Samantha grinned. Such a pretty name... and he's so cute about her! "Be sure you do." Then she jogged off to the bar to place their orders.

Relm returned not much later, not quite ignoring the comments of the guys that had been behind her when she bent over and frowned before fixing the loudest of them with a glare. A female was on the stage now, singing a good if hollow rendition of Madonna's "Music". Nearing Keme her smile returned and she slipped eagerly onto the seat beside him, and nearly onto his lap. Her skirt for its part mostly was, until she tucked it between them with a nervous giggle. "Sorry 'bout that, Keme. Nerves."

Instantly grateful for his embrace, Relm snuggled into his side. She shivered a little as his tail brushed her leg, then sighed softly. "hmm... would you want to, Keme? We've not sang together before, really. But then, I've never sang in public before..." She gave a choked laugh & hid her face in Keme's chest. "I'm not sure, but I think I might like to sing with you..."

"Should we pick a song or..." Relm shuddered at the prospect of letting that odd man choose for them. What if he picked something completely horrid? And why did he make her think of that crazy Kefka? Maybe because of all that energy. Zach certainly was not dressed like Kefka, nor had that one's painted face and annoying voice and laughter.

Snuggling against him -which was easy on the comfortable seat- Relm spoke into his chest without looking up. "I'm not sure I'd know what to pick... maybe one of those I put together for you... but I don't know which one!" Her voice rose a little as she tried to keep her nervousness in check. How could she have fought monsters and even Kefka but be afraid of this?

Relm was not worried about the laughter but about just doing it at all. Still, Keme's words made her smile & purr happily as she enjoyed the feel of his nuzzle. She knew he was joking, but the mental image of him bringing a chair down on the head of one of those guys... well it made her smile. "mmm... thanks Hummer..."

Just then, Sammy returned with their drinks. She set them down with an apologetic half smile. "I tried to take my time, but ..." She shrugged, indicating she still had a job to do and standards to meet. Zach could already be seen across the room, noting her arrival with his bright eyes as he made his rounds with the other tables. "He won't come till after you've paid & I'm gone, but I can't stick around long."

That was clear, as another table was trying to flag her over. Relm turned her head to smile her thanks, reaching for her drink to take a long sip. "And I really would like to hear you both."

"Yeah, thanks." Relm added with a grin, glad she could not taste the alcohol but feeling it even a little just from that one sip. Of course, she had zero alcohol tolerance and that helped. Sammy just grinned and nodded, eyes going wide at the tip. "Wow. Thanks! I'd like that. Even if you let Zach pick. Though maybe if you do, I'll get to hear something new." With a smile and a wave she was off to the table that was flagging her down, dark braid singing behind her.

And Zach was aproaching. Relm sipped at her drink, liking the fruity alcoholic beverage. "Do you have anything you're wanting to sing, Hummer?"

Relm smiled. "I'd like that. What about for us?" Zach ran down to the stage to announce the next singer and his song: "Angel is a Centerfold". There was a purposeful glint in his eye as he returned to the tables and beelined towards the audios. He had never had a pair on stage as cute as they were. And both came with their own headphones! Clearly they liked music!
