I understand how it is. Math sucks.... crying Like a hooker in her prime?
Dammit, there's no cable in my house. No TV, no phones, and no internet. Sucks. crying
At least I can still play games...You could try dial-up and local TV...if you had a DTV box or an HDTV. Also, if you have a laptop with a wireless card, you could potentially mooch off a neighbor's wifi. 8D
I could, but they have all theirs' protected with a password. D<

Yay, finished Fina's pirate look BTW! X3That is pretty good. O8 What sword is that? Looks like the Anima Admantia or whatever.
Man I wish I had that much gold...XD
It's that dumb Spectrobes Rallen's Sword, the free item from watching a game trailer. It's the only blue glowing sword I had on hand, so I just used that.
Hopefully, I'll save up enough for an Ice Blade. X3 I'm gonna work on getting all of Fina's normal outfit and a Vyse costume as well. X3

I usually don't use them...or really like them...
It's just my opinion really, but I don't see where they fit into the stories usually...
I suppose it could work for SoA...

Ponder this, you can play an existing character with set emotions, actions, traits, and quirks OR you can decide all of that and have your very own creation, running around Arcadia.
instead of asking "What would Fina do if she went to Nasr" you are asking
"What would I do if I traveled to Nasr".
We KNOW what vyse would do if he saw raiders, but what would you do? stop them? help them? kill them but take the gold? with an OC, the possibilities are ENDLESS!

Well yes, you can do that. For me though, it's hard to come up with an "original" character that does not sound like some other existing character.
I suppose I've just seen so many Inuyasha OCs that are the same that it gives me a headache.
And there is a challenge of getting into a canon character's mind set. Sometimes it isn't easy. You have to think ahead and not think the way that you and your conscience mind thinks. I enjoy the challenge of trying to match up the personality as close as I can. Though no one is perfect. And I understand that some people suck at being canons, because there are some canons I cannot play myself.
*sigh* I'm not here to argue though, I respect your opinion, so I hope you respect mine.
All I am saying is I prefer canons over OCs. That's all.

I have played Connon soA characters before, just not as my main. Arcadia is a vast world though! I guess I am just all "This is what I would have done in that situation" plus it is just downright fun to make sky pirates.

I have to agree with you Sevi. This is my view on OCs really.
OCs are good...If they're not the normal Mary/Gary Sue you usually see. And since I've found it hard to find a well developed OC, I prefer canons.
I admit, I can't really develop an OC well enough myself. That's why I go with canons. Set background and personality that you have to try and match as best as you can. XP
That and I've seen so many OCs butchered into a horrible mess that it's terrifying. DX
But the Black Moon, yes I can see that. Otherwise...OCs tend to scare me.
