Tsuzuki didn't know what else to do when the glass bullets came zooming at her except put her arms up to block their entry into her face or her chest. This inadvertadly created a firewall infront of her which, although it didn't stop the bullets, slowed them down enough so that only a few entered her upper arms slightly while the others were deflected upwards. She let out a loud yelp as they burned her flesh with entry and fell to her knees as she tried to pull them out with her hands that were stinging from using the muscles that had been damaged.

Musei gasped when he both saw and heard the harsh attack on Tsuzuki. Digging his staff into the ground he lept off the rock and ran forward, not knowing he was misadvertently using it's ability to fly, moving that little bit faster.

He stopped in between them and held up his hands, then yelling "STOP" at the top of his lungs. Looking at the both, one with burn face, the other with glass embedded into her, he shook his head. "Please...you're both done."

Her eyes shifted towards Musei and she walked forward. He would find she walked around him, taking the time to ruffle his hair. "Calm yourself Musei. Tsuzuki wanted the fight and knew fully well what would happen. But you are correct. We are done."

Moving over she would kneel aside Tsuzuki and with fingertips tenderly started to help remove the 'bullets' that way Tsuzuki didn't have to hurt herself more. Though be honest, Niima had to be careful herself not to hurt Tsuzuki. After all Niima only had one eye to see what she was doing and she didn't want to accidentally poke instead of grabbing the shards.

"I am sorry for having to be so harsh Tsuzuki. Normally I would not do such actions but I was growing weary and needed bring you down to end this spar. I think we are both very tired and drawn from.." Her voice was tender and kind as she continued to help out the poor woman. She knew that Tsuzuki will be able to see the waterbender..unlike Niima. "You did wonderfully by the way my dear. A little rougher then I was expected for a spar.."

She paused and looked over to Musei. "If you've a water pouch, bring it here so we can cool her skin." Poor Musei. She knew he wasn't use to watching such things. Heck..if this got him worried, her fight between Kuari would of given the poor kiddo a heart attack. Firebenders did tend to be um..a bit brash. She would have to explain that to him later...

Musei, reaching behind him, found a small pouch of water. He unhooked it from his belt and held it out for Niima, stern look on his face. He didn't understand the violence behind the spars. Sure, he realized there would have been violence, but he didn't understand it having to be on this scale.

Had it been survival, Musei would have understood it. But no, it was fighting. For sport, almost. He realized that he would have to be part of it eventually, but right now it seemed kind of pointless.

Tsuzuki winced slightly as Niima took the glass out of her arms. "It's okay. I mean, it's really my own fault that it had to come to this. And, between you and me, I don't really like to fight all that much. I'd just never seen an airbender before. I tried to go to one of the air temples once but Kazuki. . ." she stopped herself midsentence, trying to get control of the sudden anger and frustration she felt, before continueing, "I'm just glad I even had the chance. Thank you."

She was quite an upbeat and a well mannered young woman for such an oddball of a firebender. "I feel terrible about your eye. If there's anything I can do to help in anyway -not just your eye, I mean- don't hessitate to ask."

"I must admit myself dear..I do not see why sparring has to be so rough but I have found out in the past if I am too 'gentle' with my partner as they are rough with me..I am doomed to broken limbs or close to death experiences. If I really would of wanted to hurt you I could of done alot worst with the shards." She chuckled and paused at that cursed name. Niima made a resounding grunt as she softly took the water from Musei and started to spill the water along Tsuzuki's arm.

"I find it seriously hard that anyone would want that dense ...child...to be their leader. Seems his stupidity knows no bounds if even his name stretches out to the fire nation."
Her head slowly shook as she took care to remove her waist sash, using it to wrap up Tsuzuki's worst wounded arm. Musei's water pouch was resting in her lap as she worked carefully. She gave a smile at hearing Tsuzuki. "Thank you dear but I'll be fine. It's..nothing and I've had nearly as worst."

Not like anyone cared how she looked anywho and not like she had anyone to impress anymore. The wound um...gave her ..character? Hehe. "But I suggest you see your waterbender friends soon as possible. We do not wish those wounds to get infected."

"Niima!" Musei scorned, hands on his hips. "You're going too! I will not allow you to sit there with that eye!" He grabbed his pouch and uncorked it again, pressing his hand lightly into Niima's forehead, whether she wanted it or not. Pouring the water on the tip of the burn, letting the cool, soothing water run down the irritated, cracked skin, he sighed.

"You don't seem to care about yourself!" Musei pouted, letting the last few drops of water splash against his...his...He frowned, thinking to himself. To him, Niima was his sister. Sure, they may not be related by blood, but he had no family. Musei didn't think Niima had any, so he'd be her brother!

And brothers looked after their sisters. "And if you don't go to that water-bender with Tsuzuki I'll make you!"

She blinked her good eye and stared up at Musei. She nearly jumped out her boots when the cool water touched the irritated wound. "M..Musei!" She looked at him quietly and her brows softened. "Oh Musei..You are wrong. I do care..very much about my self. But I do not need to be healed. It's just a burn.." A burn that sealed her eye shut. "I've the right not to trust others do I not? Besides..this way I don't get funny looks from people because my eyes are different colors..and it's really Tsuzuki that needs the healing.." She chuckled but it was quickly cut off by his last words. Oh she just couldn't pass that up. She grinned at her little brother impishly. "Oh you will make me will you? Enlighten me..how?" Reaching over she tickled his stomach before standing and wiping her face.

Musei giggled, stepping back a pace from the taller girl. "No fair!" He sighed, rubbing the spot where she had attacked him. "That doesn't count!"

He ran forward and grabbed her around the waist. "I'll drag you! And there's nothing you can do about it! You're going and that's final!" He slipped back, a stern look not too often seen on his face. "A burn's a burn! And it hurts! Besides..."

He sighed, poking her stomach. "You need healing as much as she does. Please?" He looked up, a sincere look on his face. "Please, Niima? For me?"

She sighed as he talked her stomach and her arms wrapped about him in a soft hug. As he slipped away her arms fell to her sides. Apparently it didn't matter what she wanted. He wanted her healed and was going to nag her regardless. "Fine Musei. I will allow the waterbender to heal me." She didn't particularly like the idea of a stranger messing with her system. But..she had no choice in the matter..

Tsuzuki smiled at the airbenders' natures. She wished she could be so comfortable with people from the Fire Nation. But they were brought up to be the best of the best and learn the most of every other nation reguardless of financial income. Tsuzuki took eleven years of that before she left to travel the world. Five years later, she was still thinking about the same things. "So this waterbender is an old woman who moved here so many years ago, nobody's old enough to remember it. If she's a little snippy, don't worry. Just agree with everything that she says and you'll be fine. She's very good at what she does, though, so don't worry about anything she could mess up," Tsuzuki warned Niima and Musei, "Just follow me."

She lead them back down towards the city but they didn't go into it. Instead, she took them on a small, wooded path through the nearby woods to an old, brick house. The blinding white of the outside had dimmed over the years and was now a light shade of grey. The tiles on the roof had changed from being bright orange to a rusty color. "This is it," Tsuzuki announced, "Karada! We're here to see you!"

An old woman inched out of the open doorway. She appeared much younger than Tsuzuki had illuded. In fact, if it wasn't for her white hair, she'd only appear to be a little over thirty. She was wearing traditional Water Tribe summer clothing: A sleave-less, blue dress with dark blue boots and an engagement necklace. "Alright, dear, I've been waiting for you and the airbenders. That burn on the girl with two different-colored eyes hurts me. Get in here."

Tsuzuki didn't ask how she knew that they were coming, much less that the two were airbenders, but followed Karada inside. The one-room house was filled with animal skins and decorated like a traditional Water Tribe tent. Most people avoided this place because of superstition between the firebenders and waterbenders but Tsuzuki always enjoyed coming here as a kid. Karada sat on the other side of the fire (the source of light), at the center and waited.

Musei whistled, looking all around the walls. He ran a hand across a supple bear skin, frowning as he viewed the rest of the place. He didn't want to say anything, just stood there, watching the old woman, observing.

As the light danced across his eyes, he showed a stern childish exuberance.

Taizen looked out over the large expanse of coast, his eyes searching; not taking in the view of woods looking over a clear beach. His eyes stopped upon the mooring of a small water tribe boat, though slightly larger than the boat he was sailing on. "Niima...?" Taizen questioned silently, beginning the rotary windmill motions with his hands once more, moving the ship forward. As he neared the boat, he could see no one onboard, however he could see yellowing lichen on a half of the boat. The kind of lichen that dies when exposed to too much heat. The kind of lichen that usually grows on the boats of the south pole. "Niima!" Taizen called jumping over board once close enough. "Niima!" He called again, this time cupping his hands over his mouth to amplify his voice. There was no response, he waited a few minutes in vain hope, of course if they were docked in the fire nation they wouldn't be sitting in a poorly furnished boat. Taizen sighed as the boat he arrived in began to float back out, Taizen turned slowly and sighed, the waterbubbled hopefully.Taizen straightened his posture and raised his hands to shoulder length, reaching out to the vastness of the ocean, he took a deep breath through his nose, rocked back on his right foot and pulled his hands back to him. His right foot pushed down in the soft sand and he exhaled his breath strongly, his hands pushing against an invisible weight. He repeated these movements several times, the ocean seemed to be rockign with Taizen, the waves pushing forward each time he pulled back, and retreated once he pushed out. Slowly, the waves began to leave gaping patches of sand, and rushing past Taizen, covering him to his waist, though he did not move, as though the force of the waves simply went around him. The boats however, moved with the waves, being pushed back and forth, the moored ship used by the air nomads was snapped from it's docking, and carried along the waves. Following its brother on the waves. Finally, after several minutes of this, the waterbender turned on his heel, and pushed in the direction of the woods, his whole body pushing his hands in a fluent movement. The waves roared angrily, and crashed upon the beach, pushing the boats farther up the sany beach than they had been docked, the boats almost reached the woods as they were carried by the torrential wave. Taizenrelaxed his hands and allowed them to slump to his sides, Taizen relaxed his legs and stood up straight, making a flourishing motion with his hands, and the water sank receded back into the ocean, circling around the ships so as not to carry it back out to sea, leaving them beached. Taizen looked around. No one was around... No one was there to tell them where his air nomads were... Taizen looked deep into the forest, the faintest sounds of a bell could be heard. Like the bell of a city, or town to mark the hour. A city, was a better place to look than a wilderness of sand or woods.

With her arm curled to her 'little brother' she followed after the firebender. She was tired so really didn't say anything along the way. Even as they entered she eyed the waterbender woman wearily. Once the others where inside, she lounged at the door, leaning in and out. She looked about before turning to the woman. "If you would be so kind. Heal Miss Tsuzuki first." She wasn't giving the woman room to argue. For some reason a ache in her heart rose at the sight of the woman. Or was there another reason? Her thoughts went to Taizen..and she sighed.

Taizen didn't know the woods very well, so, there was lots of cursing. His cheerful position on life had been altered by his hoped being raised, and then hurled to the ground. It didn't take very long for Taizen to find a path through the woods, though he would occasionally realize he went off it, the path wasn't so neat and easily distinguished to Taizen's eyes, who were more accustomed to the bleakness of snow, and ice. Taizen adjusted his parka, sweltering. He sorta regretted drying himself off after his little splash fest. Of course, he wasn't going to just leave his thick clothing there in the woods, thin clothing felt horribly like nakedness, the only thing he ever felt proud to be in aside from layers and layers of clothing, was the yukata Niima had made him; and that he had saved in the boat. But it wasn't as though he'd wear it there, it would be ruined easily! And Niima had made it so gloriously...

His thoughts were redirected as the bell clanged again, and Taizen found himself staring into a town. As he began to walk through the town, he found some kids were playing around with a ball, making idle conversation.
"Hey, did you see that boy? I think he was cute." Said one of the girls who was decidedly not playing ball, but still in the circle simply to talk. The group couldn't have been at the most eleven. "Sure I saw him, but that wasn't who was interesting, nah, that red-orange-haired woman -- was hot!" Taizen's ear perked as he over heard the male child speak of a woman, every person in the town had jet black hair, now wasn't that odd...? The boy kicked the ball high up into the air. The other boy answered. "Werent they going to see the waterbender...?" The other boy who caught the ball as it fell answered. "Whatever... But there was also this other babe with her..." The girl among them blushed noticably and put her hands on her hips and yelled. "Pig!" The boy reached out to catch the ball, but found a little foot in his shin."AHHH!!!" The boy fell to the ground, and the girl ran off. The other kid looked sorta shocked. Taizen smiled. For somereason, the pain of that kid made him feel better. He made his way to the nearest vender, "Excuse me, do you know if there's a waterbender around here?" The man looked Taizen up, and a bit of acknowledgement flashed in his eyes. "Grandson...?" "Sure." Taizen answered unflinchingly, a smile on his face. though he knew full well that both of his grandmothers had passed a few years back. "Just take that path down there." The man said, with a rival smile, though it was authentic. Taizen nodded his thanks before heading off. He walked down the path, still sweltering, when he saw a flash of reddish orange, he shook his head of the sweat, and looked closer. it was a woman... with her back to him, at a hut... "Niima...?" Taizen called out, though he merely said it because he wanted confirmation from Niima rather than his own heat enduced sight.
