She ran quickly up to the deck when she heard the captain call. She saw the other ship and wondered what was going to happen even though she knew what was certain. After hearing the captain's orders, she changed her outer appearance to be more suitable for battle, and waited. She urgently wanted to help, but also wanted to respect the captain's wishes. So, the only thing she thought was best was to make sure everyone was safe and had whatever they needed even though she knew that everyone on board should be more than capable of taking care of themselves.

She sensed there was something different about the ship, but since she'd never been so near these types of pirates before, she couldn't be sure it wasn't normal. She new there was something else aboard that ship than the eyes could see, and that they would do anything to keep it from our knowledge. That and the fact that they didn't seem to care about others, only led to one conclusion.
"Captain, watch your back. They're hiding something on their ship and I don't think they'll care what happens along the way. There's more to them than even I know..." her voice trailed off as she went deep in thought while still blocking it from all others.

Tramer began probing the minds of the crew on the other ship finding nothing useful so he decided to try the captain knowing he would know everything worth knowing. Tramer entered his mind, a wall formed blocking Tramer’s advances I give it to this guy he is president Tramer thought to himself as he continued trying to find a weak point in the man’s mind. Tramer smirked as he found what he was looking for, a laps in the man’s concentration leaving a hole in the wall keeping Tramer out. Tramer entered though this hole as he did Tramer collapse to his knees on the deck from overwhelming pain like the which Tramer had never imagined. Tramer tried to fight the pain and pear into the man’s mind but found nothing but a endless void of darkness. Tramer quickly exited the man’s mind as he gasped for air, sweat dripping down his face as the pain slowly resided from his body “there captain is no normal pirate……..or human for that mater” Tramer said still gasping for air

Lilla was shocked back to reality as Tramer collapsed upon the deck. She was stunned at first, but within a millisecond immediately started running to him. "Tramer?! What's wrong? What happened? What-" She heard Tramer say something to the account of the other ship.. '..or human for that matter' ..then.. She looked back toward the other ship where the other crew stood on the deck. That explains a lot.. but, how-? "Wait, you didn't do what I think you did.. did you?"

Lilla gave Tramer a worried look knowing the only way he could lose so much strength so quickly was by overexerting an ability. The only thing she knew he could do was penetrate the minds of others, so piecing the clues together meant he tried to pierce an impenetrable force. Judging by Tramer's actions, she could tell he succeeded, but suffered a great consequence. He seemed to be feeling better, but the only thing she knew how to help him was by having him rest. However, if he was willing to endure whatever it was that was draining his energy, there was little chance she could get him to relax for even just a short while until we figured out what we were going to do next.

She saw him still gasping for air, so kneeling next to him, she conjured an oxygen mask and placed in his hand gently while wondering what he would do if she tried to help any more. Therefore, instead of doing anything else, she conjured some more water and held it for him if he needed some. "Tramer, you need to relax. Overexerting your ability will only cripple you when we must fight them," she said in a mild voice only he could hear so as not make him listen to her with his mind and weaken further.

Tramer breathed though the strange device Lilla conjured quickly caching his breath “thank you” tramer said as he stood up his muscles aced as he moved. “ don’t worry about me” tramer said trying to shake off the pain in his body as he steped away from Lilla what are you thinking are you trying to get yourself killed!! Korvana yelled inside tramer’s head “I was in his mind I penetrated his defenses” tramer said looking down at the deck with a confused look on his face “and there was nothing, nothing but a seemingly endless void” tramer said turning around and looking back up at Lilla “I don’t know what there captain is but he is not human” tramer said as he grasped the hilt of his sword lifting it over his head and then letting it rest on his shoulder ya go fight the guy that almost killed you just know exigent idea!!……….im going to end up on the ocean floor Korvan said angrily

Lilla watched as Tramer seemed to regain his breath and nodded in reply to his thanking her. She stood as he did but found it hard to not worry. She worried about everyone as she would her closest friends, so seeing Tramer in pain yet with the heart to endure it as she would only caused her to worry more. Several times before, Lilla nearly killed herself because she was ignoring her instinct and didn't know her own limitations. Now, she has grown to understand them better, but can't say the same for those around her.

As Tramer backed away from her, Lilla tilted her head slightly downward and looked away for a second because knew she had to respect the distance he had set before them. However, she would still be there to give any sort of assistance whenever necessary. Lilla returned her focus and listened to Tramer intently while trying to develop a clearer picture of what they were up against. She began thinking while still listening but didn't close her mind. She didn't think Tramer had much strength to listen to her; yet, if he did, he could help piece everything together.

So, whatever this is, it has a strong defense, a barrier if you will, against mental intruders like Tramer and me. But that's not the worst of it.. If someone passes that barrier, the way Tramer did, then they meet.. nothing?! How is that possible? Everyone has a soul, so their soul if even the last thing present, should be there. Unless.. Lilla began to recall stories about other creatures being told to her when she was little. Flashes of books and her mother and father reading to her and listening to other stories being told of creatures that could pass as humans but weren't; some being for good, others for evil, and still others undecided. She thought they were all myths. There's no such thing, is there? Turning completely away from Tramer, Lilla looked back at the crew of the other ship. Her face became more serious and a determined look flared within her eyes. She had to see these beings up close and personal. If they aren't human, there's no telling what can happen, but I have to try.

"Tramer," Lilla said in a low, yet more serious tone while looking back at him, "what exactly did you feel when you got inside the captain's head?" She wasn't sure if he was listening to her thoughts, but honestly didn't care. At the moment, Lilla was more concerned with finding out if her conclusions could be accurate.

Tramer listened to Lilla thoughts as she opened her mind coming to a similar conclusion himself “there was nothing but an endless void, as soon as I entered his mind my straight was sucked out of me, I looked around but there was nothing, nothing but the void” tramer said in a quite but serious tone as he looked out toward the oncoming ship

Jarek suddenly puts the cannon down and begins pantomiming something to his brother. George runs up to the captain quickly but cautiously.
"Sir...Jarek wants to know how many times you want him to shoot the other ship..."
George remained in his place awaiting an answer staring half at the captain, and half at the advancing ship.

The Captain answered George with, "Fire at the rudder, and if it is still moving blast the mast." He then turned to the girl at the helm and said, "AFter they are imobalized pull up behind the ship, so we can get a better look at our pirate prey."

George quickly ran back below deck to return to his brother with the answer. "He says shoot the ruder guy of them all, and if he's still wigglin' then give em a blast from the past!"
Jarek rolled his eyes, but he could figure out what the actual message was, despite the fact his twin was completely oblivious to the fact that that's not what was said...hopefully.
Jarek had done his homework, and knew the workings of a ship...he now just awaited the orders.
"What are you waiting for!? Shoot that guy right there!" ((surely, by now I don't need to tell you who said that.))

Turning to the captain, Lilla realized he didn't react to what she had told him earlier. "Captain," she began looking to Tramer for a bit of help, "the crew aboard the other ship," trying to think of a way to say it.. "aren't human."

Maria was at the railing. "Vampirates." She whisperd. She rememberd the captian. One of the oldest vampires alive, making him very powerfull. Maybe they had werewolves and others as well. She sighed. "Dont recognize me." She whisperd in the wind, closing her eyes.

He heard Lilla tell him they were not human again, but all he did was answer her in a very cynical way. "Aye, and what does that mean? It does not matter much if they are human or not. We have so members of the crew who others would consider not human, but on the other hand if they are who I think they are, we will be in for a large bounty and sum of treasure. If you wish, Scott and I will be the first to board the ship just to see if it is safe enough for anyone else to come aboard. ANyone may join in though."

He then turned to his vice-captain, Scott and asked him why it was taking George and Jarrek so long to fire the cannon. The Vice-captain then swiftly made it below and gave the Captain's orders directly to Jarek.

Lilla heard Maria's whisper, and sure the captain couldn't, she corrected her previous statement, "They're.. vampirates." She wasn't quite sure what she was saying, but went along with it anyway. Turning away from the Captain to look at Maria, she was a bit confused; yet believing she was on their side, said nothing about her previous thoughts or whispers which she in fact, did hear.

Hearing the Captain Rex's reply, Lilla nodded in response.
