But she did not let go of his arm. Not fully. Her hand slid down to his & Relm smiled up at him. It curled almost loopily across her maw, as if she herself was surprised by her actions. As the song started over again she giggled, a blush warming her cheeks & her eyes dancing. "I... um... "
Her blush deepened, and Relm found that she was still bouncing a bit to the music. Suddenly the pictomancer was laughing at herself, though she was not sure why. She just felt too good.
Laughing she tugged on Keme's hand gently. "Come on!"

Keme chuckled lightly, giving her a toothy, happy smile, "Hehe, ok! But you are a great dancer Relm!" he says, letting her lead the way back to his tree.

Relm paused at the compliment, stunned with disbelief. She blinked. Once. Twice. Then her smile returned lighting her eyes. Still holding his hand in hers she spun to face him, stood on tiptoe with her free hand on his shoulder for balance & kissed Keme tenderly with some trace excitement bubbling over from her song in one quick, fluid motion.

Keme blinks when she suddenly stopped and looked at him like that. He started to worry he said something wrong, but is delighted when she suddenly leaned up and kissed him and he kissed her back, his hands going on her waist, his tail wagging.

Secure with Keme's hands on her waist she moves her hand from his shoulder along the back of his neck to cup his head. Her tail curves to curl around their waists to pull them together on the opposite side of where her hand in his was held against her waist & she purred softly.
When she pulled back from the kiss Relm was slightly breathless. She did not move away from him -just leaned her shoulders & head away the slightest bit so she could look Keme in the eyes. Her own eyes glistened with love & happiness. "I'll dance for you."
That was not quite what she wanted to say, but her mind seemed to be a little woozy from her jubilation itself. Perhaps he would make the connection to how Relm had said she would sing for him, when she would sing in front of no one else to see that dancing was in a similar category -if not an even more stingent one.

He kissed her back passionatly, his own tail wrapping around them as well. He purred when she pulled back and blushed when she said she would dance for him and he smiled lovingly, "That would be wonderful Relm..." he whispers, reaching up to brush some hair from her face.

Her eyes flutter shut as Relm leans ever so lightly into his hand as he moves the errant curls. "Keme..." His name comes out like a prayer.
As if they have suddenly gained weight Relm opens her eyes slowly & only partway. A content smile graces her lips. "We're not to your tree yet."
It was supposed to be 'let's keep going' or 'come on' or 'take me to your tree, Keme' but Relm's brain did not seem to be functioning in ways she would usually have prefered. Except for a blush, the pictomancer did not seem to mind.

"No, we don't seem to be, do we?" he whispers back, not minding the fact they are just standing there, looking into each others. He leans down and kisses her again, but much more gently this time, but still pouring his love for her into it.

She sighs softly, closing her eyes as she tenderly kisses Keme back. Relm feels as if her heart is going to beat right out of her chest. It feels as if the rest of the world does not matter -only Keme mattered. Suddenly it did not matter to her where they were at all. They could have been in a room filled with others for all Relm cared at that moment, pressing close to Keme.
Not that her thoughts went beyond the taste of his lips & the feel of their bodies close together.

Keme held her close, just kissing her, also forgetting about the world around them for those precious few moments. He lets out a soft sigh when he finally pulls back and he kisses her forehead. Then he pulls back from their embrace and takes her hand, leading the way back to his tree, a soft, almost dreamy smile on his face.

Relm smiled softly as they drew apart. Her tail slid from Keme's waist when they moved to go, trailing lightly down the back of his leg. Although she did not lean on Keme as he led her to his tree her ear flicked gently against his arm from time to time. She gave a happy little sigh, her heart dancing to the beat of her song -since her legs were good for little more than walking one foot in front of the other right now.

Keme hummed softly as they drew closer and closer to the area where his tree was, his own tail wagging slowly behind him, occasionally brushing the back of her legs. He smiles when his tree comes into view, still leading Relm toward it.

Shivering lightly at the touch of Keme's tail moving the fabric of her pants against the back of her legs Relm smiles up at the taller male. She feels light, being in that familiar & beautiful place -with Keme.
"Want me to paint that blanket now?" She asked softly.

With an impish smile Relm paints a large and fluffy comforter that will more than cover them in size. The base colors are a blend of Keme's fur colors on one side, and the faded red, green & yellow of Relm's clothing colors on the other. Both sides have an embroidered image of a pair of sixteenth notes entwined with a paintbrush in the center. Her eyes twinkle merrily at the hummingbird male as she "lands" the blanket on the root bench he is heading them towards. Tilting her head coquettishly at Keme she grins, a brow raising as if asking what he thinks.
