I saw Pirates of the Caribbean and Johnny Depp became pretty much my favorite actor ever.

My sister would watch him everyday when I was a child and grew out of him when she met her husband in high school. I never knew his name till PotC. I never really noticed him till then. Then I saw all his old movies and realized I was a fan of his all my life. sweatdrop

the first movie I saw with him in it would be Edward Sissorhands...then Gilbert grape. so from those two movies I was pretty much addicted...then every other movie I've seen with him just added to it!

Bin777 I had seen a few of his movies before I started liking him but what got me hooked was probably pirates of the caribbean. ill have to admit, thats how i first noticed him! mrgreen

well i knew about him before pirates of the carribean but i didnt have a huge crush him. then i saw the movie and was like. SO HOTT!

i watched him severel times as a child but didn't realize that it was him i had been intregued by until pirates came out. then i realized it was Johnny that i was/am in love with and began to watch everything he was in, or atleast everything i could get my hands on.

I first fell for Johnny Depp in Sleepy Hollow, even though I knew of him in 21 Jump Street from the 80s and Edward Scissorhands from the early 90s. *squeal*

mmmmm as much as i love Nightmare On Elm Street... i think what made me think... oooh i love this actor was Edward Scissorhands when i was a wee lass... then it went on from there.

I first saw Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm Street (opening night) with a boyfriend. I was thrilled about 21 Jump Street (am I showing my age here??) and have followed his career for a number of years. I just love his versatility! He is not afraid to conquer new characters. I love that he is gutsy and sexy.

As I saw Pirates of the Caribbean I found Captain Jack Sparrow sooooo cool that I decided to know more about the actor. From that moment on I started watching all Johnny's films I could, I now I'm making a collection of DVDs! I also made a speech about him in my English class at shool once, hehe whee

i think my first movie of his was potc..i thought it was enchanting..so i started looking for all of his movies and i was hooked. he has such an awesome style that he just fits everywhere. some of my favourites are chocolate, benny and joon and potc of course and sleepy hollow

Haha....I am ashamed to say that I hadn't even heard of him until Pirates of the Carribean. However, I instantly loved him and soon he became one of my all-time favorite actors.

I don't know what got me hooked... When I was a kid, I used to watch What's Eating Gilbert Grape every week, but I only liked Johnny because I thought he was cool. Same thing with Edward Scissorhands, I just watched it because I liked Johnny. I never really LOVED him until PotC when I'd turned 12 and got all hormonial. Hah. I love PotC cause I've always wanted to be a pirate, but I do love Ed Wood with all my heart... So I guess Ed Wood and PotC got me hooked.

I know Edward Sissorhands came first. I don't remember which film came next, but at some point I saw a film with "the guy from Edwardsissorhands in it" and that led to another and another and another. The movies were great and his performances were such that I just kept seeking out his films.
