James found a bottle of water in the kitchen and took it, figuring he'd replace it eventually. He opened it and kept walking, having found no food he decided was worth taking. He told himself he'd find some eventually. Wandering the house, he looked for some form of entertainment. James hated being bored.

Kyrin, having had a long day, got to her feet. "Shut up." Her eyes were shining with unshed tears, not because she was hurt, but because she was tired of the day and she had become extremely angry. Taking a few steps up to him, she took a swing at his face.

Draven laughed aloud as he quickly moved his head to the side and launched his hand out grabbing her fist in his hand, “need I remind you who you’re dealing with” he said, a dangerous smirk on his face, “little girl” he was openly mocking her and the worst part of it was, seeing her on the brink of tears was making him feel better, somehow seeing her like that was building a defense against the pain he was feeling inside. It never took much to be cold, but to open up like he did, that’s a whole other story.
Draven used his hold to try and thrust her hand back to her body and push Kyrin back from him, giving him the space he so desperately wanted, it was a simple maneuver but it could easily hurt Kyrin if he pushed to hard or she jumped to the side, which would bend her wrist and over-balance Draven making him fall forward and possibly break her wrist, but those were only possibilities.

James heard their arguement before he saw it. But when he passed that doorway, he definitely noticed. "Kyrin!" His hand went immediately for his gun, pulling it out, the butterfly pendant attached to the end making a small noise. He would not hesitate to kill Draven if need be. He wasn't that overly fond of him anyway, and it would be a good excuse to put a bullet between his eyes. He stepped into the room. "Get away from her." Deadly, frighteningly serious. Though he was smaller than the other man, and skinny, he could hold himself with such power that it hardly mattered. It was something he had picked up over the years.

With the force that Draven put against her arm, Ky caved and back away. As Draven spoke to Kyrin, she became even more angered, but as James came into the room her anger just about dissolved as she felt safer with his gun pointed at Draven. Kyrin moved to stand near James, her hand falling to the pocket of her butterfly coat. She fingered her gun.

Draven quickly drew his guns, they were empty but did Kyrin and James know that? No he thought. Draven let another growl escape his throat, “by the time you pull that trigger you’ll both be dead, now is that what you really want?” Draven said, his tone mocking. He was almost past the point of fear now, the only thing that could get him to back down would be Kyrin or Daren, but neither were there for him now, not that Kyrin ever was there for me, he thought before returning his attention to the two standing not to far from him, “just tell me where that god damned bar is Kyrin”

Kyrin could tell that Draven was hurting, but he had pulled his guns and there was nothing she could do now. Kyrin spoke in a low tone, trying to sound soothing, trying to restrain her anger. "Draven, I'm sorry I hurt you." Kyrin didn't know what it was that she had done to upset him, but it obviously hurt his ego.

James lowered his gun, but placed his free hand on the lower part of Kyrin's back reassuringly. "Please, don't hurt her. You really don't need to, and if you do, you'll really cause more trouble than this is worth." He spoke slowly, evenly.

Draven’s heart sunk seeing the contact between James and Kyrin, so that’s why… he mused as he lowered his guns and gave one more cold glare, this one fell far short of the mark and looked as if he was begging her to come to him, and cradle his broken heart. Before anything more could be said Draven walked to the doors, replacing his guns in their holsters, “k’mon, I’ll buy the happy couple a round”, he said moving out of the door and into the street. The crisp spring air was doing wonders for the headache he felt coming on along with the nauseating pains of depression.

Kyrin removed her hand from her pocket and was confused again. He is jealous of Jamie...? She wondered as she heard his words. Ky glanced at Jamie and excused herself quickly, following Draven. She stepped out behind him and said, "Draven, wait, James and I aren't together." She said this like she was defending herself. She felt as though she was someone else.

James watched, if only to make certain she wasn't hurt. He hid his gun again, and stayed in the room he had been left in. At least he wasn't bored anymore, but he figured he'd rather be bored than worried for his friend's life.

Draven arced a brow and turned to Kyrin, “you come out here spouting lies”, his voice was cold and showed no hint of emotion, “it’s obvious enough how you two feel about each other” near the end his voice was barely above a whisper, but this time no tears tried to escape from Draven’s eyes, it was if he’d finally accepted the point that he wasn’t going to ever have Kyrin, I’m just not her type, she enjoys small and rather frail men, he thought with disgust.

Kyrin's mood swung again. Here I am, trying to make him feel better, telling him the truth and he goes and calls me a liar!? It was true that Kyrin had feelings for James, and the more she thought about it, the more she realized that she was betraying Craig, with her heart anyway. And as she continued to think about it, she also realized that Draven was an incredibly good looking man, and incredibly skilled to top that. She hadn't had the time to get to know him as she had James, and she knew that was what he was seeing,...Or at least that's what she thought it was.
"I'm not lying to you." Kyrin said evenly. Somehow, though, she couldn't bring herself to tell him about Craig. What is wrong with me..?

James realized, after he had decided there was no more threat to Kyrin's life, how amusing it was to him that Draven had assumed they were together. Sure, he was partial to Kyrin, but not that way at all. He really couldn't imagine being with her intimately. He sometimes thought that was not the same for her, but at the moment it was not a topic of conversation, so he pushed it from his mind.

Draven looked at her questioningly his eyes clearly showing the doubt he felt inside, “I don’t know what to say Kyrin”, he said. He was baffled to him they acted like a couple he even thought they might have been sleeping together. For some reason that thought brought another bout of pain to his stomach. Draven sighed looking Kyrin in the eyes, “well if that’s true then I have something I have to tell you”.
