Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Kairi took another deep breath, and tried to continue. But before she could Sora pulled his hand away and grabbed her shoulder, asking if she was okay. The fireworks had ended, but the crimsonette was barely aware of that. The brunette helped her up, and suggested taking her home, saying she didn't looked so good. Of course she didn't look so good, she had just screwed up horribly. Exactly what Kairi feared might happen, happened. Her newly found confidence was now shattered. The brunette bid the others farewell, and a dazed Kairi silently waved good-bye. The Princess followed Sora as he lead the way to her house. Neither of them spoke, and Kairi looked at her feet as she walked. When they reached the red head's home Sora told her good-bye, and that he had had a great time. Kairi tried her best to smile, but it felt so awkward between them. She told the Keyblade Master she had had a great time too then bid him goodbye. The crimsonette opened the front door and went in. She said a quick hello to her parents and told them she'd skip dinner, saying she wasn't hungry. She ran upstairs, brushed her teeth, changed into her pajamas, then crawled into bed where she laid for hours feeling sick to her stomach. As Kairi laid in the darkness she couldn't stop the hot tears of sadness, frustration, and regret from falling. She had ruined everything. Sora had seemed so awkward and uncomfortable. The Princess cried herself to sleep wishing she could take back her actions, and that she and Sora could just be best friends like they always had been. It was back to school for Kairi and her friends, and Kairi wasn't too thrilled. But she tried her best to grin and bear it. And she found her self doing that a lot around Sora. Many school days had passed since that night, but things were still awkward between the Princess and the Keybearer. The crimsonette fell into a depression, and she hated and herself for screwing things up between the two of them. She tried not to let it show though of course. She tried her best to smile and be her usual self, but found that very difficult at times especially around Sora. The red head hoped that today, unlike others, would be good. It was Friday, October 31, Halloween. She and her friends were sitting at the lunch table when Lakayna brought up the subject of Halloween. She said that they should do something really great for Halloween and asked if anyone had any ideas. "Ooh yeah that's a good idea Lakayna," Kairi smiled, "We should do something great for Halloween. I wouldn't know what though." The crimsonette wished she had been more helpful. Maybe they could go to a haunted house or something. Kairi immediately scratched that from her mind. That would just make her think of Sora, and about how much fun they had together before she gone and opened her stupid mouth. Blink then suggested they go some place, and the Keyblade Master thought of just the place. Halloween Town. The Princess remembered Sora telling her all about it. It sounded like a very fun and spooky place. Kairi managed to look at the brunette and smile "Great thinking Sora! That's perfect!"We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora smiled as first Blink told him it was a good idea, followed by Riku agreeing with him. Then Ari questioned him and he raised a brow at her. "I'm serious, Ari," he told her. "Jack has a ghost dog named Zero. I'll bet he loves you." He chuckled lightly at his sister before hearing Kairi's comment. When he did, he didn't think of it as anything and looked at her with a grin. Then when they made eye-contact, he somewhat froze up and he could feel the blood rushing to his face. He finished laughing sheepishly and cleared his throat before attempting to speak. "You think? Th-Thanks, Kairi," he managed feebly.
The brunette had to force himself to look away from the crimsonette before his feelings for her too plainly showed themselves. He glanced around the table, allowing his face to cool off before speaking. "So, after school you wanna go? It shouldn't take to long to get there," he explained. He wasn't sure if they'd use the Gummi Ship or a Corridor of Darkness provided by Riku or one of the others. Either way, it'd be easy to get there. He was eager to see what his friends would look like in Halloween Town, as he knew their appearances would change drastically in the spooky world. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Sora managed to give Kairi a weak thanks, but that was it. The crimsonette continued to smile and said "You're welcome," then looked away from the others and let the smile disappear. She knew she shouldn't have expected the brunette to say more. He never said a lot to her anymore. For Kairi, loved sucked at the moment. The red head looked across the table and her eyes fell on Roxas. That's right. Kairi remembered she wasn't the only one having trouble. The Princess was sure that Sora's Nobody wasn't happy about Naminé and Riku dating. Maybe Kairi could use their sad love failures to start hanging out with Roxas more, get to know him better then she did already. And maybe that way she could learn something about Sora in the process. While Kairi thought about all this she heard the Keybearer ask everyone if they wanted to go after school explaining it wouldn't take long to get there. He was was right. With Axel, Naminé, Roxas, or all their other friends who could make Corridors of Darkness they'd be there in seconds. The crimsonette began thinking of Halloween Town. Sora had told her that his appearance had changed while there, and she was sure hers would as well. She wondered what she'd look like. The Princess was also excited to meet Jack's ghost dog, Zero. She had fun meeting Mulan's dog Little Brother, so even if Zero was a ghost Kairi was sure he was just as cute. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Lakayna assured them that she knew of a place to watch the fireworks and then she began to lead the group. Riku took her hand and she smiled up at the silvernette, feeling herself slowly relaxing. She knew Riku was there for her, just like she was there for him and that they'd get through this together. The group headed up the hill and just as they made it to the top, the first fireworks burst into the air. They all sat down and Riku put his arm around her. Naminé leaned into him, letting all her worries dissapear as she looked up at the brilliant flashes of light going off in the night sky. Naminé heard Sora whisper that it was days like this that he wished would never end, and Riku agreed. The petite blonde lowered her eyes and looked up at her boyfriend. He leaned in and kissed her, and her eyes closed. She could tell she was blushing but she didn't care. After a few moments though, she heard someone clearing their throat loudly. Reluctantly, she broke the kiss with Riku, blushind deeply. Her eyes opened and she looked over at Roxas who was sitting beside her and glaring at Riku. Why... why was he looking at Riku like that? For a normally perceptive person, Naminé could be quite oblivious when it came to certain things. However, she could tell Roxas seemed a bit angry. Reaching out with a hand, she took one of her best friend's in hers. To her, the action was simply friendly and to make him feel better. It wasn't the same as when Riku held her hand, causing her to feel all fluttery. The show ended and everyone stood up, and said goodbye, going off in different directions.
The days following passed by quikly and uneventfully. Naminé was constantly busy with creating memories of Hikari and making sure Sora's memories weren't slipping away. Often she came to school tired but that was less and less frequently now because she was close to being finished. Today was Halloween, so she wasn't planning on working, in case the group was going to go out and do something. The group was sitting at their usual table during lunch and Naminé was sitting in the middle of Riku and Roxas. Lakayna aksed if anyone had any ideas and Naminé instantly turned her eyes to Sora, smiling at herself as she could already guess what he was going to say. Halloween Town. Of course. It'd be the perfect place. The blonde had already seen it through his memories and she knew he'd had a fun time there. But she also knew it was scary. But if she was with her friends, she'd be fine. Everyone began to agree and Sora asked if they wanted to go after school. "Sure, Sora. And I can get us there easily." The petite blonde offered. Her eyes flickered to Kairi and she knew it was awkward between the Princess and the Keyblade Master. It had been ever since the carnival. Naminé still recalled her Somebody's sadness that night and she really hoped things would turn out alright between Sora and Kairi. Looking at the Princess, she smiled at her. "Wonder what we'll all look like." Naminé said thoughtfully.

Lakayna's eyes turned to Sora at his suggestion. "I think that's a great idea," she said, "I don't think I've ever been there before. Anyway, it sound's like a fun place." It was suggested that they should go after school was over. "Sounds like a good idea, but..." she paused for a moment, her voice lowering so only her friends could hear her, "We're not gonna go through one of those dark portals again are we? Being in there gives me the creeps..." It wasn't meant to offend anyone who was able to use them for traveling world to world. Lakayna just felt really, really uneasy while traveling through one.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Kairi smiled back at her Nobody. Naminé had looked at the Princess with a smile and said "Wonder what we'll all look like." The crimsonette gave a small laugh and said "You read my mind Naminé. I was just wondering the same thing myself. I can't wait to see and find out what we'll all look like." The red head heard Lakayna tell Sora that his idea was a great one, but she didn't want to travel through the Corrridors of Darkness again. Kairi looked at the dragon girl and said, "Hmm well if you would rather Lakayna, we could take the gummi ship to Halloween Town instead."We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

A gummi ship? Lakayna closed her eyes, trying to remember where she'd heard that before. Oh right, she'd seen it in some of the memories of her different friends. "Sound's like a good idea to me Kairi," the dragon girl replied. The sixteen year old looked at all her friends once more. "We should all meet back up after we all go home and change. I don't feel like wearing school clothes after school for very long. Maybe we could all meet at the beach or something. How does that sound?""

Xion sat next to Roxas. They had been getting along. And as much as it pained her, getting to know one another again. At the thought of traveling to Halloweentown she smiled. She'd been there. She wondered though, if her appearence would change. Last time it hadn't. "That sounds like fun. So the beach then?" she asked.
Ari smiled. "Well okay then!" She listened to lakayna. It sounded like a good idea. Meet at the beach. But did they need to change? Everyone was talking about hom excited they were to see what they looked like. Sora had mentioned once that in some worlds your appearance changes. Was this holiday world one of them?
Riku stood up and nodded. "Okay, so in an hour meet at the dock." He looked at sora. "We'll get the ship," he stated with a smirk.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora grinned as everyone agreed with his plan. So, it was settled: After school, they'd go home and then meet on the beach. He caught Lakayna say that she didn't want to get in another Corridor of Darkness, which was fine with him. He wasn't a very big fan of them either. Kairi told her they could take a Gummi Ship, and Riku mentioned they'd pick it up. The brunette cocked an eyebrow at him. "I will get the ship," he stated, matter-of-factly "I don't trust you with large, expensive things." He was exaggerating a bit, considering their Gummi Ship was a free gift to them from the King. But it was important, and the silvernette had never flown before. So the ship was his own responsibility. The bell rang just then, and the group dispersed to their next classes.
~ (Time SKIP!!! ^^) ~
The rest of the day had passed very quickly. All the teachers seemed excited about Halloween as well, and they didn't want to do anything schol-related. As a result, Sora had no homework for the weekend. Perfect. Maybe they could end up staying in Halloween Town for the entire weekend. The brunette stopped by his locker and dropped off everything before leaving the building. He left completely empty-handed. Deciding it didn't matter if he changed clothes or not -- since he'd magically change into new ones in the next world -- he went straight to the island from school. Since Riku had probably gone home to change, he was the only one who retrieved the Gummi Ship. As quickly as possible, he powered it up and drove it to the beach. They'd picked a little cove that wasn't very popular, so hardly anyone probably noticed the ship. He docked it and stepped out, then sat in the doorway as he waited for the others. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart The crimsonette smiled when Lakayna said that the Gummi Ship sounded good to her. The dragon girl then asked if meeting down at the beach after was schhol was fine. Everyone agreed, and Sora said he'd go get the Gummi Ship. The bell rang and Kairi got up, shouldered her bag, waved good-bye to her friends, and headed off to the rest of her classes. To Kairi's surprise the teachers seemed to be in the Halloween spirit as well so there wasn't much work to be done. Any homework she had been given she had been able to work on and finish in class. The red head was glad for that because that meant she didn't have to worry about homework over the holiday weekend. Kairi spent the last few minutes of the school day starring at her thalassa charm attached to her school bag, thinking about Sora and everything that had happened. When the bell finally rang the crimsonette grabbed her bag and ran home. She quickly changed, told her parents she'd be out with her friends for the weekend, and then hurried down to the beach. They had chosen to meet at a little cove that wasn't too popular, that way the Gummi Ship wouldn't be too noticeable. When the Princess reached the cove she saw Sora sitting in the doorway of the ship waiting for the others. She began feeling nervous. Was the brunette the only one there? Things were going to be super awkward if he was. The crimsonette breathed a sigh of relief though when she heard at saw Blink greet and walk over to the Keybearer. Kairi continued walking and stepped onto the docks. She smiled and waved to the two boys. "Hi Blink. Hi Sora. Excited for the trip?"We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

The rest of the school day went pretty fast after lunch. There was hardly any homework, as the teachers were all excited for Halloween. Lakayna was able to get it all done in class. Soon the end-of-the-day bell rang and Lakayna dashed home. She rushed up to her room, dropped her school bag on her bed, and changed from the school clothes into a blue T-shirt, jean shorts, and snakers; surprisingly leaving her school socks on. She left her father a note on the kitchen table saying she'd be gone for he weekend with her friends and no to worry too much. Lakayna would've liked to tell her father face to face, but he was working kinda late tonight and she didn't want to get left behind.
The dragon girl left the house, remembering to grab her weapons at almost the last second; and sprinted down towards the meeting place. They'd all agreed on a not-too-popular cove that would attract little notice for the gummi ship to land there. Sora, Kairi, and Blink were already there. Lakayna waved and called to them as she ran towards them.
