((Why would you borrow a rug for the weekend? And why are there so many red stains on it? This must've been the rug your pups got their oil paints on, huh?

[Nope. It's paint stains, yes, but they are Jilly's stains.

She never did like paint on her tarps. And as for my borrowing the rug, I rather like the swirls of paints on it; it certainly works better for the rave, atmo, yes?]

[Oil paints, darlin'; again, they don't wash out. Well, not in a W&D, anyway. And I am not paying to have a rug dry cleaned, if it's just going to get "dirty" again, the next day.
