Twiddling your thumbs and twitching is one thing, but when you have these weird things you have to do, otherwise it might bother you for the rest of the day, I think that's more OCD. I have tons of things I have to do all of the time, and most of them are quite hard to explain. For example though, pressure is a big thing for me, like, I have to have even pressure on my fingers. If I press a button on the keyboard I either have to touch a button with all my fingers with the exact same pressure everywhere, or I have to touch certain other buttons on the keyboard to even out the pressure on the keyboard. If I don't do this I could just go mad, it'd be bothering me for hours. I also have this thing with my tongue where a lot of the time when I make an 'r' sound, the 'drilling' isn't perfectly even so I can spend hours trying to even the pressure on it.. it's hard to explain it. And I count syllables all the time and when I was younger I used to count my steps and more. I could go on.. eek

I have to stand on one leg when the microwave is about to beep or I go absolutely NUTS and it drives me wonky for the rest of the day. Whenever I make a typo, I have to delete it and then make the "opposite" typo (so if I type "theb" instead of "then," I have to delete it and write "them" and delete that before I go on). And I'm the same way about pressure as you, ljosberinn. It drives me absolutely crazy when I'm typing. Whenever I touch something, I have to touch something else with a similar texture with my other hand, to the point where I've actually burned myself trying to "even things out." If I hurt myself unevenly, I try to make it so that the next time I hurt myself it's the opposite way (it's never intentional, but when I know that I'm going to be injured I try to even it out). So when I'm skiing and I fall, next time I try to fall onto the other side if I know I'm going to fall. mad D And that's only the tip of the iceberg, I'm afraid.
My psychiatrist actually suspects that I have OCD, and I believe her. gonk

I usually finish before it gets to 14.

Yeah I'm the same with most of it, apart from the microwave and typos. I keep forgetting to ask my mum for my shrink's number so that I can get an appointment, I want to talk to her about this and Synaesthesia, see if she knows anything about it. ninja
By the way, Forgedawn, I added some Icelandic lessons to the Language lessons forum, you said you were interested. It only has the alphabet and pronounciation now, with some very small basic vocabulary, but I'll be adding onto it. 3nodding

ljosberinn @Dave: Are you sitting in the same place or something? That yellow arrow was on the other picture too, wasn't it? :O Almost! I'm at the next table over. That's not the same arrow, but rather the one next to the arrow in the picture from last year, if that makes sense. There are multiple arrows that say "ENTRANCE" on them, pointing you to the entrance, and what you're seeing in the picture is the reverse side of the arrows, which are attached to this clear plastic curtain thing that keeps the heat inside the little outside-the-restaurant area. I should've sat in the same place I did last year, so that it would be almost the same picture. I like how in the first picture, the yellow arrow points right to the sombrero, like, "check it out! I've got a sombrero!"

ljosberinn @Kayla: Spandex! rofl That's so cool. I think anyone can be a trendsetter if they just feel confident enough about the things they wear or do. I was a goodie goodie when I was younger as well, got straight nines and tens in school and did everything I was told. The teenage years changed me dramatically and I've never been the same since, much to the disappointment of my parents xD You have OCD? I think I have a bit of it as well.. Never been diagnosed though..

And thanks Forgedawn and Xeigrich. Sparkler, yes yes yes. yea I agree with you about trendsetting, ah I was a sort of goodie... not really, like I think I said in my introduction post, I am just pretty fair with everything, I wouldn't expect extra favors or what not~ and am still like that... hmm I well what would you be OCD about?

Oh god, OCD's gonk
I have the most severe case of having the most numerous yet insignificant OCD-like symptoms evar~
Most of them involve communication, such as typing and talking, and CONSTANTLY ruin my speaking or whatever else I'm trying to do to communicate. Typos, typos, arrgh, it all has to be perfect. On average, I hit the "Preview" button about 2 or 3 times before posting here on Gaia, and after that, I'm likely to hit "Edit" at least once or twice in addition. I'll go back and change even the tiniest error, like a missing space between a period and the next capital letter of a sentence! It's kind of like type-stuttering. I also have this thing where I have to go back and change SOMETHING before I can let myself hit "Submit," or I'll go nuts thinking there was an error (because there must always be an error!! *crazy face*).
I have a lot of "cases" involving something like how computer windows have to be a certain size or on a certain side of the screen or I can't concentrate... Or how I have to put my socks on BEFORE my pants, or I feel like my socks aren't on the right way all day. >_<
Just thought I'd rant that in~
Oh, yeah, back on topic (hehe), I'll probably post up a new pic, soon. I did finally get that haircut, and I've almost got the goatee back to how I like it (LOL, another OCD there, but I won't get back on that subject).

I always think the spit in my food.... and I have the worse luck about things.. like I always get bones in my fish or hairs in my food I find... and once I ate a muffin my grandma made and there was a popcorn kernal in it gonk ...it was cranberry muffins~!!

I'm that ways about computer windows like games have to be full screen or on an internet browser that's full screen. I cant have someone walk on the left side of me or I feel messed up(though that may have something to do with something else.) I can't pass a bunch of unused thumbtacks either without organizing them. sweatdrop There's also something that I do in my mind which I can't describe very well, but I have to get everything even; I'm pretty sure I was trying to do it in the middle of my dream last night. It's probably not OCD since there are only a few things(that I know of at least), but I thought I'd post them.
