Frightened by all that was going on Kiandra yelled, "You're confused?! You just broke into my home! And you!" She whirled and pointed a shaking finger at the boy on the floor. "How dare you threaten me? What have I done to you? " Tears pressed against her eyes and she finally turned to Paul. "I don't know! Mira and I come home and th-this happens!"
Moving closer to Mira, Kiandra took a deep breath and growled, "In order to avoid further confusion I suggest that we all introduce ourselves. I refuse to continue until I get an understanding of this situation. I am Kiandra Richter." She at everyone and repeated herself in English for Paul's benefit.

Mira didn't see how introducing themselves would allow them to understand. One thing was for sure, she wasn't giving her name to a bunch of dangerous people. "I think we're all in a b-big misunderstanding." she finally stammered. "I don't know what you're all doing here, but..."
It was then that she realized to the full extent that the human was back. With his gun. And there were others in sight, those who could do a lot of damage if needed be. This situation was definitely more dangerous than she had first presumed.
Oh... crap.
Well, things were definitely getting out of hand now...

Rodric Volcan walked briskly towards Terces, the secret portion of the building used to house important persons in means of an emergency. He was quite miffed by the interruption. The transfer of an entire populous required a lot of dedication... especially when that meant the complete cooperation of the humans, something which he observed was not easily gained.
He turned a hallway, muttering a code word as he passed through an archway. The code word was received by a recognition device, activating the archway's capabilities and transporting Rodric through to Terces. To the average eye, it looked as though Rodric had simply vanished.
"What exactly is the meaning of this?" Rodric asked impatiently, viewing the strange gathering of peoples that now assembled in Terces. His eyes settled on the lanky young boy first, eyeing him with confusion before replacing it with shock.
"Ilusia!" he said. "Explanation, now!"
A thin, gentle hand rested on Ian's shoulder. "Ian is a very important asset to this project, Rodric. He and the others will be of more use to us than you mght think."
"Others?" Rodric said, an eyebrow raising in irritation, "Just how much have you been accomplishing behind my back, Ilusia?"
"Enough to assure the safety of our people, without compromising your lust for power, Rodric." she said, a smug smile curling her lips.
Rodric seemed to puff up in anger at this, but he said nothing more on the subject. "And what, pray, is the emergency?"
"Someone in this building wishes harm. That is enough for me."

"I Don't know what's going on! I'm running for my life here, and people are everywhere and a bleeding human is aiming a gun at me! WHY THE 'ELL DO YOU THINK I'M USING MY POWERS?", Bane said, his voice raising with each word, the sparks in front of him slowly drifting into a single flaming orb just above the center of his chest.
His eyes glinted slightly in the odd light of the sparks and emergency lights, before he said,"I'm Bane... and I would leave if I could get close to a bleeding window or door, and see somewhere to go too...."

Nova saw no point whatsoever in introducing herself, but she had fould the human and the two girls who had been protecting him. " I'm Nova, and would everybody CALM DOWN!!!!" she ended shouting, turning to look at Bane as the small sparks turned into an orb of flames in front of him. She turned away from him and adressed everyone else." Now, somebody needs to explain what in the hell is going on, but not here. Someone could overhear. We can go to my house, my aunt and uncle are never home." She said, wanting to move from this commonly used hallway before someone saw. She also wanted to get as much information on what happened as she could before she turned them all in. If she was lucky, she would get jobs like these more often after she turned them in. She motioned down the hallway with her hand. " My house is this way." she stated before turning and walking away down the earily lit hallway.

Mira stared after the woman incredulously. "Your house? I don't think so, we don't even know yo..." She trailed off as a conversation with her dad entered her mind.
Nova Baker stopped me today... Works for the Volcans, despite the fact that she's younger than you. She's a feisty one, that girl. Don't get on her bad side...
...Works for the Volcans....
Oh crap. Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap, she thought. She works for the Volcans and there's a human within sight.
Mira's eyes flitted to the human. She couldn't bear to see someone else be killed tonight. "Uh..." she said, coming to a conclusion similar to the one she had earlier. "Catch!" she held out her hands and sent a bolt of electricity towards Nova. Thinking quickly, she grasped Kiandra's wrist and ran towards the nearest exit. "Move!" she ordered, turning her head towards the human. "Run!" she yelled at him, hoping he would understand how much danger he was in.

Kiandra watched in horror as Mira threw electricity at the Girl called Nova. Only danger could have prompted her to do something as crazy as that. "Move!" Mira's hand caught her wrist and the two moved to the exist. Turning, Kiandra threw a fearful glance towards Paul. Despite the fact that Paul was a man and could probably take care of himself, Kiandra felt responsible for him. If he were to die when she could have prevented it..."Paul run!!" She turned back to Mira and demanded, "Mira what's going on? Was she going to kill us?!"

Just when Bane was going to do something to escape, all hell broke loose and one of the girls attacked another. He grinned slightly, leaping to the side, and glancing out a window, screaming,"JACKPOT!"
A second later he was twenty feet away, running on the surface, the flow of blood finally having stopped. He kept glancing behind him, worried that he was being followed.

It had been about an hour since Justinius's failed attempt on Nigellus's life; he stood in his home's rather luxurious parlour, facing six other Bermudians. He frowned as one of the two women present sniggered.
"You actually ran in there by yourself and thought you could kill him?" she said from behind her hand. "Justinius, you're too hot-headed."
"Stupid is more like it, Lucia," one of the men said. "He made the mistake of listening to Gaius."
"You mean the little round one, looks like a weasel?" Lucia played with a bit of her blonde hair.
"That's the one. He's always trying to get him in trouble, don't know why he listens..."
Justinius tapped the floor with a hilted sword, glaring at the other two. "I believe," he said in a tight voice, "that that is enough, Lucia, Rosso. We have much more important matters to deal with. I have heard rumours of a human here in the city. Is there any support for the idea?"
"A jet landed on the topside," the other, black-haired woman said. "My sources confirm that whoever piloted it has escaped the Flighters and taken refuge in the city. The human may be connected to the power outage, but that's speculation."
"There's the matter of the Flighter movement, as well." Justinius looked at Rosso, waiting for some remark about his earlier exploits. "Well, besides what you did," Rosso said with a smirk. "Not much on that considering how recently it started--as in, two hours ago, at most--but my boys are hearing things about humans. And quite a bit of that's over in the blackout."
Justinius nodded, his mouth set in a line. A lot of talk was on that human, moreso than past occurrences of humans; and naturally, it was tied to the blackout. "There's the chance that a Bermudian could have caused that blackout; anything on that?" His informants shook their heads. "Is there anything else I should be aware of?" The six informants shook their heads. "Very well, then. You are dismissed."
"What are you going to, Justinius?" Rosso asked as he stood up.
Justinius fastened one of his swords to his belt as he made to leave the parlour. "I'm going hunting."
Within minutes, he'd reached the blacked-out area of the city; he marveled at the hideous glow of the emergency lights. They really do make you look like a corpse. As he strolled through the dim light, he happened upon a Flighter creeping about one of the better-looking homes; Justinius recognized it as the Richters' estate.
The Flighter was easily disposed of with a quick shift in gravity; as the man lay facedown in the street, recovering from a red-out, Justinius decided to pay the Richters a visit in the hopes of pumping them for some information. He walked up to the door and knocked rather loudly.

Nova cursed quietly to herself as the girl named Mira, she had used process of elimination to figure that out, turned and threw a ball of electricity at her, grazing her shoulder and leaving her with a dead arm. Everone seemed to run in a different direction. Why do people do this everytime I get a good job, she thought as she teleported to in front of the running Bane.
"I would stop running unless you want to be exciled. Now, come quietly and that won't happen. Stay here, or I won't be as nice when I find you again." She said before teleporting to Mira and Kiandra invisibly.
"Please stop, I really don't want to have your dad exciled Mira, but I will if you take another step." She said before teleporting to the human, becoming visible so as not to frighten him into running. If he decided to run, she wouldn't be able to do anything. Guessing by his size, she thought, it would be like trying to stop a charging rhino for a girl my size.
" Please, calm down. I will not hurt you or anybody else," yet she mentally added, "if you just explain to me how you got here and what has happened since then." She said. She hoped to god that everybody had listened, but she was burned out. Training earlier this morning, a passenger filled jet plane, and now this?!?! "I can't take anymore!" She screamed out loud on accident before collapsing to the ground, breathing heavily and shivering from the overuse of her muscles.

Paul stopped, about to run for the door. Just then a knock came at the door. He whirled around, the Beretta leaping up to point at the door. Nervous, he backed up, running into the girl. "You speak English, huh?" he queried, already knowing the answer. "Good. Tell whoever's outside the door to come in but with their hands up. And slowly. It had better be slowly. And inform them that if they try to mess with me, my finger's about a millimeter from firing the weapon, so it'll shoot if they do anything. Got all that? Good. Repeat it in your language." All his words came out in a long, near-breathless stream, slowly rising in pitch and volume until he reached "so it'll shoot if they do anything,". His entire frame was tensed, twitching, except for his gun arm and hand, which he had somehow perfectly steadied.
"NOW!" he shouted suddenly, panicking slightly.

Bane was not impressed by Nova's speed, though he did stop. She seemed to have moved onwards, which was good for him, since he doubted anyone could keep up with him once he got going, and he'd already been exiled before, so that didn't worry him.
Glancing around once, to check if she was still there, he quietly said,"Sorry... No can do."
With one last glance, he began shadow stepping as fast as possible, moving over a mile in less than a minute.

((funny how everyone's mentioned the green emergency lights. lol))
Kiandra almost crashed into Nova as she suddenly appeared before the two girls. "Please stop, I really don't want to have your dad exciled Mira, but I will if you take another step." She disappeared and Kiandra turned frightened eyes to Mira. "She's a Flighter isn't she? Oh Volcan...Mira! We can't leave Paul there. he has no idea what Flighters are capable of doing!" Blushing dully she suddenly remembered that Mira's own father was a Fighter. "Not that I'm saying your Father is like that."
