"Okay, okay, great." Tadashi puffed up a bit of smoke and squinted at the Cereberus trio through the tabacco cloud. The smoke began to form into numbers and symbols, at which Tadashi nodded sagely.
"Now if I could just..." He spread his palm towards a bit of soil where a tree had been planted, and the soil skittered across the floor, coming to rest between Tadashi and the fountain in the form of a circle.
To Minxi, he said, "Just put 'em in that circle, that'd be great."

The boys nodded, enthusiastically at the idea of having playmates.
"Alright. All you gotta do is put your thumb on the ground and shoot your marble and try to get the center marble to fly out. If you do, you win." The boys sucked at this game, so they'd let the adults go first.
((Everyone playing, use the random number generator for number 1-13. ))

"I suppose you proved me wrong." She could be proven wrong, but she was never uncertain. But she directed Cerebus to protect them while they did their work. She took the marbles, and put them in the circle of earth that Tadashi had indicated.
"Done."

Gamma just stood there, watching what his employer was doing. He didn't care, really.
He wasn't paid to care. Just to terminate trouble makers on the spot.
Looking around, he couldn't see any trouble makers. But he did see people. People with marbles. The guy that stepped up to start talking while they were marble counting.
Gamma recognized Sieg. For good reason.

Sieg watched the action of the pair putting the marbles in the circle through his minds eye. He didnt know what was going on but it was damn sure suspicious. He sat on his knees facing the center of the circle where the marble sat. He would oustrech his tan tein again to 60%"Let gareth go first.", Sieg didnt recognize gamma. His memory had been damaged by that fall but if he did; Sieg woudnt be nearly as calm.

"Great!" Tadashi's eyes were wide open now, and he was grinning like a maniac. Pulling his cig out of his mouth, he waved his hand over the circle of dirt, which began to glow bright green.
Little spheres of light began to form in the circle--around thirty of them or so. A particularly observant mind might recognize one of the marbles as a marble that had belonged to him until the day before, but it was unlikely considering the sheer quantity of marbles in the circle.
The corners of Tadashi's mouth pulled up as high as they could go, he said, "Open sesame."
The circle dematerialized, along with the marbles. And... nothing.
"s**t." Tadashi tossed his cigarette on the ground. "s**t."
He turned his back and pulled out a fresh cig. As he was preparing to light it, the lighting of the area suddenly changed. Everything was cast in green, as a massive pillar of emerald light shot up from the fountain. He turned his head to face it... beautiful. Simply beautiful.
They were going home.

((Yeah, no. That ain't going to cut it. Sorry. Play by the rules. Just by the fact that a marble in front of a gun that then goes off would just explode in addition to the damage the exploding marble would do to your hand.
There's also the fact he told you, thumbs to the ground to fire it off it with your hand.))

((It was worth a try...though I'd like to note a couple things before I capitulate:
1) 'Twasn't at point-blank. 2) How would a marble explode from being used to pull a trigger?
EDIT: Ah. See, he used the marble to pull the trigger, and he aimed below the marble in the ring.))

((Doesn't matter, if you hand isn't in proper position, the rules state your shot is invalid. Please edit. Your hand should be in the position of like you were flicking a coin, with your knuckles on the ground.
All you gotta do is put your thumb on the ground and shoot your marble and try to get the center marble to fly out.
You still have to roll to see if it hits.))

"Beautiful" Minxi looked up at the green light and smiled, a genuine smile that suffused her entire face.

Gamma put the suitcase back, resting the edge on the opening of his pack. He pushed, and the suitcase disappeared in the apparently empty back pack. Bag of Holding, good item.
Neat. Except it was just a pillar of light to Gamma.
He stepped up behind and beside Williams', saying nothing. The mask was panned up to see how tall the thing was.

Gareth nods, then puts down the Defender and aligns it with the marble...he waits, gauging the distance, the surface of the ground, the perfection of the marble, etc.
(Utilizing ability: Deadeye. Estimated time: 1 minute)

"Is it not better to act than to watch?" Hiroshi said. Turning to Gamma, the nearest of the Cereberus warriors, he directed, "Do not allow anyone to follow us in, and you shall be rewarded handsomely."
With that, he leapt into the pillar of light, vanishing into The Unravelling World.

A pillar of green light reaches from the center of Barton Town high into the sky, visible throughout Gaia.
That's probably what the papers were saying; but to someone standing at ground zero it wasn't that impressive on the whole of things. But if there's something Miles has learned from his limited experienced with crazy s**t it's that something big and glowy wasn't a sign of good things to come.
