Karite smiled, the first one came as it should and he could not see another coming. It was odd for the first time a student tried a jutsu for it to work, but stranger things had happened. Karite took his bo-staff and simply popped the shuirken in the air. The next one came so fast he almost didnt have time to react. He took his bo-staff and stabbed it into the ground catching the shuriken right in the center. "Very good Maverick, very good indeed, keep that up and teams one and two are in serious trouble for the chunin exams." Karite said handing the shuriken back to the boy.

He took them back and moved back toward the starting point. He looked up toward the sky and glared a little while. He closed his hands abit and looked to the sky. He began to put his chakra into one of the shurikens and took a deep sigh. His hand clinched the inner ring of the red shuriken and spun around quickly tossing the shuriken at the sensei. Again, the darkness of his clothes hide the movement of his second hand as he tossed the other almost immediatly after.

She lowered her head and apologized. "I'm sorry sensei...I didn't know..."She felt sorry for sensei though. She knew what it was like to lose someone you loved. She knew that feeling very well. Ame stood silently from a distance as she watched Mavric throw Suriken at sensei. Thats the Jutsu I wanted to learn in the first place...

((You have to have 10 shuriken skill, but I didnt know if you did or not because I could read your profile.))
Karite smiled at Ame, "dont you worry about it. It is something about higer ranked shinobi, they dont tend to let their past leave the past." Karite turned around just in time to flip the first shuriken around to a close and drop blade first into the ground. The next one almost took off his leg, but he flicked in Ame's direction. It pierced a tree a few inches from her head. "Sorry Ame, Maverick is getting pretty good at this."

Takara awoke from her nap. She gave a yawn as she stretched her arms above her head. She did a few stretches before continuing her push ups. Once ready, she positioned herself a few feet away from Mizu and began. She was off to a good start. She grinned.

Takara did another one. She was excited to have a good start, yet she could not help but scrunch her nose in disgust. She definitely needed a shower. Training non-stop was something she hoped she never did again, for her hygiene's sake.

Again, Takara did a push up. She was more excited as she neared the end. Next, she would learn a jutsu or two. And then some other training. Vaguely she wondered why Mizu had not woken up yet. Was there something wrong with her? Shaking it off, she returned her attention to her pushups.

Maverick moved over to the areas and picked up the two shirkiens. He glanced at them for a moment and ripped the one frm the tree. He moved back toward another area and glanced off for a moment. He stood there for a moment or two without a word and then spun around with the shurikens heading right for his teacher, again hiding one under the other a few moments behind the first one.

Takara wondered what jutsu she should learn. Kage shuriken? No, she did not have any shuriken. Shunshin? She could not help but laugh. There was no way she could learn that with her skills! She was way too slow. Suddenly, her arms slipped and she collapsed.

Takara sighed as she repositioned herself. She resisted the urge to wince as her arms stung. Instead, she continued on. However, she slipped again. Cursing, she sat up and blew at her elbows. She mentally winced as she stared at her red, cut up arms. She would need some anticeptic later.

Sighing, Takara moved into position and tried again. Once more, she failed and scraped her arms. Her eyebrows furrowed in annoyance. What was she doing wrong? All she wanted to do was finish quickly and move on to a jutsu! Takara let out a growl of annoyance. If this kept up, it would take her longer than she had hoped it would.

Again, Takara failed to do a push up. She was getting more and more annoyed. It was not supposed to be so hard! She stared down at her hands. Why was she so weak? All she wanted to do was become stronger until she found her purpose. Was she not destined to be a kunoichi? Then why did her father train her to become one?

Gritting her teeth, Takara tried once again, even though she knew it was bad for her to push her limits. Grunting, she tried to do a push up, but failed miserably as she fell like a limp doll. She drowsily wondered, Why? All I wanted... before she dosed off into a light nap. Her breathing evened out and her mind filled with dreams that she could not remember.

Takara awoke again. Without even bothering to stretched, she moved to quickly finish her pushups. She only wished her body would comply with her mind. Groggily, she ordered her body to move down. It listened to her, but not in the way she wanted it to.
