But not in the way where he could let her in on his biggest secret. He couldn;t trust her enough. Like Crystal said the three things for a healthy relationship is Honasty, Trust and Communication. Their relationship was missing 2 out of the three of those

no he didn't tell her. Well he told her once, but then he went back to not telling, so its just like he never told her in the first place.

Well, he did tell Lana once and ask her to marry him, which shows he had the trust...
However he can't trust her with it NOW because he thinks she will be in danger and possibly die.

thats what i have been saying. and just cause somthing happens in the comics doesnt mean it has to happen in the same way in smallville or in smallville at all.

No you are not getting what i am saying. Clark was always scared to Tell lana about who he was. I mean his worst fear in SCARE season 4 was telling Lana his secret. If someone fears something that much it would be a million times harder to face them in person.
