A neko... Calm down Fen! The dog had gone crazy as soon as he saw the hybrid.
"Hyet!" The angel shouted, and the dog instantly came to his side, calm and submissive.
"Help us, please!" He pleaded, and tried to wave away some of the smoke, which was futile.

Kaori growled and kept her fangs bared as she stepped closer keeping her eyes on the wolf. She knelt beside the man and looked at him her eyes no longer watching the wolf,"I'm going to try and help, please stay calm." Kaori explained as she placed her hands on the log and closed her crimson eyes and slowly froze the log. "Can you break it now,sir?"Kaori asked.

"Let's hope so... I'd rather not have alot of broken fingers." The angel said with a bit of sore humor. He brought down his fist, though it looked like it took alot of effort to break it was extremely simple, and broke the log just enough to stand up. Fen, ever weary of the Neko, but not willing to chance attacking it with Loki around, followed suit.
"Thank you. I'm Loki and this is Fen."

Kaori nodded,"I'm Kaori."Kaori side glanced at Fen and kept a soft growl to herself her muscles tensing slightly,'Something isn't right here....what though?'Kaori asked herself and then looked back a Loki.
"I guess you were in the wrong spot at the wrong time?"Kaori asked him trying to brush off her uneasy feeling.

Irene was in the background this whole time. It wasn't the man who killed her parents, so Irene had no reason to be suspicious of him. SoIrene smiled. "Oh, and I'm Irene. Do you know what caused this to happen?"

"Magic... Some sort of... I don't know, evil demon flew out of the sky. Wings, fangs, the whole nine yards. Started throwing fire everywhere. I've never seen anything like it."
Loki kept a hand on the top of Fen's head. He had made a mistake, though small now, if anyone found out later, it could be devastating. He had used his Norse name, Loki with the girls... Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Irene perked up a bit. "Did he have short back hair and blue eyes?! Which way did he go?!"

Hmm... An oppurtunity...
"Yes... Yes he did! He went east... and flew until I couldn't see him any more. It was probably... A two or three days walk from here."
Loki grinned. He loved his heightened sense of hearing.
"Of course, if you wish to give chase, we could ride Fen." Aubrey glanced from the Neko, to the wolf.
"Fen," He said in a different accent, "Ayat congfigure lose. Nyet!"
The wolf barked, in agreement of course. Fen opened his mouth, and flames poured out, engulfing him, and when the dissapated, Fen was three times as large, easily able to sit three. Or two, with the Neko as tense as she was.
(I need to make another character... Good this time, I'm bad at playing a killer >.>)

Irene jumped a bit. "Great, more surprises. But as long as it gets me to that killer I'm fine with it." Irene walked fearlessly to the man. But she paused and looked him up and down. "You're not human either are you? But you're not a neko... Whatever. Just take me to the man that did this please."

Kaori shook her head,"I don't wish to leave you alone, Ms.Irene, but I can't go with you. Please be careful, Ms.Irene."Kaori bowed. To her everyone was a superior and should be treated and talked to as so.
Kaori glared slightly at Fen and kept herself from growling and simply watched as they got ready. [sounds good to me, Im not good with evil characters either.^^]

((I am, but I always have a good character as well to balance me out. Eventually 'my parents killer' will be made. You'll see just how evil I can be, mwahaha. blaugh ))
Irene looked to Kaori. "You don't have to call me ms. Just Irene will be fine, we're all friends here. Otherwise I feel like I'm being called old."

(I can't sleep D=, and the Fox Demon's name is... Um... Ah, Lucian =D )
The wreckage was dreadful. The whole town was torn basically to shreds. Not one survived, not even the local Cleric. Lucian sighed. Useless... Then he caught a scent. Demon... He morphed in to his fox form, and hid under a burnt body, blending rather nicely with the charred bones on his black fur.

Loki sighed, "If you do not mind, Ms. Irene," He used that to intentionally bug, whether it worked or not he didn't know, "We should catch you parents killer." Would she notice that he hadn't been told this information? He probably should think of an alibi... Quick.
