"He can`t be dead, there isn`t any cause of death. And Edith was reported having being brought in by Tokeru, and then he left to kill himself. If he is bent on death, so much so that he would abandon Edith, he is not dead yet, and would commit suicide to leave her behind. You need a new idea, and we need a plan."
Kuro stopped pacing and walked to the door, he leaned up against it. It made a slight crack as it closed under his weight. "We need a lure, one Tokeru would follow. Edith isn`t in the condition, any suggestions?"

Jacob stood from the chair and said "No time for rest, Am. I have to get fixed." He shakily made his way down the hallway, and walked out of the Infirmary, and left New York City.

((Guys, my interbutts is getting shut down in a day or two, because I'm moving. I'm gonna use this period as Jacob's 'fixing the damage' period. He'll come back not so easy to rupture on the inside, meaning more stamina, and less crappy body crapping out on him.))

"Wait, Jacob!" Amnity got up and followed him out the Infirmary, but stopped when he exited Haven. She tried to reassure herself that he was coming back...But it stung her heart to think otherwise...
Amnity came back next to Mephlius and shook her head. "You know as much information as I do Mephlius...Possibly even more." No...I have to think positive right now. I can't go slouching around in depression. The hunter straightened her back and tried to smile. Every ounce of negative energy that her friends give out, she has to give double the positive attitude...And she was now trying very hard. "I don't think a lure would be a good idea. He's trying to kill himself, I think...Because he doesn't want to hurt anyone he cares about with his newfound powers. If anything else, the lure might actually make him evade us more."

"I`m clueless, this really is hard. Well if he is trying to kill himself, then he will try way after way until he finds a way out of it." He stopped pacing and sat down, "That might take some time anyway." He tried to think like Tokeru, but found it difficult from lack of information, "I barely know the guy, but my best guess would try to solve paranormal with paranormal, maybe some enchantment or something. The only place like that I can think of would be right here in Haven, but he won`t come back here for fear of being caught." He got lost in thought, his head fell back against the wall and he stared at the ceiling. "He won`t be able to kill himself for a while, so let`s just continue on with our lives, he`ll run into us sooner or later."

Amnity looked over at Kuro, he seemed to be as stressed as she was. "But Kuro, we can't just quit the search and hope he just happens to run into us! He now has godlike powers, yes, but he can still find a way to kill himself..." The hunter walked closer to Kuro, trying hard to make eye contact with him. "We can still try to find him...And I don't know about you, but I'm going to go look for him myself." With that, she grabbed her black gunner coat and headed for the door.
The hunter stopped though when she came next to Mephlius. She opened her mouth to say something...Then just decided that it was not worth saying.

Mephlius looked at her, quizzically. By the time he had decided to ask her what she was going to say, she was already gone. ((To save time and space)) He ran back to the barracks, put on a spare shirt, and headed after her.

Gail had spent the entire night working on Edith with Eliot on stand-by in case something out of the ordinary was to happen since it seemed to be a regular occurrence in haven. She'd managed to neutralize the chemicals that were highly reacting to one another in Meredith's body, causing her to be sick and weakened with another substance that neutralized it. As for the bullet wounds, she'd removed the bullets and stitched the holes up to help the young vampire heal faster. Eliot had been sent off to get Eden some blood packets for a blood transfusion as she'd lost a lot of blood from something that obviously had been a fight before Tokeru had taken her back here. Lastly, though it was out of habit more than out of actually being useful towards Meredith's recovery, Gail had swabbed Edith's wounds on her arms and legs with a disinfectant. She knew full well that Eden would not be infected but she did so anyway in case it somehow managed to help her. All night she'd sat and monitored Meredith for signs of distress though vampires didn't possess a pulse to monitor so Gail had been forced to stay up with the vampire for the entire night, having switched shifts with Eliot once to get a bit of sleep so as to still be useful and competent. The poor medic was half asleep when her clearly weakened patient rose from her bed to ask her what'd happened and why she was there.
Eden had awoken and had been having difficulty recalling whether or not she'd come here of her own accord or whether someone had brought her here. She also didn't recall what'd happened to her and if she'd been hunting or simply being stupid as she so often tended to be. When Gail gave her the answer and she read the HIN, she immediately jumped out of bed, wincing at all the wounds that reacted to this. However, soon enough her worry and adrenaline kicked in and she no longer felt her wounds. Quickly, though Gail was following her around trying to convince her to go lie back down and rest while the other hunters took care of things, Eden ignored her and merely retrieved all of her weapons and other such things. She stripped the night gown from herself only to have Eliot come in, gawk and run back out so that his a** was not kicked though Meredith had hardly noticed. "********! Why the hell is everything falling apart?! If Tokeru's dead I swear to God I'm going to murder all of these Goddamned hunters!" Rarely did Edith use the Lord's name in vain, and twice in a row had maybe been once or twice in a lifetime. Apparently something was wrong and people knew it when Meredith said the Lord's name in vain twice in a row.

Mephlius ran in, and set Kuro down on a bed. Dr. Gail walked in. "Oh goodness... do you guys ever have a normal day? Honestly..." "Deja Vu..."

Amnity heard Dr. Gail's comment and couldn't help but laugh despite the situation. "You get paid to heal us doctor, I can't imagine you complaining."
She leaned against the door frame as she watched Dr.Gail begin treatment for Kuro's wounds. She tried extra hard not to cough at the doctor's presence...She had Kuro to take care of and Amnity didn't want to interrupt her. The hunter exited the room and walked down the halls, softly letting out a few coughs at a time. When she got far away enough where she knew no one would hear her, she began letting out coughs that sounded painful to just listen to.

Mephlius originally followed Amnity to give Kuro space, but at the sound of the coughs he sped up to a jog, and caught up with her. "Am? Are you sure you're okay?"

Amnity didn't turn around to him, because he might see the blood. "Yeah, I'm fine." And again, she quickly wiped her bloody hands on her shirt before finally turning to him. "...But how are you?...Are you alright?"
