Orb finished her little cup of fruit and sighed sitting back. She started humming. The song was from an old artist, but she loved her work. She cleared her throat and sang wordlessly, following the melody, warming up her voice a bit. It was a sweet voice, clear and crystalline, the voice of an angel some said...most said. After a bit of warming up she began sing the words this time.((edited))

Psych sighed quietly. "Is she ever going to leave?" He was becoming rapidly annoyed with this woman. She was making his escape very difficult. It was making him nervous...

Well....not everyone appreciated talent. At least the maid with her breakfast did, "That was lovely, Miss!" She exclaimed putting her food down, pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon. Perfection!
"Thank you but it wasn't so great...I hadn't even warmed up really." A little more of that exchange and then the maid left her be to her breakfast.

As soon as he saw the bacon, his entire outlook changed. He quickly began thinking of a way to get at it and an idea took shape. His tail felt around for a rock. He found it and after a few tries managed to curl it around the rock. Aiming carefully, he snapped his tail forward and released the rock, careful not to let himself be seen. It flew a good ways, landing in some bushed on the opposite side of the yard. He grinned at the loud rustling noise it produced.

Naturally, Orb turned her head in the direction of the sound. She tilted her head but didn't get up to investigate, "Still here? That's a surprise." She said to the air, "I thought you would have left already." She continued, sticking the morsal of dripping pancake in her mouth.

"Damn... she didn't move..." Now Psych was just plain frustrated. First he couldn't escape, and now he couldn't even get more food.

Orb swallowed, "I don't mind sharing, in fact, I can get a whole plate fixed up just for you. Just don't hide in the bushes....the gardner takes so much pride in teh foliage around here...he's a fanatic." She went on.

Psych waited until she was looking away from his hiding place before leaping away from the bushes. He had jumped to a tree trunk and in only a few more seconds was up the trunk and into the foliage again. He used the leaves to cover his appearence, but the grooves in the bark were testament to his unusual nature. It didn't change the fact that she knew he was here. "I tend to doubt you'd be quite so generous if you knew precisely what I was..."

She swung around only in time to see leaves fall. Her pink eyes noticed the gouges in the tree and she tsked, "He's going to be upset about that...." She murmered quietly, "Fair answer, I guess I would freak out if I was all kids in my position...lucky for you, I'm not like them."

"I'm not worried about freaking you out, you seem to calm for that. Psych's tail lashed anxiously, disturbing some of the leaves. "I'm worried about leaving a witness that knows what I look like and is capable of informing the watchers where I am."

Orb sighed, "Watchers didn't stop my parents from being entered into the Game." She replid bitterly, "I owe them no loyalty."

"That changes things a little..." Slowly, Psych moved towards the ground. His head emerged first as he came down the trunk of the tree, but soon he had deftly landed, and was standing in front of Orb. "Will your servants be as obliging as yourself?"

She rolled her eyes up to think, "No. Munch on this and get yourself back in the bushes, I'll get you some breakfast." She said, handing him her bacon. Without waiting to see how he responded she called the maid.
She came trotting out when she heard what Orb wanted she blinked, "Seven steaks, ma'am?"
Orb sighed and rubbed her belly, "I'm really hungry." She smiled sweetly up at her.
The maid, still looking a bit stunned she nodded and hurried away.

Psych barely had time to accept the bacon before the maid was on her way. He'd gotten himself back in the bushes just before she'd seen him. He waited until she'd gone before poking his head out of the bushes. "I'm not used to this kind of generosity. Thanks..."

She gave him a one shouldered shrug, "It's actually pretty awesome meeting one of your kind...I've heard of your race, I've even done a bit of reading but it's pretty awesome meeting you face to face." She admitted.
