"Oh." Megumi reached out to be heldby her father. Lyoko picked up the baby and gently handed her over to Ryu. She continued to play with Kaoiri who was giggling for no reason.

Ryu smiles as he takes Megumi in his arms, craddling her as she reaches up grabing his long goatee and mustash.

((Since when did he have a gotee and moustache?)) Kaori looked up at her sister for a minute before getting up adn crawling into Lyoko's lap.

He chuckles some as his daughter plays with his face. He then reaches over and loops and arm around Lyoko after Kaori crawls into her lap.

Kaori fell asleep in Lyoko's lap while Megumi giggled at her father. "They love to smile and laugh."

Ryu smiles and says "that's good, every child should have joy in their hearts." he nuzzles his nose with Megumi's, yielding more laughter from her.

Kaori was still while she slept. Kari came over with a blanket in her mouth and covered up Kaori. Lyoko pet Kari's head before the cat took Kovu by the scruff and sat down to groom him.

Sometime later an attendent suddenly knocks on the door and calls from the other side "My lord the first gathering of Kitsune have arrived. We await you at the inspection hall." Ryu sighs and says "I'll be there shortly." The attendent calls back "yes my lord" then leaves.

Lyoko was silent until the attendant left. "Should I come with you? Or stay here with the girls?" Megumi was gurgling happily, not caring what was going on.

Ryu thinks for a moment, then says "probably not, I don't know. I mean being the queen of this territory such administrative activities will be something you have to do from time to time, but I'm not sure you'd want to be around for this." He then stands and says "I however do need to be present, I can't call myself the lord of this land, if I'm not present to pass down the laws."

She nodded and took Megumi from his arms. "All right, I'll stay here then. I'll send someone to get Kira so she can be introduced to the babies." Lyoko called for a maid and had her go retrieve Kira, the guards following behind.

Ryu gave Megumi back to Lyoko before leaving. He honestly didn't like this, but for the safety of his family, and his territory, this was going to need to be done.
Meanwhile the maid with the guards goes and retreaves Kira, bringing her to Lyoko. The maid would leave, while the guards would remain by the door. Kira watched them leave her alone with Lyoko, Kari and the babies, before looking to them. "I first want to say thank you for vouching for me. I'm sure I'd have been put to death for being a party to those that kidnapped you. Any way, I take it I'm to be your new maid in waiting, or so the word around the castle says."

"Yes, Kitsuna will be leaving with Iro who knows when. I don't even consider her a maid any more. So you'll need to get use to being with Kaori and Megumi. As well as Kari and her cubs." Lyoko watched Kaori crawl over to Kira, Loka following close behind just to make sure the baby stays safe.
