"Thank you, friend. I know you understand." she said softly, smiling to him cheerfully. After a moment, she took a chance, lifting his arm around her, moving closer, wrapping her arms around his waist. She wanted him to feel comforted and happy. "I am here for you friend, just as you are here for me."

When Ziven hugged him, Carus blushed brightly as he slowly wrapped his arms around her.

"That is possible .. but not when I know my friend has been injured." she said softly, smiling to him, releasing him finally. Placing her hands neatly in her lap, she continued looking out over the horizon, enjoying the view. "I very much enjoy simply spending time. Not even one word needs to be spoken."

Carus smiled and nodded as he turned his head away from the cave entrance, the sun moving to where it hurt his eyes, even through his shades.

Carus nodded and stood, and walked to the back of the small cave, the cot changing into a plush couch.

Cupping her hands, one in the other, she followed quietly, unsure if she should sit or not as he seemed to be waiting for a moment. "Resting day?" she asked in a cheerful tone, looking up to him with a smile.

"You need to recover, and I need to get my armor ready." He smiled as he sat and motioned for her to do the same. Humming softly, he reached under the couch and grabbed an ancient chest.

"I am just fine." she said cheerfully, seating herself and watching his movements. After a moment, she blushed a bit, looking almost apologetic. "Any objections if I eat? I will share, of course, but if memory serves .. you do not truly need .." she said softly trying to cover the sounds of her tummy rumbling.
