By the next morning, Rittou had already left for the compound and Kira was off to find her brother (perhaps get a good one-two-three out of that heartless b*****d while he was at it) and Hatsuyuki was fast asleep. But she stirred slightly, before sapphire blue eyes slowly opened. Almost as if semi-consciously, Hatsuyuki sat up before slipping out of bed, her bare feet lightly touching the ground. Her long black hair, let loose, trailed to her waist and the simple hospital gown flowed lightly around her ankles as she made way slowly for the door...almost somewhat doll-like.
Why is she here? Was she dead...? Strange, that the afterlife is a hospital room... Somewhere in her mind she remembered dimly of the elders, after she unknowingly drank the poison, saying something. You...must die... She remembered. But Hatsuyuki stopped short down the hallway as a voice, so familiar...but as if from a thousand years ago...reached her ears. "Sa-na-bi..." She whispered. She remembered something else now, someone carrying her quickly through the lonely streets of Kiri, with an almost frantic urgency.
A strength that wasn't Kira's. Nor her brother, who had been away for many days now. Rittou would not have the strength and the other two Chuunins that lived in the compound...the elders made sure to send the two elsewhere the previous day.
Her eyes cleared and silent tears trailed down her cheek. There could've only been one person, then... "Sanabi!" A choked sob, the tears came more freely now...and she ran to the other boy, catching him in a brace. Her frame was still slightly cold...her Hyouton limit's battle against the poison the previous night.

Sanabi was caught by surprise at first, but quickly turned to see his friend, "Suki! I'm so glad you're alright!" Without a single hesitation, he hugged her tightly. The cold seeped through even HIS clothes, which only made him hug her tighter, "I'm so glad you're alright. When I saw you all sick and being carried by Kira, I couldn't help but make sure you made it here and were alright. I even carried you most of the way. It's great to know the effort wasn't wasted!" Sanabi had a moment of sensitivity, and felt several tears run down his face, "Don't do that again, ok, Suki? You can really scare people."
Sanabi couldn't help but laugh at himself he whipped his face of any remnants of tears, then stumbled back, trying desperately to compose himself, "Ummm... yea. I'm glad you're alright, Suki." Sanabi blushed a bit, and tried to hide it behind his hand, pretending to bite his nails. Which didn't help much with his appearance either.

Hiro stumbled into the hospital with his gourd of Saki tied to his waist and no shoes nor a shirt. The boy may have been only 18 but he looked like he was 30 with the scars he carried. His face was iron set and looked as if sculpted that way when he saw Sanabi crying. Clearing his throat which sounded more like a hardened growl. Hiro tried to get Sanabi's attention without causing a stir. "Get a hold of yourself cub. You are a Tategami and we don’t cry. Crying is for the weak and emotionally gifted we are neither. Now come on we have some training you need to get done before you get to eat again." It was almost as if Hiro had done a complete personality flip but what was to be expected from him. He was Tategami Hiro; the fiercest roar in all of Kirigakure no Sato

Sanabi was a bit surprised, "Wha-" His eyes gazed at a far different Tategami then the one he had met only a couple days before, "Hiro... what happened to you?" Sanabi watched as he left, bidding him to follow. The vision of his, new found older brother seemed to be fading into something much worse then he'd hoped. This rough uncanny appearance seemed a complete opposite of the loving brother he envisioned, and even swore he met such a short time before. He looked back at Suki, and frowned, "I'm sorry Suki, I think I have to go now..."
His steps backward were quick, but hesitant, then, in a swift turn, he dashed out the door after his adoptive brother.

Hatsuyuki didn't need any words, the happy smile was enough. But rather unfortunately, this meeting would prove a short one as it would seem...a dark (pessimistic) presence made himself known. While the girl appeared calm as her brilliant sapphire-blue eyes finally landed on the newcomer, who she noted as the boy who was with her brother when he was training chakra control, though she also mused the fact how she had not felt his presence until he spoke. Also...something was quite different...and somehow...seems more battleworn, more tired than before. While a quiet nod accepted Sanabi's apology, as pensive eyes watched the two leave. ...before getting to eat again...? A slight frown tugged at the girl's lips. Wasn't that a bit harsh, even pushing the definition of training perhaps...?
Hatsuyuki attempted to follow after the two but a stern-faced nurse blocked her way. A sweatdrop appeared. And then she suddenly realized with dismay that her discharge would not be until this afternoon...cross that, in fact, it will not be until one of those doctors proclaim her well enough to be discharged. The Fubuki princess sighed softly, shaking her head slightly.

Sensei was soon in the hospital with a couple of kids behind him. He'd noticed that Sanabi had stayed behind, but didn't stop him. Sensei didn't know why. But now was not the time to think and regret decisions especially as carnage was going on outside. Nodding to the medic-nins and pushing the kids towards them, Sensei said to everybody (doctors, students, civilians), "I'm going out to fight now. You stay here. Patch up any injured." And trust me, there will be loads, Sensei thought darkly, but obviosuly did not voice that out.
"I know I haven't taught you how, but the doctors will help, and just try to learn on the job!" he ordered before running out again.

((If it's alright with Kouri-chan, I'll have a NPC ANBU-leveled enemy attack...his stats would be borrowed from my Suna ANBU's stats though (who doesn't have a kekkai genkai).))
"Nani?" Hatsuyuki bolted from her bed, rushing into the main halls where she heard Sensei yelling at a group of students following him...the medic-nins, visitors, and other patients in the background with expressions of grim understanding. The Fubuki princess tugged gently on the white hospital dress of a woman next to her. "Doshi...pardon me...might you know what's going on...?" The patient fixed her grim violet eyes on Hatsuyuki. "Whatever you do child..." She breathed. "Do not go outside." Seeing the child was about to interrupt, the woman continued. "Kiri is under siege." At this, Hatsuyuki noticeably paled. Kira was still back at the compound! Without another word and before the woman could stop her, the girl bolted for the stairs... But strong arms restrained her.
It was one of the doctors who had worked on emergency hours for her last night. "What do you think you're doing girl?" He growled. "Last night, you were poisoned! Stayed put here and do what you're told." Grim sapphire eyes eyed the older man. "Unhand me! I can't stay here, my family is still out there!" "What can a powerless child do? Leave that to the Jounins!" Hatsuyuki glared at the doctor, sapphire eyes burning with anger. "The Jounins of this village..." She began darkly but pointedly. "Does not have the bare remote idea how to enter my clan's grounds. Now unhand me!"

A strong scared hand grabbed the girl firmly and squeezed. Not giving a damn about her injuries he slung her back. "Look here damn it. We have enough to worry about without you getting in the way. If anyone can get into you clans grounds and back out without harm its a Kiri Shinobi. Now stay put. He said the Jounins have it. Do what you can for your village and help with the injured." Turning to the rest of the students he snapped his fingers. "We dont have time to sit here like little children. You have five seconds to grow up real quick. Welcome to the life a shinobi." The man that stood before them was none other then Zaku Tomaru one of the youngest cheif surgeons and the head of the kirigakure hospital. He was not going to have anymore deaths then he needed to because some girl needed her family to be ok. If they were truly Shinobi of the mist they would be fine. They were not weak like the leaf village.

Bunshin no Jutsu:
This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. In certain years, Ninja are required to know this jutsu in order to advance to the Genin level. Bunshin no Jutsu creates one or more clones of the user, which can be used as a means to create a diversion, distraction, or cause confusion. Unlike Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger), these illusory clones will simply disappear if come into contact, thus, they are without substance, and cannot do anything to damage the opponent.

Requirements: Academy students learn it on the academy as a basic jutsu.
Training days: Academy. Chakra control check DC: 5 per bunshin.
Special: Can create 1 per 5 points in Chakra control. Up to 5 bunshin can be created.
*The user assigns a number 1 through 6 to themselves and each of their clones indivudually. The attacker rolls a 6 sided die to see what they hit.
The Intelligence check DC to see through an attacker's bunshin is the 1/2 the attacker's int mod + half the attacker's chk mod.
Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)
The user utilizes the sheep hand seal or the tiger hand seal and concentrates their chakra to assume the appearance of another person, an animal, or even any object. This is one of the required basic jutsu taught at the Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninjas know this technique.

Kawarimi no Jutsu (Replacement Technique)
This is a technique that usually confuses the attacker. The user quickly projects themselves with another nearby object such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack.

Nawanuke no Jutsu (Rope Escape Technique)

Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)
A high-speed movement technique. It is described as 'appearing with the wind and disappearing like the wind.' A very basic jutsu, it appears that most shinobi above Genin-rank know it. Using chakra to activate the body, the user is able to move from one point to another with extreme speeds. This super-fast movement is almost impossible to see with the naked eye. To a normal person, it would seem as if the user has teleported. The amount of Chakra used depends on the distance and elevation between the user and the destination.

Reflex DC: 10 + Character level + chakra mod for half damage. Neutral 20 or surpassing the save by 10 means no damage.

Special: Uchihas learn this at young age. This does not mean that Uchiha starting out will have this jutsu.
Katon: Haisekishō, (Fire Release: Ash Product Burning)
Unlike other fire-based jutsu, this jutsu allows the user to breathe out a cloud of superheated ash capable of causing third-degree burns. Because it is ash and not flame, the ash remains in the air around the target, and therefore remains potent for a longer period.

Katana: The katana is the most artistic and well crafted sword in all the world. Midori quickly ran inside the hospital taking a deep breath. She looked around a bit confusedly. Soon enough it dawned on her that she had to patch up the injured. She still contained her serious look as she glanced around and saw a surgeon. Her face uplifted into a smile as she looked at him. Even if she was one of the weaker students in all of the academy, Medical stuff interested her. She didn't think that helping the injured would be that hard. But as always she had the gut feeling inside her that told otherwise.

With a couple of other shinobi, Sensei stood guard at the door of the hospital. Other shinobi had been dispatched to guard the other exits but since this was the biggest it would also be the most fortified. Sensei did not have his katana out, but his hand was resting on it. He hoped to get the first enemy with Iajutsu, or the art of the draw. He was concentrating on nothing but the sounds of the army coming closer and closer.

Obviously, had the army been comprised of those from Suna and other villages, the counter attack and defense of the hospital would be that much easier. Think about it; to attack someone from another country, a person you don't even know, is relativly easy compared to having to attack someone who might have just served you lunch 5 hours ago. Someone that put out the fire in your house for you. Someone who saved your life when you were younger. Yep, much easier.
To bad Rain didn't give the people of kiri this option. As the hospital was most assuredly secured and preping for an invasion, there was no way they could have forseen this kind of army. Over the horizon, as the night sank in, the glimmer of Kirigakure headbands and clothing could be seen. But they were not there to give support. Instead, they had fallen under Rain's command. Quite a small force compared to the thousands that had assaulted the village at first. This crew of maybe 100 at best was still lined with Mist Shinobi of all ranks as well as innocent bistandards that had no problem being used as human sheilds or even kamakaze bombers when under the command of their mistress.
The army began to draw closer, backed by a few lines of Suna Shinobi who would be ready to give aid when needed. This wasn't looking good at all.
Of course, Rain cursed under her breath as she was heading someplace completly different. She so wanted tos ee the blood and the bodies pile up. Oh well.

Zaku brushed past hospital staff and students and patients as he made his way to the door. Sliding out from under his sleeves were two scalpes. While he was no Shinobi no one was going to smash his home nor his hospital. Standing firm his blue hair whipping in the wind he slightly sighed looking at the man next to him. "I hope your ready. I dont want to have to sew you back up."
