Shaydra leapt to the top of the stairs quickly. She whipped out the key, inserted it in the door, and turned it. The door opened with a creaky click. Inside was comfortable enough, but with only two beds. A small bathroom was visible through a barely opened side door. There was also a very large desk that took up one third of the room, manned by four wooden chairs. On top, a small lantern surrounded by a few papers perched. Light shone through a very large window on the opposite wall. Shaydra turned to Falcor. "This is a nice room, but there are only two beds; I suppose two of us will be sleeping on the floor. Pass me my bag, there are a few expensive things in it, not to mention my personal objects."

"I could have gotten two rooms, Shey." Falcor handed her the bag and sat down in a chair. He looked around the room and was content. "What do we do now?"

Shaydra grabbed the bag and slung it on her shoulder. "No need, whenever I go to human towns I usually sleep on the ground and save a few coins. No need to change that; I can always sleep on this floor." Rolling her shoulders, she added, "Do you have an alternative human name? Names aren't too important, but they tend to stick in people's minds. We'll go around town, ask a few questions about the war, and maybe buy a few trinkets. There is also a...friend I'd like to meet in this town."

Falcor nodded and looked out the window, "Call me Peter. Or if you can come up with something, last time I used this body, I didn't need a name." He shrugged and got up, digging through his pockets for coins. You could hear small clinking sounds and he smiled.

"Alright, let's go..Grandpa Peter." she laughed. "Off we go then." She went out and started climbing down the stairs. "Do you want to meet my friend first, or would you rather eat something? I'm partial to either."

"Lets go meet your friend, eating can wait." Falcor shuffled out of the room and down the stairs. He signaled Shaydra to go first and he followed her out the door.

Tyro and Sigilos stayed out of sight from the Town and its people. "I don't know very much about Elves, but what I said to Shaydra and Falcor just came to me. It felt right to says it." Tyros says

They walked through town, looking for a certain building. "There it is!" Shaydra exclaimed, pointing to a large building. "The homeless refugees of war stay there to recapturate. My friend is in there as passing." They walked inside. There were a few men, women, and children inside, talking and eating. "The rooms are in the back," Shaydra told Falcor. She walked up to the person who was passing food out and said, flipping a golden coin over, "I would like a glass of milk and some bread, please, and my grandfather can order whatever he wants." The man brightened and tucked the coin in a bag. He passed Shaydra milk and bread, saying, "Food for you, bright young girl." He asked Falcor, "What will you have, sir?"

Shaydra wolfed down the bread. "I'm no plant eater, and although I like eating it occasionally, The taste is wierd to me," she explained. She eyed the milk. "Milk really isn't for dragons, and this is my first time trying it..." She took a sip and her eyes widened. "This is not half bad! Tastes a little like a cow's hindquarter..." She gulped down the rest of it, and then she started blinking rapidly, but shook her head. "Now, let's find my friend." She scanned the building.

*Ok, so you have a inert knowledge of languages. That makes some sense, plenty of dragons have that ability. I don't, but as far as I know, it manifests itself when it's needed. I can teach you about other abilities, though. We should start with Shifting. Shifting is an ability not born to all dragons, only a few races can use it. White and Gold are two of those. Shifting means the power to change your shape to whatever you wish, you can change a single aspect of yourself such as making your wings bigger or your claws harder, or you can change yourself on a larger scale, such as Shifting to a different kind of body. That means Shifting to something like an otter, a human, a hawk, or even things like trees and rocks. I think it would be best to stick with living things first, nonliving things like rocks are harder, and you shouldn't try those until your more experienced. For now, lets start with small Shifting.*
He held out on paw, and Shifted his claws. They slowly grew in length and size.
*First, try your claws on one paw. Imagine your claws growing, becoming longer and larger.*

Tyros held out his claws and pictured his claws growing bigger. Nothing happened. Focusing harder, Tyros pushed his energy, making it move to his claw. Grinting from the effort, Tyros managed to make his claws grow bigger, longer, sharper. "I did it!" Tyros exclaims. Focusing again to make his claws return to normal, with about the same amount of effort, he got them to return. "Magna Draconus, thats difficult." Tyros says, tiredness in his voice.

Falcor nodded, "Who just is this friend of yours you keep talking about?" He looked around the building and no one looked out of the ordinary.

Shaydra looked around with Falcor. "Ah.. he has a way of blending in with the shadows. Then, of course, He might not be here yet. We're a few hours early. I expected to reach here a bit later in the day." The doors of the building suddenly opened. There in the doorway stood a heavily armed black dragon who had an evil air. He seemed almost menacing and his arms, legs, and snout were riddled with small spikes. A small bag that wrapped around his waist was, at closer expection, bristling with shruikans, knives, and daggers. Two katanas crisscrossed his back, sheathed for the moment. He looked around with his dark blue eyes and spotted Shaydra. Not saying a word, he walked to the counter to order something. "That's the friend I was talking about," Shaydra said quietly. "He will give us some information and maybe some items."

Falcor nodded, a little surpirsed. He could not take his eyes off the black dragon. He said to Shaydra, "How long have you known this guy? He looks evil.."
