Disturbing Tale Teller Haku curled up slightly while he was moved, and then relaxed. He mumbled something incoherent under his breath as Zabuza left, but remained asleep. It wasn't until he felt a small bite to some fingers of a hand that had fallen off the edge of the couch, did he wake up.
"Hnn...?" Haku mumbled, shifting his fingers slightly and feeling a soft, furry head under his hand. He rubbed it gently, then winced as his pet gave his hand another soft nibble. "Alright, alright..." the teen mumbled, shifting to sit up. He blinked when he realized he was on the couch. He then noticed Zabuza gone, and finally noticed that the fire was starting to go out.
Shifting to sit up properly, Haku rubbed his eyes before standing. He went over to his bag and got some food out for his pet, before moving over to the fire to put a few pieces of the wood in to keep it going. Wondering where Zabuza went off to, he decided to make something to eat, and some tea, for whenever the man got back. Disappearing into the kitchen, he started doing just that. When Zabuza came back, he had some blood on him, none of it his, and a dead fox in one of his hands. All but two of his traps had been empty, one of them holding the fox and the other held a half dead man, a Hunter. He noticed that Haku was up and had been busy and he went into the kitchen to leave the animal on the counter. "Haku, when you go out today, be on your guard. I caught a Hunter last night." As Shino got to work up at the top of the hill, he kept glancing over his shoulder, partly hoping that Kiba would come bother him. He knew that there wasn't a high chance of that happening, so he didn't get his hopes up. Why am I wanting him around more? Nothing has changed, including me.

"It's nothing... really..." Naruto adverted his eyes for a moment, before looking up to Sasuke and giving almost a nervous smile. "I mean... no wonder you ate a lot... The last time I saw you eat that much was while we were training to beat Zabuza and Haku...." he bit his lip slightly, proving him to be quite much more of an emotional person since the Uchiha left, or at least a more revealing emotional person..
Haku gave a small yawn, and a small nod, showing he understood. He was working on something to do with vegitables, and then blinked when he looked at the dead fox, flinching slightly as he saw it. It was a known fact that he was an animal fan... his pet proved that. However, he understood that animals had to die so other animals, and they themselves, could survive.
"Do you want me to cook that now, Zabuza-san?" The teen asked, looking up to his master.

Zabuza gave a shrug. "It's for you, do what you want with it. I already had my meal." He'd finished off the Hunter he'd caught so he would not need to hunt again until tomorrow. He had caught Hakus look and removed the fox from the counter and set it over in the corner. "I'll take care of it later, that way you can just worry about the meat."

Haku nodded a bit, giving one distracted look to the fox, and then returning to what he was doing. The water was boiling, so he poured some into a teapot and set that aside to steep, their washed cups sitting next to it. Returning to the food, he chopped some things up and threw them into a pan, seemingly working on a vegetable stir-fry.

Sasuke sighed and huged the blond. "Naruto... I'm... Sorry you had to go through this. It's my fault.. I'm so sorry," he said. The Uchiha was starting to break down. Naruto was the only one he had now, and he was hurting him..

Naruto hugged back, burying his face into Sasuke's shoulder again. "I... worried about you..." he mumbled. "All the time I was training... all the time I was told to forget you...." he bit his lip again to keep from yet another bout of tears. This was quickly becoming a rather emotional, strange, day.
"Now that you're here... hearing about what happened, and seeing your condition... I can't help but be mad at myself for not being strong enough to beat you and bring you back, when you left...." Naruto let out a small sigh, relaxing into the hold of the other male.

Sasuke sighed as well, rubbing the blond's shoulders comfortingly. "You don't have to worry about that now. If ou keep blaming yourself, you'll get sick, and we don't want that," he said, taking Naruto's chin in his fingers and looking at him with soft eyes.

Naruto's bottom lip trembled slightly, but he gave a small nod, showing he understood. He all but melted at Sasuke's soft gaze, and soothing touch. "Promise me... again... that everything will be okay? That you won't leave again? Without me?" he asked quietly, azure orbs looking pleadingly into the Uchiha's coal black ones.

Sasuke leaned in close, his lips just a centimeter away from the blond's. "Naruto, I promise I won't leave again," he whispered, brushing his lips against Naruto's and pulling him into a tight hug.

Naruto leaned into Sasuke's hold, returning the kiss lightly. He shifted his arms to rest around the other male's neck, still being careful of the others' wounds, but hugging back tightly.

Zabuza watched Haku for a moment, then picked the fox up again, grabbed a large bowl, then headed outside to take care of it. In a few minuets he came back in with a bowl full of meat. For such a small animal it had had a lot on it, probably to help keep it warm in such cold weather. "Haku, when we're done eating, we're going shopping. You need clothes if we're going to pull this mission off."

"Yes, Zabuza-san." Haku nodded, taking the bowl from his master. He began chopping the meat up, before adding it to the pan with the vegetables, his stomach giving a soft grumble as the kitchen began smelling like food. Since the tea was done, he poured some into a cup and offered it to the other male.

Sasuke gave a small sigh while letting his hand pet the blond hair under his fingers. He gave a few small kisses the Naruto's nck before letting go. "N more crying, ok dobe?" he said.

Naruto nodded and smiled a little. "I'll try..." He murmured. He then moved to finish up dishes, glancing over to Sasuke with smiles every-so-often. When he was done, he dried off his hands and moved to finish his ramen.

Sasuke smiled as he watched him; he felt kind of happy to be spending time alone with Naruto. It made him feel calm for the most part and he liked that. He didn't have to worry about much if anything at all.
