It was as she expected, after a success there was bound to be a failure. "somehow I knew this would happen.." she said sarcastically while laughing ,it was getting usual for her, succeeding , then failing, then succeeding ,and it goes like this over and over. So she got back to her breathing method and continued.

This is it,Kurina was finally near to finish her training, and she would never stop now, when she is too close to finish this."i will finish...I will succeed...and then I am going home to sleep !!!" she yelled laughing and jumping around like crazy. I totally don't look like a serious person..Heheh..she thought sarcastically. And got back to her thing.

"Come on, one more time, just one more time, come you lazy girl..." Kurina mumbled to herself while practicing, just one more push up and she would finish her training. She relaxed a bit and started on her last move, hoping she would pull it off and go home then.

yet again,her heart told her that she would fail, she didn't have to think about it to know it,it was obviouse,you can't just have several successful attempts over and over,there was bound to be a wrong one.so she decided to rest for a bit and then do it again.

after resting ,she got back to her feet, and breathed in and out,started at the sky,and then moved a little bit with all signs of boredem in her face,her cloth got dirty after all of this,mud was a bit over her pants, and her hand got dirty by th ground.how fun...yay she thought .and focused on finish her training.

 A blade sliced the air, cracking hard into the hide of a large tree. standing stiff in the air, birds chirping around the calm ground. The grounds deserted, it's usual crowd off in the village celebrating the new genins.
*Sigh*
Dash stepped forward, grabbing the knife and pushing it down and out of the tree. How long was he seriously supposed to wait? It had been nearly 30 minutes now, and still his kids hadn't shown. This was his first batch his time. After many long years of learning and serving it was his time to restart the cycle. Blinking slowly behind his loud glasses the man looked down to his tanto. It was the only blade he brandished today, the others back at home. He wouldn't need them today. Sheathing the small knife in it's place behind his back, Dash ruffled his hair, this was ridiculous.

Xenon walked with a rather unconcerned air, his quick rest doing him some good. He arrived at the training grounds a little late, but in truth he didn't really regret his choice. He felt as good as new, as he usually did after sleeping, another facet of his kekke Genaki perhaps, but who knew. When he noticed a man ruffled his hair some distance away. Seeing as the grounds were deserted, it was a fair bet that this was Jounin sensei... his first impression? He didn't really have one. Judging a Ninja by it's cover was unwise, and Xen considered himself so. He approached the Jounin, hands in his pockets, dawning the same "I'm a pleasant individual smile" that some may have seen as swauve, but the truth was as hard as he tried to be perfectly innocent a hint of his smirk always shone through, resulting in his current expression.
"Are you...Dash sir?"

The man glared from his glasses,
"No."
This must have been one of his students, he wouldn't know his name otherwise. Sizing him up quickly, the edgy yet clean-cut style. He stared into the boys eyes for a few awkward seconds.
"I won't tolerate any of this 'sir' s**t. Otherwise, yeah I'm Dash."
He tried going for a more intimidating and cold mood.
"Now where are you little friends? I'm sick of waiting."

"Dash it is then," he remarked, calm unbroken. Xen pushed up his glasses "I've no doubt they'll be here soon..." 'Speaking of friends, it's not as though you'll make any with that attitude.' Xenon was amused though, at their teacher's disposition. 'At least he doesn't seem the type to spew out idealistic nonsense. He seems more level headed.' Slightly irritable, and level headed. Perhaps he merely had a hound for punctuation. He'd make a note of that for later.
"So then, Dash." he didn't bother with manners of any kind now, his tone unflattering and more blunt, as Dash didn't seem the type to be handled with flowery language "I'm Xenon Maboroshi...You may call me Xen if you prefer. It's a pleasure to meet you." He blinked. His Kimiko sense was suddenly alerting him.
Kimiko was approaching in the distance.

The man laughed heartily in his mind, this one had a chip on his shoulder. He let a small grin creep on his face,
"Yeah pleasure. This is gonna be a blast."
He said with sarcasm pointing out the rigid coolness of Xen's composition. From what he guessed this one was smart, maybe thinking over his head, maybe not. Whatever the case Dash recognized the name, Maraboshi. Genjutsu users. That would be helpful, but with a power like that he'd have to watch this Xen.

Raine hit the gates of the training grounds finally. Gasping for breath and with aching legs he smiled up at Kimiko. Standing fully up he peered out over the land, dense trees across the hot springs marked Kumo forest and the to the south a path of trees led to the back streets of oto, while to the north the dojo stood tall and strong. An honorable building with figures standing beneath it. A burst of excitement, he couldn't make them out very well from this distance, he'd have to hurry and meet them. Joggin over Raine raised his hands. "Sorry, sorry I'm late!" he was still beaming with excitement as he stepped before Xen and Dash. Recognizing the boy from the dojo just days before, Raine pulled up his chin acknowledging him. He then turned his attention to their team leader. "Hey." he was a very cool looking guy, slick with a fire about him.

Xenon gave a small, borderline mischievous grin "Oh the usual. Parents dead, Kekke Genkai, the same old happy tune." he laughed, still a little impish "I suppose it's my quest for strength but that sounds so stiff. Let's just say I'm here on a whim." He returned his hands to his pockets. "May I ask the same of-"
It was about this time that Raine arrived, Xenon nodded in return to his acknowledgment. Ah yes... someone must be looking out for him to put the two most amusing Ninja in the graduating class on his team. This would be fun. Kimiko was quickly behind Raine.
Kimiko skidded to a halt beside Maboroshi, a little out of breath but clearly having plenty of energy left because raised her hand as though someone was taking attendance "I'm here!"
Xenon looked at her sideways, his smirk spreading almost involuntarily "Ah Momoe-san...I thought I heard your dainty foot steps. This our Sensei, Dash."
Kimiko suddenly stared there Team leader up and down, her green eyes scrutinizing him for a moment. He looked pretty cool...but what was he like..? This was here sensei after all... he just HAD to be cool, he HAD to be. She smiled again and held out her hand cheerfully "Hi! I'm Kimiko!"

"Yo."
He said quickly, observing the three around them. They all seemed very different. And they all had one thing in common...
"Well, congratulations guys-"
He smiled broadly.
"You've all come unfashionably late to our little meeting."
Looking down at the ground, he tried to decide what he should do next. He had taught the academy before, but now... there was no worth wasting their time with life stories. That could be left for later, Dash really just wanted to dive right into their fighting styles, skills, and team compatibility. They all seemed to know each other which was good.
"Well the past is the past. So say you guys show me you're not all flakes? I want to get going quickly so just say your name and what you specialize in." he turned to Raine who stood just to his left. The small boy felt bad for being late, he shrunk a bit feeling like he had been a real let-down. When his introduction came though the small boy was beaming and proud once more. "I'm Tekkenseisai Raine, of the reckless fist fighters. I specialize in Taijutsu!" He flung quick powerful punches in the air smiling. "Okay, we've got the brawn now wheres the brains?" Dash looked to the other two, while Raine let his jaw drop behind him. (Gtg for 20 min at most,)

Xenon seemed to take this as his cue, and even Kimiko looked at him. "I suppose that would be me. Xenon Maboroshi. I specialize in long range combat, combining the use of Senbon and Genjutsu. I've knowledge on a variety of subjects, including a crash course in tactics, and also employ Shunshin for evasive maneuvers." Finished, his gold eyes turned sideways to Kimiko.
Kimiko smiled "Oh! Me. I'm Kimiko Momoe. I guess I specialize in my sword," she grabbed the fine weapons hilt "and Fire Ninjutsu." she gave a peace sign in conclusion her smile wide. She wanted to make good first impression after all.
Xenon wondered now about their Sensei. What strengths did he possess? He seemed to possess a rather snark sense of humor...which he could relate too, but other than that he could tell nothing...his eyes flickered slightly. Other than that he was concealing a Tanto behind his back which he'd seen earlier... but other than that...

"Well, I'm Dash. Just Dash. I specialize in duel wielding katana and elemental ninjutsu. so with that we've got a pretty balanced team."
Turning his chin up he smiled. Dash had been planning the night before and had set up a section of the forest for just this occasion.
"Okay, youngins-" he joked, "I want to see you in action. This will be just like a mission and you must treat it with the greatest importance. I've set up a game in the forest. Each of you will be assigned a color."
He pointed to Raine,"Blue."
Than Kimiko,"Red."
And Xen,"Green."
"In the forest just past the river there are 2 corresponding flags for each color. Get them before the others and you win. The winner gets 500g, out of my own pocket. -_-, and if any of you fail to receive both flags all of you will be forced to give up your headbands. Yeah, doesn't sound so bad, but you'll think again when you're the only academy students still walking the streets tonight."
Dash glared with sadistic smirk down at his knew students.
"So what the hell, get going!"
He pointed back toward the other side of the training ground that was dense in trees and started downhill into the dense forest, before reaching a shallow ravine cradling the river before ascending to Mt. Oto.
