Im pretty sure Kissing someone on the check and it being that intense in that scene is not a friendly gesture.
Well in season 1 Lex was actually Clarks friend. Besides researching him and stuff.
He only wanted the best for him and he wanted him to be happy.

No i really don't think it will resurface intimately, I can see it happening as just friends. They have sucked the life out of that couple, if they put them together again i will literally rip my hair out.
