Raph sighed as he faded into light. He appeared in a tree, still transparent and concealed. He shot an arrow, becoming solid only after the arrow was launched. It was going right at Richard, who was now in mid-air. It was going to be hard to dodge.

Richard's eyes widened. He hadn't known angels could do that. He let out an agonizing yell as an arrow struck him in his side, close to his heart. He howled as he hit the opposite tree, falling through the branches and hitting the ground with a dull thud.

Raph gasped as he saw Richard hit the ground. He had never meant to do such harm. He jumped down and ran over. He began to chant, stopping to say, "Healing Circle!" A circle of blue glowing light formed around them both, healing their wounds. The arrow faded and the skin was left fresh and unscathed. "There, all better." Raph said, now standing up.

"What a foolish choice" Richard whispered, slowly getting to his feet and drawing out another dagger. "Vampires have their own sort of healing, you see?" He cut his palm. Within seconds it healed. "Naturally it wavers for certain situations...." He suddenly lunged forward.

Raph grabbed Richard's right arm, twisting it and locking the joint. He then forced him to the ground, pinning his left shoulder blade with his knee. He had Richard trapped. "Angels have superior reflexes and healing powers of their own. Especially a Seraphim. You are lucky I don't kill you here and now." He said coldly, keeping Richard pinned to the ground.

Richard pulled, letting out a small gasp of pain.
"Your kind is too good to kill." He snapped. "You can try to kill me, I don't mind actually, it probably won't work...just to prove you are capable of such acts!"
Richard turned his head and spat towards his feet.

Raph's body turned ethereal, his grip loosened, he let Richard go. "You are right. I cannot. I will not." He became ghastly. He floated over to James, protecting him. "I will not, however, allow you to hurt this man, he is my only ally in this fight against darkness. He is too important to risk. If you do attack him, then I will not hesitate to stop you." Raphael said to Richard, his voice a whisper now.

"James? Important!?" Richard let out a barking laugh, looking at him.
"Oh dear..." He smirked, standing. "My brother is anything but important or useful, I assure you."
"Watch it, Richard." James hissed at him, pulling out a small dagger of his own. Richard merely laughed, shooting the other vampire, who had not even moved, a dirty look. "Whatever you say." Richard turned around, fading from James line of sight.

dread simply laughed as he saw the blade at him," i may be weakened... but you wonty hold me down.. SHADOW SOLDIER" dread yelled, his hole body including the blades turned into a shadow, the knife went right through, his body seeped into the ground and he had dissappeared, he headed back to his clan in the underground shadow woporld

Jade looked up. She had been lost in her own thoughts when the other lycan passed, but when she heard Kieth's voice, her train of thought had been derailed. "Who are we? What a question..." Jade found it difficult to tolerate the attitudes of the people down here. "Soldiers. We are here to join the fight..." she said simply, meeting the eyes of the other lycan with a cold stare.

Seeing the lycan grab his dagger Keith reached for his Shotgun, "That wouldn't be a wise decision especialy if your thinking of using it on Miss Jade here." Keith said a smile coming across his face as he held his shotgun.

A white mist began to swirl, forming a vortex. Raphael appeared in the middle of this vortex, his hand outstretched with a covering of white flame. Trees began to lean twards Raph, rocks rolled very quickly into the vortex. The rocks burst into flames as they reached the middle, turning directly into ash. The vortex shifted its strength and began to pull at Richard.

Jade's grip on her staff tightened. She gave Kieth a quick look of gratitude, even though they both knew she could defend herself quite well. "What is it with you people?!" she asked, turning on the other lycan once more with a look of annoyance in her eyes. "This attacking for no reason stuff is getting really old..."

Richard let out a hiss, turning and fleeing. Looks like he wouldn't get his way this time. He would have to keep an eye on those angels though, especially that strong one... He ran through the trees, as silent as a shadow, as fast as any wolf.
