Saiya glared at him. "It's not the same." She hissed at him as tears burned her eyes. "I don't want you to leave without me. Can't you ask someone else to go?"

"Shhh... Don't cry." he whispered, moving to wipe the tears from her eyes. "You know I wouldn't let anything keep us apart for long." Kai stated seriously, leaning his forehead against hers. "I can't, I'm pulled to you like gravity."

Saiya tightened her grip on him again. She knew it was playing dirty but she couldn't stand the thought of loosing him, not after everything they had gone through already. "Please." Her tone bordered on begging. "Don't go."

Saiya leaned up just enough to brush her lips against his. "I never will when it comes to this subject." She warned him honestly. If he were going to leave her he, she would make it the hardest thing possible for him.

"Its already harder then you will ever know just sit back and be powerless to protect you." he muttered quietly, laying his head on her chest as he wrapped his arms around her. "But I refuse to put you into any more." Kai added in a whisper.

Saiya ran her fingers soothingly through his hair, content to be his pillow. "But don't you see? You have protected me. You've saved from something no one else could have." She kept her voice low as she spoke. "You saved me from myself Kai. The things that were drilled into me about my powers, my inability to control them. I was ready to die trying to get that information to the council, but her saved me." Including her sanity, who knows how much longer that would have lasted with her visions and sleepwalking.

Kai moved so that he could look up at her from where his head lay. "Then maybe we've both saved each other." he answered, kissing her neck.

"Either way we protect eachother, just as a relationship is supposed to work." Saiya pointed out with a smile as she continued to run her fingers through his hair gently.

Saiya returned the hug. "Now promise you won't go anywhere so you're preggers lover can get some sleep." She sighed as she yawned.
