Menefre looked over at the blonde, his eyes bright. "I know, right? They're all so amazing!" He grinned, showing barely pointed incisors, and his wings flexed again in obvious excitement.

Javet was the first to notice the blue clad comrade, though his tendency to growl at the first anything that came near his younger sibling was put off by the obviously easy manner of the gentleman. Not to mention he too seemed just just as distracted with the bright colours and pleasent aromas of the confectionary store as Viola. He recognised the childish grin and rolled his eyes. "Two kids in a candy store.." He muttered, easing back to the chaired area to watch and wait for when he wasmore needed.
Wide eyes met Menefre's, glazed over in awe to find a fellow Connoisseur of sweet delights. Viola nodded her head energetically, her pigtails bobbing up and down with her. "Yeah! Oh, have you tried this one? Or this one..oh, look at that one!" It was obvious that despite the new friend Viola was still just as interested in the boxed deserts, pointing to anything that looked pleasent. Not because she had tried them herself, but because she wanted another's opinion on which was best. Of course the rounded ones in the shapes of strawberies did nothing to keep her interested in any other more than a few seconds.

Adrian looked up from over the top of the book, not that it was hard. "Mm. Literally, or figuratively?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at Javet before glancing at the two at the counter.
Menefre pointed at one. "That one looks like something I used to eat at home!" He exclaimed. "And this one looks very different from anything I've seen..." He pointed at another, pursing his lips. He wiggled his hips again, before pointing to yet another. "And that one looks really good! Doesn't it? He looked at Viola, still grinning.

Javet turned to meet Adrian, quirking an eyebrow at the unsolicited invitation of a conversation, but meeting it none the less. "I suppose both..." He mused, thinking on his words. "I do call Viola 'kid sister' so I suppose the phrase may apply to her. I can't speak for her new aquaintance." Javet let his eyes wander back tot he duo before taking the seat in front of Adrian's, noticing the book which looked more enticing than any of the other displays in the shop. "Good read?"
Following his fingers Viola exclaimed at the same things which caught his attention, not having seen them before. She snugled in closer to him, trying to see over his shoulder at the other things she had yet to take a peek at. "There's so many, I want to try them all!" She managed to get out, laying eyes on the one he had pointed out. "They should give out free samples." Her tone dropped to an octave just higher than a whine. She didn't want to seem petualant. "I wonder how many Javet might buy me..." She pasued, turning to the winged man. "I don't suppose your brother's buying you sweet too is he?"

"It's...The Marble Faun, by Nathanial Hawthorne. Most people don't like it. It's a good read to me but...others might disagree." Adrian said, after a pause. He offered out the book.
Menefre laughed and shook his head. "Oh no. I'm buying them for myself! Though I'm going to get some for my brother. He's not here now..." Menefre closed his eyes and his fingers seemed to glow a moment, before he giggled. "He's far too entertained with his own things to put up with me right now."

"Romance?" Javet replied, a smile tugging at his lips. Though by no means as a jest, rather that he was not one to understand thenature of romance itself. He read Romance and comedy much the samely, both usually beyond his own understanding. All the same he devoted some time to the blurb, flipping through the first chapter and random intervals before placing it back down. "Do you always take books with you when you go out?" At the moment Javet became distracted with an at odds light source, he looked over his shoulder at Viola and saw the reason. "Strange fellow..." He thought, though no danger was on today's agender so it was no threat.
The glowing fingertips proved to hold Vivi's attention for longer than anything else in the room, not boxed, laced and sugary. She stared for a moment before reaching out and touching the stranger's fingers. "Are they meant to do that?" While not unused to strange happenings the sudden emergence of a new 'gifted' friend had startled her. For the first time she took in his appearance. "You have wings and a tail too!" She commented at last, halting her fingers as they automatically stretched out to touch the appendages.

Adrian's cheeks colored for a moment, but he shook his head. "It seems more like a tragic romance, really. And even then, not so romantic. Such is the way of Hawthorne. And I do. The feel of the pages, the smell of the paper..." He looked off, sighing, and glanced at the counter again. "This Underground is an odd place."
"Uh huh! I'm a demon, just like daddy and my brother and all my other brothers and sisters!" His grin faded suddenly and he ducked his head, blushing as if embarrassed.. "But my momma was a mortal. So I'm not very good..."

Razor Sharp Kisses "Well that's certainly interesting," she replied, watching him thoughtfully. "How were you able to say exactly as I have said previous?" Anastasiya held onto her own sweets with one hand, gently leading the other out of the store with her free arm. "Where do you live?" Marionette looked confused, but his eyes shined with excitement. "Live..." he started, his tone dropping. He looked horrified, sad, and happy at the same time. He glanced back to Anastasiya, leaning towards her with a nod. "I live. I am... alive!" he exclaimed.

The corner of Javet's smiles creased in a wide smile and he laughed heartily. "Not so strange as it could be." was his only reply
Viola had heard of demons, especially now that two of her roomates were of that kinda. Javet also told her stories from his travels about demons or daemons or 'underworld beings'depending on which story was being told. Neither demon had wings and a tail though. In fact the one with wings and a tail called himself something completely different so it made no difference to her. "I'm sure you're fine!" She reassured."I'm a mortal, noithng too bad about me...I think." She reasoned, taking the belittling of mortals without insult. She hadn't even registered it as one.
Across the counter a woman walked over to the pair, a beaming smile on her rosey cheeked face. "Can I get you two doves anything today?"

This is true." Adrian said, smiling as he set down his book.
Menefre brightened, looking at the woman and telling her what he wanted, all-too-cheerfully. He reached into his pocket to pull out a wallet to pay for it. "It's a little much, 'cause I like sweets!" He half sang, straightening up.

He glanced back to Anastasiya, leaning towards her with a nod. "I live. I am... alive!" he exclaimed. "Good, good," the woman smiled, slightly confused now. "Do you have a home, is what I meant, I do suppose," Anastasiya went on, raising an eyebrow slightly as she watched his expression. "As in, where I should I take you to, darling? Of course, I would like to bring you home with me, but..."

"No home," Marionette told her, shaking the boxes slightly as he stopped walking to look at her. "I do not have a home," he continued, his expression void of any certain emotion.

"So where do you hail from?" Javet asked nonchalantly. The man before him did not seem wholy suited to the underground but it was possible that javet was wrong. Not often, but possible.
Deliberating for a few seconds Violet bit her lower lip before pointing at several various displays and asking for small amounts from each. Some were weighed others just scanned at a base retail price for the packaged amount. Violet's eyes grew more sparkling and she watched them being passed towards her.
"Javet?" For the first time she noticed he was no longer behind her, turning to see him sitting opposite another man engaged in conversation. "Oh." Shre said, looking a little lost. It was very rude to interuppt a person's conversation but it meant being rude to the shop lady by postponing the sale. "I er..."

"Then, where did you come from just now before entering this place?" she questioned, looking outside. "Surely there's a place you sleep at night." Anastasiya linked an arm with the stranger's, leading him outdoors. "Which direction did you come from?"

Marionette shook his head rather violently, pointing a finger south of the shop. "I came from there. Do not need for sleep. Am left... behind...?"
