Sadia nodded to Yoh and she jumped back up on her feet exited that she could get to go look for Rune,
"Lets go!" She called out.

:: Lamia never glimpsed at anyone else save for Nairika. She had to get through to her, and the only way to do that, was to focus on her. She made her, she could contain her if she had wanted. Lamia was still more powerful, just not as fast. ::

:: She felt herself screaming, and tried to shut herself up, but she couldnt. Her heart was heavy with hurt from Nai's overwhelming words. ::
"You.. YOU ARE SO SELFISH! YOU think of ONLY YOURSELF. I LOVE YOU, NAIRIKA! I kept you BY MY SIDE! I Nurtured YOU. I healed you.. .. I.. I did whatever I could to make you mine."
:: Tears dropped into the dry ground, splattering and making very little noise, they soaked into the dirt and dryed away quickly. As if the ground itself lacked the water it needed to survive. As Lamia felt with teh lack of love emitting from Nai. Like the ground, she was dryed up.. she could take no more. ::
"Dont make me force you to listen, Nai... LOOK at me and SEE that I SPEAK the TRUTH!!"

*Rune blinked and looked at nairika*
I take it the crazy lady pms-ing on us and yourself are WELL acquainted then?
*Yoh meanwhile pulled Sadia close to him as he skidded to a halt behind Lamia and looked questioningly across at Rune and Nai. Rune merely shrugged cluelessly*

she glanced at rune as she spoke to her and spoke in a low voice
"she's.....lamia...my...mother, in a way"
her gaze turned to lamia and suddenly her face twists in anger when lamia calls her selfish
"SELFISH?! you call standing constantly by your side selfish?! you call coming after you so many times when roan had you selfish?! do you have ANY idea what i went through?! and THEN the time i NEEDED you the most, you sat back and watched while i was nearly beaten to death?!"
nai stared at her, tears crossing her angry eyes. if nai had not been so hurt and broken from all the past events, she would have been able to tell lamia spoke the truth

:: Lamia's jaw dropped, not believing her ears. How could Nai.. How could she seriously believe that.. when she had tried SO hard to stop it. She struggled til her very last ounce of strength was taken from her. ::

:: She was on Nai before anyone could blink, grabbing hold of her, she released her fangs, she was going to bite Nai and drain her til her point of death, and whisk her away where Lamia could actually get through to her without everyone else being in the way. ::

:: She held tightly to Nai, not moving, not breathhing, not blinking. She was so deadly seeming at this point.. Nai would be too afraid to move, knowing Lamia was still more powerful than she. ::

nai squeaked in surprise, releasing the grip from her staff which clattered to the ground. as lamia held her, she wanted to struggle, run, anything to get away. but for some reason she couldnt even move her mouth to speak as she stared into lamia's face. rune's voice was mearly an echo in the background as she stood motionless, stunned

*sighing, Rune moved his spear back to its usual resting plac eon his back*
Excuse me miss.
*he lightly toched Lamia;s arm to get her attention, hoping he wouldnt get smacked in the face - for one thing, the Elf with Sadia was bound to fire off a blast if he did*
I appreciate you know miss Nairika, but there are better ways of holding a discussion than this. Espeically with the entire village watching. Would you care to come and talk in more, ah, appropriate surronds?

"These your new buddies?"
:: She snapped her jaws at Rune and the look she gave would have killed. She stared into Nai's eyes, almost hypnotizing her, and began to lower her fangs onto Nai's still soft skin. She felt her fangs touch and slightly p***k her skin, yet... she didnt bite down. She wanted it to be Nai's choice, as that was always taken from her. She spoke to her, through her mind. ::
"Tell me Nai... Do you care to see what truly is? What we really are, what our bond means to me? Im giving you the choice... as you've never really HAD a choice in anything that has happened to you..."
:: She contemplated all this herself, and it began to make her tears drip down her face. Tears of black, cold, blood. ::

Well this has just gone from weird to weirder....
We cant leave her. She helped us.
I think we may not have a choice.
DONT throw that spell, mage. She hasnt hurt Nairika... yet.

nai wimped a little, still staring stright ahead as lamia broke her gaze. she could feel lamia's fangs against her skin, but didnt do anything to pull away. she closed her eyes and just nodded slightly, not able to even find her voice at the moment

:: Lamia disregarded both Rune and Yoh. She liked Yoh, and hoped he would understand. She watched Nai shake her head and she smiled. Then, bit down into her neck, releasing her wings she took to the air, holding Nai up as she drained her. Soon, Nai would fall into a deep slumber, and Lamia would enter her world. She began to fly away from the village, and towards the lake she had come to know so well. Knowing the creature there, would protect them, should anyone try to interfere. ::
"Let me prove this all to you.."
:: She drained Nai to the very last ounce of her strength and lay closely by her, her head touching Nai's forehead. She spoke aloud some small chant and then her body slumped. ::

This is getting tedious. Either I AM going to have enemies to fire at today, or Im giving up and not summoning anymore spells.
Its been one of thsoe days, I agree. Well, if those two want to make a spectacle of themselves and get lynched by the villagers, that's their call. Lets get out of here.

*Yoh scooped Sadia up and joined Rune, then they began to leave, Rune definitely not wanting to be around by the time the villagers came back with pitchforks*

Sadia watched with Yoh at the entire situation, she didn't know what was going on in the least bit, only that suddenly the nice lady with blue hair is now sleeping.
"What about the lady with blue hair?" She asked innocently.

The lady with the blue hair chose to look after herself. Question is... what are WE going to do?

They live near the forest. These people are programmed to attack first, ask questions later. Trust me.
Personal experiance?
Definitely. Our foxy friend may run into some trouble too if he's still in the area. That one can look after himself though. I suggest we head back to the river near the forest. I can go hunt then and we'll spend the night safe between two evils. Tomorrow we decide what to do next.
Sound s like a plan. That ok with you Sadia?
