I found it xd Lady Aurahkah Aura sighed and started where she remembered. "The home I grew up in was all business. My father was married to my mother for procreation purposes only and I was born solely for the purpose of running his temple. But my father hated me...he was told he would get a son and he ended up with a daughter. He also blamed me for the misfortune of my mother, after I was born she was unable to bear children any longer, and thus I prevented my father from having the son he wanted. If it wouldn't of looked bad for his reputation I'm sure he would of just had a son by another woman, but that's getting off track." "So in order to try and correct my apparently foul existance my father focused on training me mercilessly since the day I could make complete sentences. And my father was a harsh man. If I did something right my reward was being hit and told to do it better the next time. If I did something wrong I was beathen nearly to death. So I grew up, knowing that in my parent's eys I was nothing to them, only another mouth to feed and someone to deal with their business. I became detached, feeding off my own anger. I took over the temple when I was tweleve. And I ran it as he had, learned to be just a cruel as he had been." "When the kingdom collapsed my "family" was forced from the temple. They attempted to take care of themselves and told me I should do the same. Just another scrap of evidence that the thing called love didnt' exist in my little world. I turned into a thief and eventually worked my way from mere pickpocket to skilled tomb robber. And thus acquired the bracelet that keeps me here." "When the New Kingdom period rolled around and Pharaohs were on the throne once more, thieves were cracked down on. I was caught and suffered the fate of any captured theif...startvation, imaginative torture, whiped, cut, beaten, all of it. I escaped and stayed until the Romans came, then left... then Eclipse came along I changed, traveled, I came here...tried to start again...then met all of you..."

I will remeber that.
Yes, Nelphean isn't exactly an angsty character, he was turned into being a pain for a paladin.
I guess my past is not so bad, Nelphean never knew his warlord father, rarely spoke to his whore of a mother, and chose to live a life of thievery because he really had no other guidence than the Nightblade who taught him.
He became angsty later, when the Paladin ditched him in a foriegn country, and when he became depressed about be a tool of evil, and releasing a vampire from his eternal prison...
And his best friend being sold into slavery...
And the demon in the book...
Not to mention that he had a long strek of fumbling critically.

Eh...it could be better. But that's the frame work from which I build off of in the RP. I guess I should of brought this up sooner...cause I make a lot of references to it...and some people don't know it. Bad Aura! *hits self*

seeing as we are all telling are tales, Elias was normal 110 years ago, although he wached his parents get murdered because of a book called the Serpents feather which held the secrets of the aztec rain god, tried to destroy the book then ended becoming the living keeper of the secrets. Becuase of this the book won't let him die, he aged until he was 25 years and then stopped, traveled the world, where he found dawn and twilight and were he learned trying to survive to use the powers of the ancient rain god. Not to mention the obsidian blades that he uses like a master.

Hey here's a tidbit of fun. Aura is allergic to arcane ice and any other type of ice energy/magic. That's one to log away.

Yeah...my wonderfully chosen character flaw when it comes to magic and the like. Can we say, cough sneeze, can't breath, cough up blood?
And I like playing with him..mwahaha...

One day he will snap. Nelphean... Well, he has trouble casting evocation.
Have researched Aztecs and Maya before.
Quetzacoutl is also in Final Fantasy VIII
Nauhtl? Shrug, Quetz stuck out in my mind more than any of the other dieties, probably fro mall the Quautls I know of...
Feathered Serpets.
