"Ouch! Okay, if the world's decided to hate me today..."
Rhys reached over and grabbed his healing staff, propped up on the wall near him. Taking it in both hands, he was about to give his attacker a good whap with the staff when he glanced in a mirror in Rei's room and saw...
"A pegasus? Wait... Huey, is that you? You DO realize you're eating my hair, right?"

"I...I really don't know what we can do. I just want to run in and save Synra myself, but..." She sighed and took another bite of her apple, chewing it for a bit and swallowing before speaking again. "We're nowhere near strong enough to. It hurts to admit, but it's true. Charging in will only get us killed, and Synra...Vaher, too, they deserve better than that." Vika took a deep breath. "Every moment we wait is another moment something could happen to them. But...if we really want to save them, we really don't have a choice but to bide our time."

"Huey!" Alihi stood on the balcony where she last saw Huey.
The fact that the pegasus wasn't there confused the tactician. She headed back down again... to see Huey apparently trying to devour Rhys' hair and hands.
Holding back a laugh, she walked towards the pegasus, holding a noble carrot in her hand.

Vika nodded. "Yes...that's what we need to do. I...need to be stronger, so I can defend her. She deserves that much." She glared at Stefan with a look of determination. "I'm willing to spar with you if you need me to."

Nils entered the room, also in a search for food.
He did stop, however, to stare at Rhys and Huey. He chuckled slightly, shaking his head, and then grabbed a bagel to slowly tear-and-eat.

Stefan finished his apple in the next bite and tossed the core into the woods. "Do you really think you can keep up with me?"

Rhys saw Nils, but more importantly, he saw the bagel.
"H-hey! Bagel! Where the heck do you--"
Rhys now had one hand on Huey's lower jaw and the other on her upper jaw, straining a bit to open her mouth so he could escape.
"Get--one of those? I haven't eaten in days!"

Vika smiled for the first time since Synra had been taken. "No. But if I can't keep up with you, I'll never be able to save Synra. So don't go easy on me."

Nils nodded.
"Sure, milord." He normally would have said something like, "you didn't say pleaaaaaaaase~", but he just didn't feel like teasing Rhys at the moment. Besides, the bard knew that Rhys needed the food.
Grabbing another bagel, he handed it to Rhys.

Stefan paused. "Mmm, that is true. Very well...Let's see what you can do then."
Stefan drew Vague Katti and adopted a defensive stance.

Rhys withdrew further into the room, still in the same clothes he wore to the party, save for the white coat, which he removed. He was finally able to stand and walk around, albeit with some leaning on his staff for support.
"Right. Thank you, Nils," Rhys said, taking a small bite and savoring the simple flavor. "What goes on around this place today?"

To make things easier, I'm saying that Nils heard what Vika said earlier about Synra and Vaherianslyeri. ))
Nils smiled lightly. "No problem..." He paused for a moment.
"Well, you already know of Huey's return, but there's still no signs of Tibarn or Aidan... Also, we heard from Vika that Synra and Vaherianslyeri are going to be... fixed. I'm not sure exactly what that means, though."
