After a couple of hits, the Stone had had enough and detached itself from the Queen. She gave a horrid scream before collapsing on the ground. Her magic evaporated and the doors burst wide open, letting the water out. The Stone itself hovered in the air for a few moments before zooming straight at Sokras' barrier and disappearing inside.
Aegyl looked alarmed. "Oh no, Sokras!"
Kujo noticed the growing water rate. "We have to get to higher ground! We'll dorwn if we stay here at the source!"

Austin's heart thumped wildly as he dropped his weapon and ran to Sokras. He tried to break through the barrier to get to him.

Aegyl ran over to Austin. "Leave him, he'll be fine! The barrier lets water out, not in! Come on!!!"
Kujo was strapping the Queen's body to one of the horses.
The princess was keeping the other horses from running away. "Hey, where are the other too!?"

Austin nodded, reluctant to move. ustin looked around but didn't ee any horses. "I don't know.."

Kujo then looked around. "Over there! They're headding for higher land. Like we should be!?" He said pointedly.
Aegyl nodded. "Austin, we have to go now! That water is only ging to rise!"
The princess gasped as the horses broke away from her. "Well, there goes our ride!"

"B-but.." Austin started, then moved to higher land, looking back as the temple.

The princess heaved, tired, hairs sticking out. "E-everyone...okay?"
Kujo nodded. "Yeah, we made it in time."
Aegyl said nothing as she looked over at Austin. "... ..."
The temple was completely swallowed by the lake water. There was no sign of Sokras, but the glow of the barrier could still be seen.

Austin was breathing heavily as he was half tempted to go back down to get Sokras.

Once the later was refilled, the glow of the barrier disappeared.
Aegyl put a hand over her mouth. "A-Austin..."
Kujo shook his head. "...I...better return the Queen to the castle."
The princess said nothing.

No! Sokras!" Austin screamed as he jumped in the water. "I-I'll save you!"

Aegyl was about to jump in as well but then she sensed something. "W-Wait a minute! Austin, come back!"
Kujo sensed it as well. "Huh..."
The princess smirked, seeing Kujo's face. "Feeling relieved, dear?"
The barrier glow reappeared on the shore near where they were at. Then it disappeared, leaving Sokras behind. He appeared to have been in a chanting trance sitting on his knees and his hands creating a symbol.

Austin turned around and saw Sokras. He quickly swan to shore and dropped t his knees in front of the other, not knoing if he should hug him or not.

Sokras sighed as he opened his eyes, as if waking from a deep sleep. "Whew...that was cutting it a bit close."
Aegyl acted without hesitating. "Sokras!!!" She hugged him.
"Uwah!!!" He fell over. "A-Aegyl, get off..."
Kujo huffed and started walking the horse and the Queen back.
The princess smiled.

Austi started to cry as Aegyl let go and austin hugged him next. "I thought I'd lost you."
