1) Abortion. Only good in select few situations. Rape or incest are good cases in which abortion is okay, and if the child would be mentally damaged beyond repair and wouldn't be able to live a full life (think kids in wheel chairs that have no real brain functions and wear diapers their whole life) is also a very merciful thing, in my opinion. 2) Teen sex. As long as it's safe, why not? Another thing that wouldn't be done quite as much simply for it's illegality and more because it's a privilage. Just keep it safe, that's all we need! 3) Teen pregnancy. Something very disappointing. Use condoms, people!! You're ruining your life, and chances are, you're ruining your child's life. If you don't have a good stable situation, it's not good for any of you. 4) Gay marriage. Civil union, not neccissarily marriage. Marriage is religious, and homosexuality is against the Christian religions for the most part. Sure, ceremonies are nice, but you don't NEED to involve God to have equal rights!! 5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference). What is there to say about sexual preference? To each their own. I don't think you should go around parading it, I mean, unless you happen to be asked about it, why tell someone? 6) Suicide. Very depressing. I try not to think about it, but hey. I don't like the concept, because all the survivors of that death would be left to suffer.... And question why, and feel bad that they couldn't've done anything to help. 7) Self-harm. Not a good thing. It's hardly ever NOT a cry for attention, but at the same time, people get sick of it. I have friends that annoyed the hell out of me by always talking about how they cut NOT for attention, but to take away the pain. Then they'd be picking at their scabs during class stare 9) Love. All for it, in every way! I would like to fall in love, but I'm not one to fall fast. There's a guy I really like right nwo... But I don't know if he knows it or not... He's here on Gaia, too ninja 10) Drugs and Alcohol. Legalize Marijuana, but take away privilages if they are abused. Lower the drinking age; if it's not illegal and exciting, teenagers wouldn't over-indulge whenever they get the chance and wouldn't think they're being cool because it's all illegal. Make it legal to maybe, 12 and up? Look at how well Europe's youth are doing with drinking! 11) Religion. Not neccisary, and definately problematic as it divides our nations, even our country itself, further. We even have a tendency to pick our presidents based on religion! If religion wasn't such a big deal to everyone, then life would be easier FOR everyone
My name's Shannon, I'm fifteen, and I'm bisexual. I also happen to be a girl, but my RPC is a guy, so my avvie is a guy. Isn't life wonderful? If you think that, you're crazy. But that's okay. Crazies are the best! But go ahead, leave me a random comment, send me a random PM, I'm always up to meeting new people and getting into INTELLIGENT discussions with them. Or I'll just be your friend to randomly comment you back heart Hope someone actually reads this sweatdrop

Hey!~ Piney, 13 (xD) the U.S.
Abortion: Pro-choice, I'd probably never do it, but if it's rape, or the child will come out deformed, or either the child or mother or both will die it's a good option. Teen Sex: Young teens having sex is a no-no. But older teens, yes, as long as they don't get pregnant. Teen pregnancy: Look, a girl in my grade got pregnant with a 16 year old, while dating someone her age, last year. We were in 7th grade. If you're going to make a horrible parent, then just don't get yourself pregnant. Gay Marriage: Yes. Just yes. Homosexuals don't wake up one morning and go "I think I'm gonna be gay, that would be so much fun!" And people say that why should we care about marriage, shouldn't living together be enough? No, there's many benefits to marriage. Homosexuals should be treated the same as anyone else, because they are no different. Suicide: No ones life can truely be that horrible, I think. Self-harm: Kids who go emo and start cutting themselves because it is a trend ARE NOT depressed. People with real disorders such as OCD have reason, and they are the ones who need help. Love: Eh, middle schoolers dating and saying "I love you" after two days is complete bull-crap, believe me, I tried it, middle schoolers don't know anything. Love in adults? I'm not sure... Drugs & Alcohol: Drugs? Sure, if you wish to ruin your life, some drugs people put waay to much emphasis on, if people didn't obsess over telling kids how bad drugs are then they probably wouldn't want to try them as much. Believe me, I'm surrounded by drugs everywhere, legal and illegal, I've seen what a little bit of steroids can do, when my mom had to take some that were given to her by the doctor. The only reason kids at my school do drugs is because that's just what skater kids are known for in our district, and because people will give them the reactions that they want. Lower the drinking age, not to super young, but maybe around 15 or 16, when kids were allowed to drink alcohol they didn't abuse it, when no one was allowed to drink alcohol everyone abused it.

Hey everyone! I'm bubbleofdoom. I'm a 16 year old girl who lives in Ontario, Canada. Thanks for letting me join! mrgreen
1) Abortion- Pro-choice 2) Teen sex- Do whatever you want as long as you're responsible about it. 3) Teen pregnancy- Obviously you want to prevent this, what more can I say? 4) Gay marriage- All for it! 5) Sexual preference- Totally kewl with anyone's preference. Live and let live man. 6) Suicide- I understand why someone would do it. Sometimes you can't see any other way. 7) Self-harm- What's so wrong about it really? Other than people who don't do it can't seem to understand or to deal with it. 9) Love- Why not? 10) Drugs and Alcohol- Once again, do whatever you want as long as you're responsible about it. 11) Religion- If it helps you then it good thing, just don't preach to me.

Hello. heart I'm Sylphiechu, or Bonnie. I'm new to Life Issues, but not new to Gaia, although I took a long break for a while. This is my second account, and I started in '03, I believe. I used to hang out in GD, but when I came back to Gaia I decided I really hated GD now due to most of its mean-spiritedness.
I wondered around in different forums and sub-forums to find one I liked posting in, 'til I finally found LI. I liked ED for it's interesting discussions and tons of information, but I'm really not much of a debater and I prefer just to lurk. I love some anime, but most of the posters in the anime forums were hyper squealing fangirls.
Then I remembered LI and tried that, and I found I really liked it. I'm in college now and majoring in psychology, and I want to be a counselor, so advice-giving is something I like to do. Plus there aren't a whole lot of trolls and mean people compared to other forums - posters are required to be at least somewhat respectful, since it is LI. So I stayed. I'm still new, but I really like LI.
Other than that, I'm twenty, female, asexualishkindof (still don't know what to call myself) and I'm studying witchcraft. Like I mentioned before, I have an interest in psychology and counseling. I also like to decorate clothing. And I adore some anime, such as Fullmetal Alchemist and Revolutionary Girl Utena. :3 Anyway:
1) Abortion: I'm pro-choice. I wish some people would use abortion more responsibly, instead of just as a kind of birth control, but I think it should be legal.
2) Teen sex: I'm iffy on this one. I am by no means a "sex after marriage" kind of person, but I do think that some teenagers are too young to be having sex. It really depends. 13, 14? Usually, no, unless they're very mature. 17, 18, 19? Sure. All in all, it depends on their maturity level and if they know what they're doing. (Birth control, etc.)
3) Teen pregnancy: Usually not good, but I've seen some teenage parents pull it off. Although I think it's way too young to be having children. It's a big responsibility, and people should wait until after they are sure they can support the child. (Plus teenagers who have children tend to miss out on a lot.)
4) Gay marriage: Completely for. I have a girlfriend, and if I want to marry her, I don't see why I shouldn't be able to. Equal rights, please.
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference): I'm for heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, asexulity, and pansexuality. Although, in my personal opinion I think everyone is capable of being attracted to either gender, even just a little.
6) Suicide: Er.. it's bad? Although, I completely understand how many people can be led to attempt it. People like this need care, and not to be yelled at about how selfish they're being. But I hate it when people say they're going to commit suicide for attention.
7) Self-harm: I don't know much about this subject, but I think it's dangerous and people who do it should be persuaded to stop and get help.
9) Love: I love my girlfriend, I love my sister, I love my friends, etc. But romantic love is one of the most wonderful and terrible things. It's very scary, but it can be worth it.
10) Drugs and Alcohol: My mom is an alcoholic and my dad is in rehab for alcohol and drug addiction. They also had many many drunk druggie friends who were crazy. So I've grown up hating drug and alcohol addiction. I can't stand it, and I plan to never touch the stuff. Some people are responsible about it and I don't mind, but I can't stand it when people are addicted to it.
11) Religion: Good and bad. I believe that it should be a personal thing, and that people should find their own beliefs that make them comfortable and not be pressured into a certain religion. Do what you want, and I'll do what I want. As long as no one is harming anyone. I can't stand preaching, though.

Well I got accepted and you can call me peaches, sammich, swee, the 'shroom.... soo... here are my views...
1) Abortion.- I am for it, if the mother doesn't want their child, it's her right, and by ignoring her right and making her have the child it will be born unwanted and that ignores humans rights and the mother may abuse the child, or the child might get thrown in the garbage. 2) Teen sex - I really don't know.... I might...... no... I don't know, as long as its protected... (birth control perferrably) 3) Teen pregnancy - totally against it unless the father will care for it and they have enough money to support it. 4) Gay marriage- Don't mind, I am bi, I would consider marryign a girl i ever fell in love with one. 5) Sexual preference - it doesn't matter what sex you like, god gave us a mind to be free willed. If you love someone you love them, sexuality doesn't matter. 6) Suicide - Uhmmm........ it's..... horrible....... 7) Self-harm - I don't know.. I've done it.... that's about.. it... I don't want anyone else to do it and I won't do it anymore (I promised not to anyway) 9) Love - hurtful and scary and confusing..... I don'twant to love until I'm old enough to understand and comprehend. 10) Drugs and Alcohol. - no problem.... as long as it's not abusive and no one is abused.... hey, it their life. Just no hardcore drugs... it's totaly not cool (E, cocaine, heroine, etc) 11) Religion - I myself believe in god though all my frieds say he doesn't exist and he's a stupid damn b*****d.... they don't know I believe in him, and I don't think of speaking up anytime soon...... but I pray to him.
Well I don't trust main forums, anyone could see what I say, and people there aren't really helpful, some post harsh and mean crap and they don't even know what their talking about, so I stick to talking in guilds.
I like getting advice cause I'm so damn unsure of EVERYTHING I do. I try my best to give advice but I am not that good about it (unless it's on love, I can give pretty good love advice, but not 100% of the time)

I'm AerynsMommy a.k.a. Rachel. I'm 19 and a PROUD mother 1) Abortion. I am FOR it AND AGAINST it. I feel that it shouldn't be done unless a.) life-death situation and health issues b.) rape c.) or if the girl is UNDER 16. I feel that 16+ ought be mature enough to owe up to their responsibility. If they felt they were old enough for sex than their old enough to raise a baby. BUT it is also a woman's choice (and I feel it ought to be the father's choice too. I mean if HE wants to keep than she should at leats consider it. Its his child too) to do what she wants to do. 2) Teen sex. depends on the person's maturity. 3) Teen pregnancy. I was pregnant as a teen. But it depends if the pregnancy was intentional or not and the person's age. 4) Gay marriage. FOR IT!!! Some of my best friends are gay and I LOVE THEM!!! 5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference). You can't stop love. 6) Suicide. Against it. There are better options out there. Besides its selfish. 7) Self-harm. Depends. 9) Love. Above all things I believe in love <333 10) Drugs and Alcohol. Alcohol yes, drugs bad. 11) Religion. Mankind would die if they didn't have faith at least in a little mustard seed.

Hi! I'm Megan. I'm 16, From the US. I'm a Night-Owl, Big Time. Oh, and Extremely Open Minded.
Anyhoo, Here's this thingy. whee
1) Abortion. Nyehh.. . well.. There are some reasons for Abortion, that piss me off, like Selfishness.. But, Still, If a woman wants to abort the fetus INSIDE OF HERSELF, she should be entitled to the right to. And use that to the fullest extent. I don't know what you would call me. Pro-Choice? Perhaps?..
2) Teen sex. I think, because of all the Teenagers having sex. People should try to educate them more on how to prevent STD's and unwanted Pregnancies. Because, Personally, As a Teenager. If their going to do it, their going to do it. So all we can really do is educate.. right?
3) Teen pregnancy. Teenage Pregnancy is not as horrid as everyone thinks it is. I have quite alot of friends, In real life, and online, who are Teenage Parents. Sure, they may not have been expecting to have a child this early in life, but now for those expecting, it's a harsh lesson on reality. . . Mehhh... D:
4) Gay marriage. Why shouldn't Homosexuals deserve the Right to Happiness like everyone else? I truely support Gay Marraige, and I wish that alot of other people would, too..
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference). Too much pressure and judgement is placed now, upon one's sexual preference... I think.
6) Suicide. The man who was like my father offed himself. Personally, I don't find it selfish at all. I think it's selfish for one to WANT them to stay in a world that is only causing them great distress. Then again, I believe they'll return via Reincarnation.. so.. yeahh.
7) Self-harm. Hurting Ones self isn't the answer in the end. It's a terrible, temporary solution to a problem. And it still never really fixes it. All it does is release hormones into your body to make you feel better, and calm down. Though, Sadly, I practice this form of "Coping". 9) Love. I DO believe in "True Love" and I believe that one soul is meant for another. And is always meant for that ONE specific soul. But, through time, And through the Many Bodies our Souls inhabit, the People Differentiate. But the souls. . their the same.
10) Drugs and Alcohol. Drugs. Bad. Why turn yourself in a Vegetable? But I respect them, all the same. Alcohol? .. What can I say? Alcohol-ISM, is bad. But a drink now and then isn't too rough. I mean, I enjoy one. oO;
11) Religion. ..Ehhh. I have respect for all Religions, until they try to tell me their god is "THE GOD" Then, yeah. Doesn't fly with me. Personally, I don't believe in God, and I take great amusement, in mocking the Christian religion.

Prolly should have done this before, but better late than never, huh? The name's Tony, age 16, and I live in the U.S. Michigan, to be more exact. (It's a great state, except for the fact that the city I live in is a semi-frozen hellhole)
1) Abortion. Your body, not theirs. Do what you want with it. That's it. Shouldn't be anyone's business but your own.
2) Teen sex. As long as you're not a complete idiot about it, go right ahead. You know, protect yourself. Who am I to tell you what to do with your free time? I know if it was me, I'd be doing the same.
3) Teen pregnancy. Result of a stupid decision. If you're going to have unprotected sex, you need to be prepared for the worst. In this case, this probably is the worst. Unless there's an unaccounted for problem (Hole in a condom or something) you've got nobody to blame but yourself.
4) Gay marriage. <******** yes. Homosexuals deserve all the rights to happiness and such that straight people do. If it offends you to call it marriage, call it something else. Just make sure you don't infringe on anyone's rights.
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference). Shouldn't really be an issue, I think. Too much pressure gets put on that kind of stuff.
6) Suicide. Many people, including myself, have considered or even attempted it. I don't think it's smart, though. All you're doing is hurting everyone else around you so you can stop the pain of your own life. It's a fool's way out, and one I never want to take.
7) Self-harm. Can I just say, I have NO idea why anyone would do this. I know it's supposed to help you cope with your pain or something, but it just doesn't make sense to me.
9) Love. I like the concept. I know it exists, at least for me. I love my sister, and that's a fact. She's about it, though, since my parents are really screwed up and she's the only one I had when I was going through a lot of s**t. You can read about that in my thread about my family. I don't think I've ever been in love with anyone, but I'd like to be.
10) Drugs and Alcohol. Drugs are the epitome of ignorance. Pure and simple. As for alcohol, I've watched my dad halfway destroy his life thanks to it. I won't say I'll never drink, I'll just never drink as much as he does.
11) Religion. I'm an atheist, as you can see by my signature. I enjoy getting in debates with people over the subject of religion, since it gives me a chance to display my linguistic skills, which I don't get to do very often.

Why do you have limegreen font? I would say around a year ago I started looking for a new color other than black. I didnt want the same old thing that everyone else had. For a few years now I was using a black background with lime green font on AIM so I decided that I would just use it for Gaia too. Yes, I highlight the text every time that I put to put in the color. Its not really that much of a hassle and I think it takes longer to color it because its such a habit. No, I never really saw it as a problem for my eyes; it was never hard to read with the white background. That's exactly what I did! I didn't change my gaia font colors to green because, even though I can read it, I know others will complain. Also green is just one of my favorite colors.

Better late than never right? If I were part of a political party, it would be the party that believes in not being stupid. Seeing how this isn't capable for either left-wings or right-wings, and the other parties are more focused on different things, I guess I'm in a party alone. That's ok, though. That's how I roll. (I remember Lewis Black once said the republican party is a party of bad ideas, and the democrat party is a party of no ideas. In Congress, a republican will stand up and say, "I have a really bad idea." and a democrat will stand up and say, "And I can make it even shittier.") I don't think I should tell you anything about me that is identifiable. I don't know how many people out of you are stalkers capable of hacking my computer so I'll play it safe. My family is funny in its own way. I remember my dad telling me not to go to school in Wisconsin. He said I'd be closer to the North Pole. He said I'd have to deal with the Polar Bear crossings. My mom makes jokes about how I'm not a happy person (I guess I'm not hah), and my sisters have the best comebacks. Apparently we're not white. We're Indian with all the quirks. And yes, Indian Standard Time is very true. Not the feather headress Indian, the Dot-head Indian. That should sum it up for the idiots. Most of my beliefs rule for listening to your body and against doing stupid things. What about the overlap? Well that's when your brainpower and willpower come it. Please use them wisely. I used to be tired of stereotyping my personality just based on the clothes my parents make me wear or the fact that I was Indian. I was also annoyed of people asking for homework help just because they knew I understood the material. Nowadays I don't really give a damn about many things because I'll be getting out of here soon and I just don't feel like wasting the time or energy. I) AbortionPro-choice. Again, the stupidity of getting pregnant several times and just using abortion as a birth control... really pisses me off. In rape cases I believe it is ok. In accidents I believe it is up to you. Some mothers may feel like they can take on the pregnancy, even if they give the baby up for adoption. Some women, however, may have complications and may die if they have the baby. Especially in the case of the woman being married with a child already, if she's going to die in childbirth then she should abort or at least save herself in the emergency room. Her husband needs a wife and her child needs a mother. Also, in cases of mentally retarded children if the retardation is going to be severe then I believe it is ok to choose to abort the baby. I don't care if mentally retarded people are people too. Think of the life you're putting that person through just because you made them live. That person never grows up. He is always a baby and always needs to be attended to. That person may find simple joys in everyday things that we overlook, but that person may always feel out of place. There are tons of people with good lives who try to kill themselves because they feel out of place. I wouldn't want to force an out-of-place feeling on anybody. Again your stupidity is accountable. 16 cigarettes a day while pregnant lowers your baby's IQ by 12 points. I had to teach a girl with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome how to march for marching band. She had the attention span and learning capability of a 5th grader on her good days. Normally a 3rd grader. It was one of the most difficult experiences I ever had. Usually when there is something wron gwith the baby, the body rejects the pregnancy and aborts the pregnancy itself. However there are some times when things don't go normally. I would never put my baby's whole life time in jeopardy just to keep the baby alive. I disagree with anti-abortion reasons for anti-stem cell research. There are bioethical methods to stem cell research and stem cells can only be retrieved 10 days after fertilization. You don't even have to take the whole fertilized egg. You can just take one cell in the blastocyte and grow that one cell to form many cells, while you let the rest of the blastocyte develop just like a normal infant would. II) Teen SexAgain, avoid stupidity. If you feel the most non-stupid thing to do is abstinence, then more power to you. After all, there are other ways to entertain yourself, and safer ways to pleasure each other. If you absolutely have to have sex then do it as safely as possible. Get the Gaurdasil shot. Use condoms, Use birth control. Don't have sex with people who share needles using needle drugs (again... another stupid thing to do). With all the sex education out there, I think most of us know when we're about to do something stupid sexually. If we just paid attention to the part of the brain saying, "um... you're about to do something F-ing stupid," we'd probably have a lot less problems. Again, there is no such thing as "safe" sex except no sex, so it all depends on the degree that you keep it safe. As long as you can keep it as safe as possible, you can worry the least about it and then you can have fun with it. If you're not even going to have fun, then don't bother. It's not worth the hassle. Sex, to me, is an art form and should be treated as such. Not something mundane like working the same shift at a plastic utensil making factory every day. Also the peer pressure. That's just stupid right off the bat. If you're going to do it for a stupid reason like that, you should be kicked in the head. Just don't do it if you don't feel liek it. The peoiple who pressure you aren't really your friends. And if they don't even pressure you, but you feel like you should be like them, maybe you should reevaluate your morals and beliefs. Somewhere in the brain there is a part solely dedicated to telling you when something is stupid. You can choose to ignore it, or maybe take the advice for once. III) Teen PregnancyStupid Stupid Stupid. Some people do this on purpose. Maybe they actually wanted a child, or maybe they were going to marry anyway and they wanted to start right away. Ok. Good for you if you can handle it. Just as long as you can stay healthy during your pregnancy. Especially as a teen, more often than not miscarriages happen because of unhealthiness. However, if you were just too stupid to use protection, why did you even stick it in the first place? IV) Gay MarriageI'm going to quote AgentPingoX69Oo on this one AgentPingoX69Oo 1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning. 2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall. 3) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans. 4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal. 5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed. 6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children. 7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children. 8. ) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America. 9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children. 10) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract. That's the best at being sarcastic I'll probably ever be... Anyway, when anti-gay-marriage is backed up by religion it makes me want to punch a small child. I'm pro-gay marriage, but anti- gay-straight alliances in colleges. As I was checking these out most of them said that straight members of these alliances could proudly display support banners, but could not reveal their sexual preferences. To me this is bogus. A gay person in this same alliance can proudly say that he is gay. It would make me even more proud to say I'm straight and I support gays. It's a type of hypocrisy and it's stupid. I would march in gay support parades and help out at fund raisers. Why shouldn't I be allowed to say I'm straight? I support them. Can't they support me? It's an alliance - not a dictatorship. V) Sexual PreferenceI love the diversity that comes with different types of sexual preferences. I would rather have everyone having their own personalities, than have only one type of preference allowed. Zombified robot people piss me off. VI) SuicideI believe it depends on the person and the situation. I normally take no p***y-like behavior. Drinking and doing drugs counts as such. If you're going to be strong enough to live I believe you should try to pull through. I know that's harsh and difficult, but that's how I've brought myself up (this is how I've lived most of my life) and that's how I'll bring up my kids. Don't get me wrong. I will have compassion. I will be understanding. I understand that maybe someone is just having a bad year. You can pull through or if you feel you can't take it, shouldn't take it, and it wouldn't matter if you didn't take it, then the decision is yours. If a friend of mine did it I would be stricken, but you see I've been attracted to friends who at least try to get through their problems. It just comes down to the person, and in most cases that I've seen suicide, I can understand why the person did it in the first place. With things like this I'd rule more of understanding and, dare I say it, mercy? VII) Self-harmDepends. Alcohol, pill-popping, and needle drugs are all self harm. These actions damage the liver and nervous system. Smoking puts harmful carcinogens in your body. Cutting... well it leaves scars. that's not half as bad as scarring your liver. New skin cells are made everyday and skin scars can heal (unless you cut too deeply.. .then you'll probably need it sewed back up). However, drinking scars your liver which is a very important organ. I guess in this case there are levels of stupidity. I'd be willing to help anyone with their problems. I wouldn't just write them off as stupid because they are participating in one of these behaviors. I would encourage them to stop, however. IX) LoveDude, don't even get me started. I have just given up on the entire subject. I'm cold, bitter, and insensitive. I don't need anyone else, except my family. If you'd like to persuade me otherwise, go ahead. I'd like some more insight in this subject. Secondly, what happened to number 8?? X) Drugs and AlcoholWow in the answering of other questions, I think I already answered this. They're stupid. They harm you. I can understand if you're just relaxing after a long day with a joint or with a beer (or maybe both). Sometimes my dad will have a harsh month and he MIGHT drink some beer on the last Friday night of that month. However I just feel that it's ignorant to want to solve all of your problems with drugs or alcohol. These things take away the pain temporarily, or just give a different kind of pain. Alcohol damages your liver. You need your liver for when your bone marrow no longer makes reb blood cells. Think of how ******** you're going to be if you screwed up your liver when that time comes. Plus, drugs and alcohol just make you horrible at sex! Like I said, sex, to me, is an art form. I would NOT hinder it it drugs or alcohol. Don't tell me Ernest Hemmingway was a great writer and he was always drunk. Have you seen his work? His 7 word sentences? Yeah I like his stuff, but I'm not sticking up for drinking just because he was a good writer. They say he was sober when he wrote his literature ... (HAH) XII) ReligionFor as long as I can remember I have been engrossed with religion. Seeing all the different stand points, I am atheist/satanist because I disagree with the ideas the white-light religions try to teach. I believe it was a nice try at getting people to realize how much of douchebags they were being, but it was misguided. Also Anti-religions, like the people catholic priests call "satanists" who are actually anti-catholics, are just plain stupid. If you really dislike a relgion that much, just ignore it. What are you solving by breaking into a cathedral and desecrating the eucharist? As for non-white light things, you'll notice that those non-white light religions aren't actually religions, but systems of beliefs. As usual, I have no respect for stupidity and ignorance. If you blindly believe in a religion without even questioning or learning the religion's history, yet you swear it's the way to go, I see no possible way that you could be respectable. It's those kinds of people who just don't think that piss me off. Most white-light religions also push an overbearing theme that ignorance is bliss. This is why I could never never NEVER go back to a white-light religion. I'm sorry, ignorance just doesn't cut it with me. People who just openly display their ignorance around me make me want to punch several small children. Apparently, this is where most of my frustration comes from. Just be glad I don't find myself in a nursery when these ignorant people are around.

1) Abortion: It's her body. The kid will only grow up feeling unwanted when they learn that they were a "mistake". 2) Teen sex: Should not be done until at least age sixteen, and only with someone you really love and trust. 3) Teen pregnancy: Shouldn't happen. 4) Gay marriage: Is fine. 5) Sexual preference: Love who you want to love. 6) Suicide: Life is the greatest gift you will ever receive. Do not throw it away. 7) Self-harm: Why would anyone want to harm themselves? You are the last thing you want to harm. 9) Love: Hurts. It can be wonderful, but only until you fall. 10) Drugs and Alcohol: Should not be partaken by anyone, regardless of age. They cloud the mind and dull the senses. Now really, is that a good thing? 11) Religion: Beleive what you want.
My name is Alanna. I am thirteen.

Hello Im Red. Real name is Nadia (pronouced Nad-ja) but everyone knows me by Red, Im 20 years old, love to read, get into long educational or just plain fun discussions, I surf a lot Im totally in love with the ocean and Im getting married soon.
My Views on:
1) Abortion.
I dont aprrove of it, I know there might be some extreme cases like rape or health issues that might make some people think its ok but to me abortion is murder no matter what. If you dont want the child then simply put it up for adoption when you give birth. If there theres a big chance that it will be born with a disability, then you know what...thats nature. It happens. Dont terminate his/her life just because you think you're doing him/her a favor. Give them a chance to live no matter how short their life might be. Although I dont approve of abortion I do believe strongly that a person has a right to choose for themselves, I would never get an abortion no matter what the situation but that does not mean that I will judge someone that has done it, will do it or otherwise approve of it.
2) Teen sex.
I'm pretty neutral when it comes to this subject, of course like any other person I dont think that a 12 year old should be having sex because mentally and physically they're no mature enough, but if you're 16 years old and having sex because you consider yourself an adult and think its cool or all your friends are doing it so therefore you have to do it too...then you know what you're stupid and should grow up. If you're old enough to have sex you should be old enough to take responsibility of any of the consequences sex brings like pregnancy, STD's and REGRET! if you can handle that in a mature way, then be my guest.
3) Teen pregnancy.
Well I wouldnt say that I don't aprove of this, I would definately like to see a lot less teen pregnancy than thre is in this world. It makes me sad to see young girls having their childhood/teen years cut short because they got pregnant. I'm not trying to say that their lives are ruined because they got pregnant, but they had to grow up a lot sooner than they should have. This is tied with my believes about teen sex. If you think you're old enough to have sex, they dont cry and b***h and moan when you get pregnant. Grow up, take responsibility for your actions and be a parent. This goes for guys too.
4) Gay marriage.
You can't choose who you love.
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference).
Like I said before. You can't choose who you love.
6) Suicide.
It's not the answer. That's all I have to say about that.
7) Self-harm.
I used to do it so Im not going to sit on a high chair and say its wrong to do and BLAH BLAH BLAH. But I will say that although it can be a temporary relief. It's not the answer.
9) Love.
Love is beautiful, but it comes hand in hand with pain and heartbreak, you can't have one without the other. It's a very bittersweet emotion, but Im sure no one would choose not to have it.
10) Drugs and Alcohol.
Don't use them.
11) Religion.
To each his own. Believe what you want to believe, as long as you believe in something.
