Kaiya lay on the bed, wondering why she'd gotten a room so early. She glanced down at her arm. "Why do I bother with this bandage?" She ripped it off and examined the cut. "A scratch," she declared. It wasn't, really. Andshe knew it. It was about an eighth of an inch deep and fiv einches long. "At least it stopped bleeding," she muttered, grabbing more bandaging out of her pack and putting it on. Even if it didn't hurt, she got stared at enough. Her scar and clothes got her more than enough attention, etter not to have yet another thing maknig people remember her. She lay back and quickly fell asleep, though she wasn;t really tired.
Kyna sat down on a chair in the front room of the inn. She had absolutely nothnig to do. Her books were interesting, yes, but Kyna could only sit still for so long. She hummed softly to herself, her favorite song. After a few minutes, she stood up, ready to go back to her room, to see if the wind wanted to gather any information for her. "It really is amazing," she murmured to herself, thinking of all the things she'd learned from the times she'd sent the wind to gather information. When she started to walk, she almost ran right into Sora. "Oh! Sorry!" she said. "I wasn't looking where I was going."

Sora smiled. "Quiet alright." He said, the kit comming to his feet and looking happily up at the girl that petted it.
"So where did you get to? If you don't mind me asking that is..." Sora then asked watching her. The air slightly tinged with the fight from before around her.

"Oh, I went to a bookstore," Kyna replied. "I got three new books. I was looking for them everywhere, before. Now that I found them, I can get others that I've been putting off." She reached down to pet Griffin. Calm down, she snapped at the wind. You've done thing slike that before. "Anything interesting happen while I was gone?"

"Really? What on?" He asked curiously. Then watching her go to pet the Kit. The scent suddenly discipating. As if the wind suddenly blew it away. interesting... Sora thought.
"Nothing much really... A girl showed up to rent a room." Sora said. The kit purring at the petting it was getting.

"They're all on different things," Kyna replied, looking up at him. "One's fantasy--you know, how life would be if no one ever had magic?--one is a history of another country whose name I can't even pronounce and won't try, and the last one is a biography." She smiled at Griffin and, hoping to divert Sora's attention from the last book, remarked, "He's really friendly." Her wind had escaped outside, where it wouldn't be scolded. Frustrating, stupid, semi-animate thing, Kyna thought. It'd be back before she went to sleep, she knew, but she still got annoyed when it acted like a spoiled... well, cat. "Maybe that's why I like cats," she mused aloud to herself, smiling.

"Hmm... Life without magic... much simpler in some ways..., history... always interesting to learn..., as for biography... I wouldn't know unless i knew who it was about" Sora said, counting them off on his fingers. Then winking at her with the last.
He then smiled and chuckled. "Aye the kit is very friendly. At least til it starts causing trouble." He then said with a wink at the kit. Knowing the history that the two of them had been through.
The kit purred, and slightly smiled in a cat like way. Purring then even more as it was skritched behind the ears.
Then when Sora heared what she murmered, he crouched down. Petting the kit as well, he then looking at her, and into her eyes. "How much do you like cats?" he then asked inocently enough. The kit discreatly rolling it's eyes.

"Life without magic is hard to imagine," Kyna responded. "I don't know how these people think of it. History is an all right subject. I only like that country's history. The rest of it, I don't really care about." She pointedly ignored his last remark about her books. "I like cats very much," Kyna said. "They've got such... iteresting personalites. Reminds me of a friend of mine, who I left behind." The wind outside howled at her not-quite-subtle threat. Shut up! Kyna yelled at it. It quieted slightly, but was still restless. She sighed softly.

Sora smiled at her, still petting the kit. "Oh I think it would be interesting. I think if it ever happened, people really wouldn't know what exscactly to do." He said quietly. Then sitting down all the way, and leaning against the desk, watching her pet the kit. The kit rolling over in the end, so she could rub it's belly.
"Aye... That they do. How do they remind you of your friend?" He then asked. "That is if you don't mind me asking..." He then added, slightly thinking of Eli.

"Well, most cats act spoiled and fickle," Kyna started. " No offense, Griffin. And they can also turn against the people that trust them." Hear me? she shot at the wind, which was still acting up a bit. "Then again, maybe I've just met the wrong cats." She shrugged, looking up at Sora.

Spoiled and Fickle!?!?!!? Turn on people!?!!? Sora and the kit thought to each other at almost the same time, in shock. They then looked at each other trying not to laugh as well then.
"Oh I don't know about that. Kit is very loyal. We've always been like that to one another. I think it's mostly because we're the only one we have left for each other." Sora said quietly looking down at the floor sadly. Suddenly his thoughts full of family and Eli. Quickly he shook his head to get them out. Suddenly then seeing the kit watching him, with a look of sadness in it's own eyes.
"I think so... all the ones that i know aren't like that really..." he then said, looking up as well, and deeply into her eyes.

Kyna shrugged, looking at the floor. She didn't much like eye contact. "All the ones I've met are like that," she said softly. She stood up. "Like I said, I must've met the wrong ones. So, where were you all afternoon?" she asked, to change the subject.

"Me? Well... kit and i found this hill behind the inn and we went to go take a nap... then like i said this girl showed up, so we took care of that, and then ran into you..." Sora said, the kit nodding in agreement, but also once again thinking of the things it could do.
Then Sora watched her for a moment. Then looked down at the floor.
"I'm sorry... I think I made you a little uncomfertable, and I didn't mean to..." He then said, realizing that she didn't want to be on the subject.

Kyna shook her head. "It's nothing, really," she assured Sora. She smiled slightly. "Just bad memories." She shook her head slightly to clear it. "Did you like the nap? I took one, too, I'll confess. Lying down while reading isn't the best habit I've ever picked up," Kyna admitted, grinning.

Blackfeather stretched as she turned back into a human. She smiled as she realized she still had her too fancy for her personality dress on. She opened the door and shut it quickly locking it behind her and snuck into Cat's room. Everyone was sleeping still since it still was early morning, everyone but Miss Cat. "Hey Yu, I need another outfit this is too fancy of my taste" She said quietly.
Cat looked up at her and smiled. "I have some clothers that you like in my closet. I saw them and though Blackfeather." She said with a whisper as well. She was preparing breakfest and was already in a beautilful midnight purple dress that had a big white bow tied aroun the waist. Her hair tied up in a matching bow as well.
Blackfeahter went into Cat's room and saw what she meant. It was a dark red top covered with a fancy like black corset black pants and some black velvet boots with silver rings down the sides connected whth two strips of black velvet. She came back out with the outfit on and her hair down, her cross still around her neck. "I like..." She said playfully.

Kai had transformed into a wolf out of habit while she slept. She had just woken up and would have slept longer if it weren't for the smell of food cooking. She curiously sniffed the air, as she lazily crawled out from underneath her warm blanket. Making her way to the dresser, she quickly morphed back into her human form as she arrived in front of the dresser. She opened it as she pulled out her kimono she had placed in there before she went to bed.
Slipping out of her pj's and into her normal clothes, she then proceeded to make her way out of the room and down the hall. She had already carefully placed her dagger back into the sleeve of her kimono, along with any of her other hidden weapons.
