well...," Krad said, referring to Youni's behavior as she read her notes and stared out the window. "You'll see them again," he continued, leaning towards the girl while remaining in his seat. "The people you're thinking about right now, you'll see them again." He smiled warmly at the girl, hoping his words would be comforting. "I'll make sure of it."((EDIT: So, like.. i just realized I posted without completing the last sentence to my first paragraph... ...yeah... hope that makes more sense. o.o))

[ Narration : Traversing the Stars ] The groups inevitably went their separate ways, each starting on their own adventure.
The first travelers, lead by Princess Suzuran and Prince Kuumaru, made their way to Wonderland as directed by Soryuju. They didn't need to land, however, to see the devastation that had occurred. From orbit, dark clouds could be seen covering large portions of the world, and what places were visible from above looked ruined. The Darkness had made its way here, but against all odds, it had not found the heart of the world. Hoping to aid what survivors their were, the group touched down, leaving Kuumaru, Nomaa, and Alerua behind in case they needed an emergency evac.
What they didn't realize was how much activity would soon surround this forsaken world of Wonderland. Other groups were making their way there, and among them, the Conclave of Ruination...
A second group of travelers, composed of Window and his companions, still drifted through the cosmos, searching for their destination. Who or what else would be traversing these Lanes Between...?

{Ignorance is bliss... until reality throws a Heartless siege at you.}
[Wonderland : The Chamber of Descent]
Soryuju was one of the first to land on the ground of the strange, enchanted circular room. It had seemed endless; he remembered appearing at the top, and the bottom being what seemed miles away. The fall had been slow, as if guided by magic, and it had allowed him to look upon the ruined walls around him. Pictures torn to shreds, tapestries in ruins, burn marks on the wall...
Soryuju was calm and focused, but the look on his face spoke volumes of the frustration he felt. Another world, falling to Darkness. Another world he might be able to save, if he had the strength.
He turned around, looking at those that had followed him; they must have landed by now, they were not so far behind him. He briefly wondered how they would get back up, but remembered that Suzuran's expensive ship had a teleportation feature for entering and exiting an undeveloped world without causing a scene.
"Guards up," he warned, though it was meaningless; they all knew what this meant. He already had his spear unlatched and held at his side. "It's worse than we thought."

[Kellan Feredir]
{...} [Wonderland: Chamber of Descent] Kellan landed on the ground with numerous knives already between his fingers, the blades gleaming off whatever light touched them. He saw the devastation from the ship. It wasn't exactly screaming 'Hey, we're totally peaceful, a-hyuck!' And the bounty hunter knew it was always better to be safe than sorry, his mood even, calm, slightly cautious, but his hair and eyes remained his 'normal' brown. One could only wonder what one could find in the ruins of Wonderland....

{A heart shed for power is the only heart of worth.}
[Wonderland : The Bizarre Ruins] A Corridor of Darkness opened within the ruins of the Bizarre Room, once a small place where gravity and size changed more often than the weather. Now, however, things had been warped by the Darkness (among... other things). The area had been completely cleaned out, rubble from what used to be there shoved off to the side. The walls, the fireplace, the entire room was now something else entirely- it was now a large hall, a chamber of chaos.
The space seemed much larger now, with torches of white energy lighting the widened walls. The chamber was much longer than it was wide. The walls were a mixture of black, silver, and purple. The floor was set in two tiers; the floor had been fractured by a quake, it seemed. The portion with the talking doorknob had been lifted up roughly a full story above the rest of the hall's floor, much like a stage overlooking an audience. Littering the walls were small balconies, each with their own entrance; they were large enough for a small number of people, and weren't higher than the main stage. The floors of the entire hall were checkered black and white, and at the opposite end of the hall there was a plain opening. This opening, however, did not lead back to the Chamber of Descent, as it had before; there was no telling what would finally give entrance to this new Bizarre Hall.
The first to step out was Vereor Ryutetsin, his dark purple garb fitting in amongst the shadow-chasm almost as well as black would have. He looked like cloaked royalty himself. Strolling forward, Vereor glanced upon the ruined area before turning to face the doorknob; Kyozuto had not yet arrived. Finally, he turned back to the portal, wondering who would be the first to follow him through; he'd left it open for all those in Castle Oblivion to traverse.[[ IN CASE YOU DIDN'T CATCH IT: The main entrance to Wonderland NO LONGER leads to the Bizarre Room. I don't really care where it leads now, it can be the forest, the Queen's Court, whatever you want, since Wonderland has been altered by the Dark assault and the missing Princess. But this will be the final chamber of Wonderland.]]

[Moggie : Wonderland : Chamber of Decent]
Moggie was more than ready for action when the arrived at Wonderland. She was never one for traveling in tight spaces. A Gummi didn't exactly have a lot of room for moving around. It didn't help that there was a lot of bodies being carried by the said ship. On top of the darkness she could feel from the world as the drew closer was enough to give the moogle goosebumps.
When they got to Wonderland, Moggie followed after the others who left to investigate, despite her gut turning so much that it caused her fur to fluff out. She already had her staff ready for use before Soryuju said anything.
"Kupo," Moggie said from where she stood by Kellan's leg, "I don't like this. This place is just dripping with darkness. I am sure this was gone over before, but someone refresh my memory, why this place was chosen as our destination of choice, kupo?"

Nalo's lit up a little as they started to encroach Olympus. "Well Window, as much as I know that we'd all love to stop and explore, we should press on to find you a way. Onward Rasxa!" Nalo glanced down at the map and back to the cockpit's window. Up and to the right a little bit. You should see a faint orange star in a few minutes. Nalo put the map back down started to pace around the cockpit. Dark had commented about something; Nalo looked back to Dark, his smile removed. She looked like she was crying. It was odd, she showed little expression at all, but she her body was obviously reacting to something. With a single bound, he was there on a knee. "Are you okay, child? Do not worry, Youni, for your heart is bound forever to those you love. No matter the distance, you can feel them out. You keep Aerith and Merlin in your memories, and you'll never be a day without them."

Shade wasted no time following after the leader into the portal that lead to Wonderland. The ninja's eyes scanned the new environment carefully as her wolf followed and took its place by Shade's side. Despite the ninja's better judgment, she followed them to this strange world. The better part of her however knew if she wanted to know more about them, would be best to follow whatever orders were given.

[*~Youni~*] "...."
[Gummi Ship:Space:On route to Olympus] ....Everything started with nothing. … on the journey to the first peice A heart begins it’s first murmurs. ...it’s first cry of life inside the shell.
((Just so you know, she’s not sobbing, or bawling, or sniffling either, the most you can see is watery eyes a few tears, but the rest of her expression is perfectly neutral ok? She doesn’t actually have a working heart at the moment but it’s slowly showing signs of expression. She doesn’t even articulate what’s going on right now with her body.)) Youni couldn’t understand this odd sensation happening in her eyes. They were filling up with this odd mist that was obscuring her vision. It was quite a hindrance actually, she couldn’t see the screen of the ship or the sky beyond the window, and everyone’s figure was a blurred haze, like trying to look through a tank of water. Most of all though, she couldn’t ignore this strange- echo? It was hard to articulate this feeling. The sensation of its absence was quite apparent, and the clarity of its absence created this resonating empty echo that shook her from within. Like sound bouncing around the wide confinements of an empty cave. Yes, the first drop of many had plummeted into that wide expanse which was her heart, and its impact created a rippling echo that grew in volume equal to that of the emptiness within. Declaring the reality of the situation aloud for her to see and feel. You are feeling the absence of a feeling most precious. It’s absence is even more painful, for its existence is required to cleanse. At this rate, all you can do is echo back the need until the whole returns and fills up the hole. "I know that face well...," ???! That man Krad, he was addressing her. She was sure of it, judging by the dark blur which was leaning a little closer to her direction. What did he mean? Did he know what this ‘Sadness’ that Aerith described was?"You'll see them again," Really? Would she really see them all again? Why did that feel important to her? "The people you're thinking about right now, you'll see them again." Somehow, those words made the echo a little less loud inside. It ebbed just a little. The pressure dissipating from concave of her heart. Something warm and wet slipped from the rim of her eye. It tricked down her cheek and suddenly she could see him well enough to make out his smiling face as it was directed towards her."I'll make sure of it." Could he really? Could he take her back there someday? She was curious as to how he would fulfill this claim. Would he do it now, tomorrow, or much later? Suddenly a much closer figure was beside her. Another wet droplet escaped her eyes as she fixed her gaze on Nalo. The “ bunny-human”, or as Merlin clarified, a Veena Viera. She met his blue eyes with her misty mismatched ones which so far let two tears slip down on either side of her face. Aside from her eyes, her expression was neutral as it has always been. Had her eyes not give voice to what was going on inside the girl, there would’ve been no other visible change in her. Which him crouched she could look at him at eye level. “Nalo?”"Are you okay, child? Do not worry, Youni, for your heart is bound forever to those you love. No matter the distance, you can feel them out. You keep Aerith and Merlin in your memories, and you'll never be a day without them." She found his words interesting, they were very reminiscent of what Aerith said in her note. “My heart is bound? I can feel them? How? How can one person be in two places at the same time? Youni does not understand- how do memories fixate a person’s location in traverse with another individual?” She felt another wet thing fall from her face and now she could see Nalo’s face much clearer. His eye creased with concern, his ears tilted slightly in each direction, the silver bracers glinting in the light of the cockpit. His hair seemed to glow in this lighting. Slowly she reached up to her own face and wiped the strange wet substance onto her thumb, looking curiously as it evaporated on her finger. “…what are these? Is Youni leaking? Is there something wrong with Youni's eyes?”

~.~Thales~.~ ”You can bend it and twist it… You can misuse and abuse it… But even the gods cannot change the Truth.” [Wonderland ~.~ Chamber of Decent]It were times like these Thales was glad he decided to wear pants beneath his toga... The teen had plenty of time during their slow decent to look upon the walls damaged by the darkness that had invaded the world. As soon as he landed, he unsheathed his bo staff, which immediately expanded in his hands. He stepped forward , closer to Soryuju, prepared to walk further into the rabbit hole. ~.~Dark~.~ ””…fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. The one who has inflicted the injury must suffer the same injury.” ” [Gummi Ship ~.~ Lanes Between]((I'm sorry if I made it seem like Youni was sobbing or bawling, Enji. It wasn't my intension. I was going off of the tell-tale signs you mentioned in your post, like the reddening cheeks, misty eyes, and looking out the window.)) Krad's attention was adverted from Youni to Nalo as he literally hopped in and kneeled between the two. His words were very optimistic and caring and seemed to have gotten a response out of the girl. “…what are these? Is Youni leaking? Is there something wrong with Youni's eyes?”Krad closed his eyes and chuckled as he turned away from the two. "Has she never cried before...?" the man thought. He opened his eyes and stared at the floor at nothing particular. The sounds around him began to fade away with his smile as he began to get lost in his own thoughts once again... "Daddy! Daddy!" a girl cried out, tears trickling down her face as she hugged her injured knee to her chest. Krad could be seen rushing out of what could only be presumed to be his house and onto the streets of Agrabah where the young girl bawled from the pain. "What's the matter, sweetie?" Krad asked as he crouched beside his daughter, gently moving her hand away from her knee and examining her injury. "I-I-I fell and hur-hurt my knee-ee!" the girl managed to saw through her tears. "Aw... It doesn't look that bad. Just a little scratch." Krad pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket and blew on the wound before cleaning it up. "There," he said, kissing his daughter's knee, then wiping away some of her tears with his fingers. "All better." The girl stopped crying and giggled, hugging her father. "T-T-Thank you, daddy," she said, pulling away. All Krad did was smile, then picked up his daughter and carried her towards their house. "Daddy...?" "Yes, dear?" "Why do people cry?" "Well...," Krad began, unsure about how to answer his daughter's question. "I'm not sure, actually. I guess to communicate with others about how they feel. Some people cry when they're hurt, when they're sad, or even when they're happy." "What's 'c...comuniniticate?'" "Communicate. It's a word that means sharing ideas or talking with someone." "So people cry to other people how they feel?" "Pretty much," Krad said, laughing. "That was the only way your mother and I knew something was wrong with you when you were a baby." "So when I cried, you knew I was hurt?" "That's right."Krad opened his eyes again, smiling once more. "No, you're not leaking...," he finally said, chuckling. "And nothing is wrong with your eyes either. You're just sad."

Kuropo Guroko
{Jude me not by my size; For I am much more than meets the eyes.}
[Kuropo : Wonderland : Chamber of Descent]
Kuropo had gone silent and seemed to be chilled as he looked down upon Wonderland from within the Gummi ship. Even from the Lanes Between, he could clearly see the dark clouds that loomed over the world, covering the great majority of it. It was all too clear to the Tarutaru, that darkness had indeed made it's way to this world. He could tell that Wonderland's end was nigh. That fact became even more clear as the scholar descended down to the world and surveyed the destroyed hall. Everything that had once been within it, ruined and shoved to the side. Burn marks scorched the walls, tapestries were tattered and ruined and pictures ripped to shreds everywhere.
Kuropo's staff had never left his hands to begin with, and now it certainly wasn't as it was raised in a position that seemed prepared for anything. He was focused. However, deep concern was evident in his voice as he spoke.
"Oh dear, this looks quite bad. Darkness has definitely taken it's hold... just a tad," he said quietly, his words shaking slightly as he tried to fight off a chill going down his spine.
It was pretty evident now, that the Tarutaru had not known what to expect when he had joined up with this group. However, he had no choice now, he wasn't about to turn back. He still thought that these people were his only chance of getting back his home, his beloved Vana'diel.
