I had another thought, maybe certain roles could be cerculated among the townies, that way everyone would stay intrested.

I thought about that, but then that would make the seer's job tricky -- I mean, you scry one person and then they're this role, but then it suddenly switches, and then they're not, then someone else becomes seer, but they don't know anything, so they scry the same person... well, it'll be confusing.

Gonbe Tatsuman Gonbe I'm aiming to have a role for every townie for the next time. Once again, be careful, or the game could become unbalanced. It beats having townies going "omg, no role, bored, letz go." (zen is special) I'll just have to have special wolf roles, too, or more wolves. No, I think it's still interesting as a normal townie. I think its better that you make only a few townies have special powers. As a normal townie you have to use deductive skills to figure out who the wolves are and vote them off. I think the challenge makes it interesting. If every townie has a role that helps them win then it's less interesting.

Hmm, alright then. Then it seems most people are in favour of keeping mostly normal townies.

If everyone had a role it would be as simple as PMing everyone asking for their role to find out who the wolves are.

I was thinking some of the roles could be MUCH more minor, though. Not all of them will be important roles. Maybe having a secret extra vote, or whatever. Or having a small alliance.

So would the wolves get extra powers, too or what?

Yes, possibly. Or there could be more wolves.

Oh, I see. Well, if you found a good balance for everything that would make it a lot more interesting. I think so, at least..

Yeah, that's the tough part. And the only way to find out is to play it and find out... I also want to speed up the game somewhat too. More kills, but you find the wolves faster, if you do.

Maybe there could be a town psycho or something who actually doesn't know he's the psycho, but kills a random townie each day.

I'm thinking of sticking in the berserker wolf I put in on the first post. This role doesn't help either the townies or the wolves, they're out there for nobody but themselves. Also, it will prevent the invinci-townie from just saying, "hi I am invinci-townie".

That sounds good, seeing as the invincible townie's impossible to get rid of.
... Is there a way for the invinci-townie to die without being voted off?

At the moment, no. Which is why we need to think of a way to get rid of him, somehow. Maybe the wolves can kill the invinci-townie too, only it takes three days or so.

I think th invinci townie should remain invincible. If they attack once, they know who's the invinci townie, and just attack over the next 3 days. it's too easy. Causing dissension in the ranks is much more fun
