LAYDEEHxDORK
Does anyone else notice that drum majors usually go out with color guards?

Well, they do at my school anyways. xd

I'm not sure about next year though, because I'm pretty sure a girl is going to be drum major and theres no guys in flag twirling at our school.

Our drum majors end up going out with people on the band. I know our senior drum major was dating a... tenor or bari sax player. I don't remember which. We have three drum majors (a senior and two juniors), all of whom are girls, and only one guy in flags (he's very VERY gay. He has a crush on one of the guys on the flag team at another school. It's so cute. 3nodding ) so there's really no one for them to date in flags.

I am in a band-lationship. our band directors hate it but we have about 5-6 total in the band.

There's one band-lationship in my band. A percussionist is going out with an alto sax. He's all obsessed and creepy and she doesn't really like him. It's really funny to see him wait for her as she puts her sax away because he's staring at her the entire time. So creepy.

heart Bandlationships....yes, there are a few in my band. A flute player is going out with a clarinet player, another flute player is going out with another clarinet player, another flute player is going out with a sax player, and another clarinet player is going out with another sax player.

I'm on break now, and haven't seen my tenor guy since the Friday before break started... almost a week. ;_; And his birthday's tomorrow, too... and I have no way of getting ahold of him because he NEVER checks his e-mail and I don't have his phone number. I COULD walk down to his house 'cause I know where it is (we drove him home a couple weeks ago)... but that would be stalkerish. And weird. ^^;; So... yeah. I miss my tenor guy. *is sad*

at my school most of the people in band just stick with other people in band. i guess its just cause we all know and love each other a lot allready, and we see each other all the time so everyone just sticks together. for us its kinda weird when people in band dont go out with other people in band :-p. i was in a bandlationship earlier this year. i wish i was in another bandlationship with a tenor sax right now though... there have been a few too many "situations" of people getting too hot and heavy in the guard room before, very weird.

Haha, so you like a tenor player too, huh? Why is it always the sax players? xp Everyone always has a thing for the saxes....
PostPosted: Thu Dec 23, 2004 5:51 pm

I know! i guess the saxes are just very charismatic people heart

This is true - they're a lot easier to get along with than people in other sections. Tell a sax player to shut up (in good humor, of course) and they laugh. Tell a flute player to shut up, and even if you're joking around, they get pissed off. Oh joy. stare The saxes are just generally more laid back. smile

i agree. all the saxes i know are realy laid back too. verrrry laid back now that i think about it

At one point four of the six drummers were going out with anothe drummer. They wanted the other two to go out with each other but I like the one kid and the girl was one of my good friends and didn't like him anyways. He didn't really like her either.
