Grayed Katane 6. Heh, Graye got caught pretty quickly, didn't she? I'm kind of glad, a chase scene would have really delayed the plot. O_O;; *sputters* It's... it's all a part of my plan! domokun Well, she hasn't been caught yet, what with the leaping and the lover-ing and all.

It's funny, since I sort of figured it might be Alliance but I had to read this in a hurry because of the lack of air conditioning and everything, but when I was going to sleep last night I thought it might be William and...yeah. Another point for "go with your first inclination".

More in depth now:
It's really awesome that you're tying the characters together through pasts and relationships, while looking at it from Mory's perspective. Mory's not deeply attached to anyone else, so through her eyes we're just as lost as she is until you reveal things. <3
Mods, I'm scared of Rue. XD
It seems you've made inserts based on people's comments, though I'm not sure whether you already had such notes planned. For example, people asked what Danti was doing as Kyraa was given the Rue Torture Special, and that information is included in this newest chapter.
Arc! You broke my heart. ;__; How could you, big brother?
(BTW, somebody save me from Rue, please; we don't seem very warm toward each other at the moment... <.<;; )

As I read:
a) Aww! Ananel's so gentle...poor Danti, poor Kyra!
b) Wait, pronoun usage makes it a little ambiguous as to who Arcadian's little sister is at first. Or maybe I'm just tired. I don't know. sweatdrop

I didn't have trouble following the pronoun use. Anyway, more character development is always good. More insight into the link between all the characters. Also, as Grayed mentioned, it was good to see one of the scenes through Mory's eyes. Different viewpoints, as I said before, are always helpful to the readers. Quote: "I wonder," Alliance mused, "if this is what they mean when they say that adventuring is just a big family." Priceless. It's a small world, ne?

That was refreshing,like lemon water on a hot muggy sticky day,cant wait for the next chapter.I like how the characters are being presented, but a question, Mory doesnt speak much, and all we know of her is 1)princess 2)has brother 3)abdicated 4)called back, ninja secret?

Hahaha I keep getting tied up this is so awesome!
I love the revelations in this chapter. Ananel better spill next chapter, or I'll bleed him out! (I don't know, I love that for some reason.) And being bound and gagged while watching anyone--let alone a close friend--being tortured does sound pretty horrible, yeah. Of course, if our positions had been switched, the dramatic tension might have lessened a bit...
Rue: *twists Danti's arm* Say Uncle!
Danti: I'll never--OH GOD UNCLE! UNCLE! WHY AREN'T YOU STOPPING? WHYYYY? I SAID IT TWICE! UNCLE!
This is, of course, excepting my status as a Kyramazon--I mean, Kamrin, where my assumed rigorous training in sneaking around and "bleeding people out" might have influenced my tolerance for pain. Maybe.

I was picked up on a rescue mission and now I'm just chilling until we find out more about that particular plotline. Although I hadn't thought about using me as a window into the story. THAT was inspired. Now that I think about it, I really don't know any more of what's going on than the reader does. In fact, I know a heck of a lot less. That makes me a perfect point of view. Said it once, gonna say it again. This is SO awesome. whee heart
