"Ah, I see." Irene smiled. She knew no one would see it, but did it anyway. She knew that Alluri heard about the missing princess as well, and hoped that things wouldn't get more complicated.

Irene knew she was right. She had no doubt she could hold off monsters and other threats, but Irene had a time limit. And she was never out of the town before. She needed direction. "All right, care to be my escort then Alluri?" Irene had been the Phantom bandit for quite a few months now for her town. Not one job went unfinished. She wasn't going to fail a packaging job, which she thought would be the easiest job in her career.

Rogar stood quietly off to one side as the conversation went on. He was never one for big groups, and more people kept coming. But there was something about the Phantom Bandit that convinced Rogar to stay. He interrupted the converastion "If we want to make it to to mountains by nightfall, we should leave now. The night creatures are coming out, and we may have a tougher time getting there."
