Luxran sat up slightly. "I'm feeling slightly better than before." he said with a tear from his eye. He remembered that Yuki and him were friends forever and he could never let anything happen to her.

"Halt!" Shaydra called. "We wish to pass." The guards looked at the group with surprise, but stopped. They went through, one by one.

Lex shook her head at the guards, trying to look like a pet. She walked behind Zinc, mking sure the guards just thought the hooded stranger had a horse. She knew shifters were not always welcomed with open arms.

Shaydra, near the very back, quickly transformed into a human girl before she passed the guards. Humans trusted no one except their own kind.
"I think there's a tavern somewhere where you can also rent a room," Shaydra said quietly, her voice somewhat more high-pitched because of her current form. "It's cheap but moderately comfortable."
