her light powers make my dark powers stronger and vise-versa.
And my colors are more of Black and Blue with other colors mixed in.
Go for the curtain if you want, although a folding dividing wall would work better, that way it doesn't move easily, and it can be removed if needed.
And this AVI is what Sigfried looks like right now.

|so it'll end up split down the middle...though it's odd to view light and dark as complimentary/constructive interference...most use them as canceling.|
(without the curtain....as in one half of the room black/blue while the other half down a perfect split is bright...)??

that was what i was thinking...like in some classrooms....a wall that can be removed...makes a zigzag pattern....sorry...bad word choice. i was going to go with a glazed translucent so shadows can be seen through...not the thick, grainy, opaque weave you usually see....but it was still going to be very sturdy...unless you want an opaque wall...

If one is stronger than the other than yes, they will cancel each other out. But if they are close enough to being equal, than they can also add to the other power.

Light makes the shadows deeper, making the light brighter.

i know....but most people don't think like that. the way i thought of it at first could never physically happen, they are not colors...they do not just mix.

That's pretty much what I mean, one of those walls that folds up flat (almost) and when open makes a bit of a zigzag pattern. The materials can be a heavy cloth-like material, allowing some light to pass but you can't actually see though it.

except i was going to have it fold into the wall so it can appear completely gone. i was also going to have two shelves...with backs. to maintain a symmetry that allows for such a wall.should do a yin yang motif across the room....but that would be a little much....possibly a little out of mood.

i love how in room 16 malix comments on how he believes all the other rooms are like that too, so we keep them all the same....and yet i don't think any two rooms are alike.

In the book I'm writing Light and Dark powers can cancel each other out or make each other stronger. But someone with both powers has a chance of either never being able to use one because the other one stops it, or they both work together and create a highly destructive shock wave that cause mass destruction.

Bad thing is it can also happen while the powers are stored inside the body, meaning your own powers might kill you.

But that's from my own writings though.

Here's what I've got so far.

When you first enter the room there is a folding dividing wall pulled halveway out. On each side of the room there is a Bed, desk, shelf and a small dresser.

The beds are currently set against the walls just past doorways that lead to small bathrooms and walk-in closets. The desk and shelves are back to back in the middle of the room on each side of the dividing wall, and the dressers are against the far walls.
The room is old and dusty, it looks like the room was once painted tan, but it has faded away to Grey.

Legend's Adam is too strong. My character Alexandria can't control her powers and blacks out when she uses them. When released they create a shock wave that shatters ever glass object in a two hundred foot radius and leaves a crater behind. Other than this shock wave that works as a sub-conscious self-defense she has no other powers.

wait that's cool...the each door leads to both a closet AND a bathroom! razz sorry i'm tired.

yeah a lot of characters are really powerful. mine are too, so i okeyed with malix because i was unsure. honestly the dimension guy gives me an opportunity to write lots of long, painfull to read but fun to write, settings...he also can only control his powers because he locked their true potential away...but if he takes the time to set his powers beforehand he has a large verity of possible uses....the teacher has start creating sound for a good minute before anything happens....any pyro/cryomancer could blind Susan...and she can't actually use her powers to fight on her own...

oh, and raz can steal a power...just poof. and she's roomed with dimension guy....things are going to be really bad when those two meet...

The closet in the bathroom idea is something I've always liked. That way if you forget some of your clothes they're all right there in a second room. Also the closets can only be accessed from the bathrooms. They are completely private.

Sigfried has strong powers, but I only listed the average ones. As you can tell most of his are defensive. His offensive powers are just altered and focused energy.
