patteric Kirara. can i get any reccomendations for a new book? the Ultramariens series and space wolves series are exelent reading ultramarines seemed to be a bit over powered....

DarkElf27 Kirara. why? you just typed that he doesnt do anything.... <.< The souls are used to power navigation through the warp, and to do navigation. Without that, the Imperium would fall apart into thousands of seperate factions, and thus, crumble. Actually, the Emperor doesn't want to be kept alive. In fact, if he were to finally he'd be able to take all of Chaos with him kicking and screaming. Leaving the foolish humans ripe for the picking of the C'tan in their midst.

patteric the Ultramariens series and space wolves series are exelent reading I've read a number of the Space Wolves novels and I will second the recomendation. THey were excellent.

Gaunt Ghosts : Series Grey Knight : Only one book now but another is coming out Space Wolves : Series Ureil Ventris : Series Caiphus Cain : Series Bringers of Death : A short story book Eisenhorn : Series

Gaunt's Ghost's, Double Eagle, Storm of Iron, Riders of the Dead, Geneivive and Slayer books are all great books

I loved Ben Counter's Grey Knights, its what got me into 40k in the first place. Lord of the Night is another good one.
Oh and about the EMperor, if he were to die, the star child might be born, and therefore rape all the c'tan and chaos gods. Although the c'tan would kick our a** cause of "the dragon" and the 4 dark gods are breaking the Emperor's mind, so unless the Emperor dies soon the Imperium is screwed.
