((Yep, you can powerplay on the dragons. If you don't, what chance will you have at all? Just remember that they're dragons, you kinda have to be fair... I will be, it takes several minutes for a dragon to revive itself. xd ))
Kai watched the dragon die, then watched it fall. The man with the strange flaming sword seemed like a cat... there weren't any cats underwater, unless if they were catFISH. He looked up and saw another dragon spitting globs of water at the sword. Nothing really seemed to extinguish it. The remaining dragons continued their task of tearing apart the landscape. They were bearing down on a hidden stash of groundwater in an underground lake to flood the entire area into a massive mud pie.
Actually, it really was no surprise nothing happened to that flamethrowing arm. It was a Dominus, because it has a massive amount of soul energy attached to it. Only one person could use thish Dominus and only a few can handle it. The thing wasn't going to spark out for the simple presence of water. It was handling energy from PLASMIC substances, what was a little water to PLASMA? And besides, Rivera made it! If she made a Dominus, they're usually pretty good. Kai could vaguely find his own memories in the clutches of the Multiverse. Whoever this was, he was lucky to have his weapon forged by the most powerful warrior princess on both sides of the Amazonian Women.
At the time, if Rivera WAS present, she would probably be kicking Kai twenty yards into Oblivion. Then again, neither of them had control over anything at this point in time. Kai poised his sword, another dominus, and rushed in to engage the man in single combat. True, Rivera DID make the flamethrowing arm waterproof... but a Dominus is only as good as its maker. Kai's sword was forged by the man who taught Rivera the art of Soul Sorcery, and of course, that would make it stronger than the flamethrower... depending on how Kai used it, that is.

Regaining his footing he looked up at the man only to find him wielding his own sword. Feeling something fly by him he instinctively jumped out of the way as another dragon shot water at his blade. Jumping into mid-air he quickly shot out more flames from his arm grabbing the ends with his metallic arm as they traveled down his legs and gave him a slight boost in the direction he was headed. Which was strait down as he thrusted his sword towards a dragon's skull allowing it to grow.
"Damn, I don't know what they're doing here, but I gotta stop them.", he thought to himself as he balanced on the hilt of the blade staring up at the man. He felt a slight shiver go up his spine as he glanced up at him again. He didn't know if he could win or not, but he had to at least try or what was the point of making that damned pact in the first place.
Letting the flames swirl around his arms he created two blades of fire each the length of two sabres and the width of a dirk. As the flames at his legs traveld to his back where two lumps were begining to form as wings composed of fire burst out his back. Taking flight he stared at the man wondering what he would to as he felt the toll of the manipulations were taking on him.
"Dman, I can't keep handling the fire like this. Looks like I'll have to keep them like this", he thought again as he stared at the man waiting to see waht he would do.

Kai stamped his left foot on the ground and left the ground behind him. A pair of thin steel wings erupted from him back, shredding his black cloak and piercing through his armor. Unlike Rivera, Kai had gained full aerial control over his wings. A torrent of water poured around him in strange and arcane shapes, forming writhing snakes to shapeless globules, dancing around him like a dancer's long sash. Kai swung his sword, which was quickly enveloped in a light like icy mist, damp and freezing over the cold steel. It was an equal match for the heat of a Dominus fire. This was to turn into aerial combat, well, let it be so... Even as he somersaulted from above to attack the man below, he could see the fallen dragons reviving.

He swore silently as he saw a dragon he just killed begin to literally pull itself together as he took flight. As he flapped his wings he barely had tim to see the man jump he and take flight as well. Brining up his own sword to guard he took to the air dodging another dragons lunge at him. Leaving the dragons to their own device he had more pressing matters to attend to. That man...something told him he should be afraid. Glaring up at him he bared his fangs as he flew up at him to match swords with him as he raised his own and brought it up and over his shoulder ready to swing. Grasping the hilt with both hands he let his second sword return to flames and surround his good arm forming a shield of sorts. Looking one more at him he watched his movements carefully.

Before anything happened, rain drops began to fall. The dragons stopped what they were doing to look up at the rolling thunderheads in awe and obedience. One by one, they turned into comet shaped streaks of light and vanished into the clouds, never to be seen again. Kai looked up as the raindrops fell on him. Instead of turning into light and leaving with the dragons, the lock that he wore on a chain around his neck lifted up and changed shape, from a circular form to a diamond shape. He blinked, and the blank look was gone from his face.
Kai looked down at his sword, then realized he was still in the air and was falling rapidly. He beat his wings quickly to break his fall and managed to land on his rear end, safetly but just a little battered. "Ow... what happened? Is the thing over? Where the hell am I?" He started muttering to himself... "Man... I'm famished! I feel like I haven't eaten in nine days... oh yes, I haven't... wonder where her highness is... " He began to walk away, shrugging lightly at the landscape, which seemed to be rebuilding itself by some invisible force.
