TAS!Lana is my favourite version of the character.
Even if you get rid of the romantic aspect, I think the writers feel like their have to box everyone into their specific roles. Clark already has a female friend who knows his secret; it never even crosses their creatively bankrupt little minds that they could take the same idea from a different angle with Lana.

Exactly. What is wrong with Lana and Clark being friends and not romantically involved? Can that ever happen? That would be the best thing to do without killing her off I say.

As long as there is never the hint of romance between them, I tend to like it better then... Like when they fight.... and tell each other that they don't love each other anymore... for some reason those scenes always make me really happy! mrgreen

I wish there was, but probably not. And don't act like you don't know why those scenes make you happy. confused

I used to get all jumpy and happy about Clana scenes. Now a days they are a nuisance because they are either bickering or trying to get back together.

SaberFireTiger I used to get all jumpy and happy about Clana scenes. Now a days they are a nuisance because they are either bickering or trying to get back together.
they aren't trying to get back together, they are DESPERATELY trying to get together....they are pushers, and that is not always a good thing.

Ha, sorry, had a mean girls flashback. But actually, Lana was on that killing/bring you back drug and Clark seems to be on red k a lot. If only Lois waited a couple of weeks before putting on that lipstick, then Lana would be with Clark. Oh well!
