Is watching their discussion unnoticed. Meta-humans? But I thought... Turns her attention to Campas. He's a meta-human... She is then lost in her thoughts and unaware of the two talking...

 The vampire strode in with a look of confidence, and reached into a cage, feeding off a drone without a qualm. Her teeth punctured it for a good minute, until she realised that the poor thing was about to be drained, and released quickly.
She gave a slight whine, still hungry for blood, but her morals overrode it; there was no way she would drain anybody, ever.
