"Hey!" The leader shouted, since he was one of the ones who stayed, and the other man grabbed Rei's arm. "You were with that theif, aren't you? You're coming with us."
[How about nobody has told Rei that Bakura's the Theif King and all yet?]

Reis eyes widen and she quickly pulled away.With the wayy bakuratalked about the pharoh and his servents she wanted nothing to do with them "Let me go!"

"As if we would." The man snorted, and glanced up when his three men came back. "Where'd he go?" The shrugged and mumbled something about losing him. "Dammit. Well, he wasn't Bakura. Remember: he's who we want. We can come back once we bring this one back to the palace."

Rei continued to pull and kicked the man in the shin then behind his kneecap.Being in the sun she had a light tan but was still pale compaired to them,and still had white hair.

The leader had noticed her white hair, and that was the main reason as to why he wanted to drag her down to the palace. Usually only the very old had white hair, but Bakura-- perhaps one of the most wanted men in Egypt-- also had white hair. He slammed the handle of his spear against the girl's temple. It'd be easier to take her to the palace unconscious.

Rei gasped and feel to the ground unconscious.Her body hit the ground with a thud a bruise already forming on her temple.

The men carried her to the palace, where she was locked into a room that was much fancier than any at Bakura's place. And this room was one of the lesser ones as well. The walls were stone, but with gold edgings. Rich rugs covered the floor, and there was a wooden bed capped with cold on its edges, with plenty of cushions. Rei had been put on the bed.

Rei laid there quietly.She looked like an elaqunte doll on the bed.

The door opened and the pharaoh, Atem, entered. He waved a hand to keep his preists away, and closed the door, not locking it because he knew that they'd still be standing there. He sat down on the edge of the bed, waiting for the girl to wake up. So it was true... She had white hair exactly like Bakura. Her skin was pale, though, unlike the theif's. His guards had said that she was with a man who could have easily been merchant or a theif. Of course, an innocent man wouldn't have run.
"Please, Bakura, have mercy! If they had killed me, they'd have even more time! There was no way I could have handled five of the pharaoh's trained guards!" Ahm pleaded, on his hands and knees, facing the dirt underneath him. Bakura was raging with anger.
"You could have brought her with you, you idiot!" Bakura snarled, pacing back and forth. Nobody, nobody, not even the pharaoh himself, took what was Bakura's. He grit his teeth together. "Get the others ready. We're going to the palace."

Rei slowly streched groaning "Oh my f*cking head..." she muttered at first in japanese.She opened her eyes and blinked sitting up rubbing her head. "Assholes" she muttered now in arabic rubbing her sore head.

"I'm sorry for the way my guards treated you." Atem said, tilting his head slightly to the side. "They were only doing their job. Perhaps I should inform them not to be so rough. But, it seems, you fought back."

Rei jumped slightly when she heard atem.She turned twards atem looking him over on her face "So your the pharoh.." she said with a scowl on her face.

Atem gave a small smile. "Indeed I am. And you must have met Bakura, true?" This was just a way for him to tell if she was linked to Bakura in some way. She seemed foreign to the land; he had heard her say something, and she had an odd accent. This was all on top of her oddly-shaped eyes, pale hair, and pale skin. A lot of people, theives especially, disliked him just for being pharaoh.
