As he spoke, she raised her head, giving him a small, tight smile. "Well enough." she said finally, bending to lick at a slice in one shoulder. "Unfortunately, I think it's time to exit your cave, unless it has someplace I can wash off all this blood." her tone was carefully neutral, bland. She stretched out her wings, testing to see if they had been torn. Luckily, not. But they were still around the base- they'd likely been scratched. "How bad do they look?" she asked finally, turning her head to try and see.

"Very well then." He turned his body towards a tunnel that lead away from the cavern they stood in. Giving her a small glance as he inspected her wounds from a small distance. "They don't look too bad. But it'd probably be best if you washed them out. There should be a river nearby outside."
Heavy hoof falls echoed through out the cave as the stallion slipped into the tunnel. The glow of the outside light could be seen not too far ahead. Zuli had headed in the right direction to the exit. Perhaps though mostly by chance. The creature that had chased her down might of driven her there. But now it was over. It lay dead upon the rocky floor. Its insides on the out and half eaten. Scavengers in the cave would soon come and it would be best if they moved along. Not that they were much of a threat, more like pests really.

She moved behind the stallion closely, paying careful attention to the aches of the muscles in her back. They may not look too bad, but she felt awful. As the blood cooled on her body, she could feel it forcing her muscles to stiffen, and the aches to start. The light outside made her move a little faster, ignoring the dull complaint of torn flesh and muscle as she brushed between the stallion and the rock of the tunnel.
She noted that the stallion was large next to her. Both comforting, and terrifying, with her current situation. Well, not even a second thought would have been given, but she was wounded, and in unfamiliar territory. Zulimar wasn't used to feeling like prey.
