ooh. maybe they don't call it that way in all places of the world.
portable radio, used a lot in ghettos, street b-bal courts, in movies you always see those ig dudes with a radio on their shoulder blasting the streets in ghettos...so that's what the name came from whee

I know what your talking about. But Ive never heard them called that. Most of the time their just called boom boxes.
