In a word? HOLYCRAPOURSON'SGROWINGUP! Well, alright, perhaps that's more than one, but that's how I felt when I went into Damien's room to check on him as he was sleeping and found he no longer fit on his bed. I was far too jubliant to worry over that then, scooping him up and dancing around with him like some drunken sailor after an all nighter. He giggled and tried to dance in mid air, likely not realizing exactly why I was so giddy.

We pranced right into the master bedroom, just so I could plop down next to Lenore and ask her teasingly if she wanted to wake up and see something wonderful. After a couple of failed attempts, I finally got her to open one eye. The other soon followed, and a bout of staring began. Damien won, as Lenore blinked far too many times for there to be any contest. I do believe that was the tightest hug our boy has ever had in his life, though it likely won't be the last.

We have so much to do with Damien now that he's of the age to start his real schooling and training. Of course I'm leery of thrusting him into anything he doesn't want to do, as I don't want him to grow up too fast as Shina did. Of course it may already be too late, as even now he has a 'grown up' air about him. I'm wondering if it's my fault my children all grow up so fast. Even Vinyn doesn't act like the little girl she really is. Something to discuss with Lenore over tea.

Joy! Our baby is growing up!

I can't believe it, not really. I want him to be tiny forever. I really don't want to deal with schools, and dating, and everything else that comes with age. At this rate, he will have hormones and might become as horrible as Nyoka!

I don't want another Nyoka. . . .

Alright, I am panicking. Calm down, you idiot. . . .

It was a nice thing to wake up to, though. Damien staring at us, and looking as happy as can be! He's so handsome! *note to self: watch the girls he meets. . . .*

Eirnae brought up something interesting. She seems to think that she makes her children mature too quickly. That's just nonsense. Everyone in the manor (well, not everyone) seems to have a maturity about them. If Damien seems older than he is, it is not just one person's fault. It is everyone's, if we want to put blame somewhere. And I told her that. We've never really spoken to him in baby-talk. We've always treated him as though he understands us, no matter what, and he has never proven otherwise.

I don't think it a bad thing. He still behaves as a child should. He plays outside with the animals, he swims inthe koi pond. He's not locking himself in his room and never leaving. At least from what I have observed this frist day. I will keep an eye on things, as it seems to be a slight bother to my love.

Eirnae and I promised to go read to him before I went to bed. He loves books, which is good, as we have an extensive library in the study. I wonder what he has chosen for us to read. . . .

September 20, 2004

This is going to read much like a 'status report', I know, but I really want to jot down how our son has been during the last few days. Perhaps one day I can have him look through this and we'll smile together over how things have changed, or even how things have stayed the same.

What has our Little Prince been up to? Mostly going into the library, either with his sisters or not, and gathering up a bunch of books before finding a comfy place to settle in for a good long read. He's turned Vinyn down three times in the last two days when she's asked him if he'd like to go outside and play, him being far too engrossed in the book he was reading to want to abandon it right then. Shina tells me that he's read through almost every book I have that even hints at elven weapons and fighting styles. What could he be up to?

That's not all he's been doing, of course. He was all for us starting his schooling as soon as possible, and with as many family volunteers to teach him various subjects as we have, there has been no end to the things he says he's learned. Emmy was especially proud when Damien asked her if she would show him how she does the cooking and cleaning so well. At first I thought she would just thank him for the compliment and leave it at that, but instead she agreed to teach him when he has the time. Leave it to Damien to get Emmy to share her secrets.

Damien has many a tutor, as I said. I told him I would handle his combat training as soon as he picked a weapon he'd like to learn first. I'm still wanting for his answer on that, but I won't remind him again till tomorrow. Lenore will be taking over his potion studies, though he's just starting on the basics. Nyoka said she would try to help with that as well in her 'off time'. With Ernia to take care of, it's no wonder she has so little free time these days. Calavel volunteered her services to train Damien in the ways of magic, something that really got Damien excited. According to her lesson plan, he starts that in two days. She's already given him an empty tome to fill with the spells he'll learn over time. As for his 'meat and potatoes' lessons, like math and history, Lenore and I are sharing that responsibility. We keep each other updated on what lessons we want to do each morning and go with that. Maybe one day we'll get more technical about it, but for now this works. I would include Vinyn in Damien's studies, but Shina's basically taken over her schooling entirely. Eira and Harry constantly sit in and listen, and it would be amusing indeed if they prove to catch on to the lessons.

Damien's taste in clothing has changed somewhat. Lenore is very amused by his sudden interest in soft while elegant fabrics, joking that he is just trying to live up to his nickname. If that's the case, I swear he is not getting a crown from any member of this family, if I have my say. Fine taste in clothing is all well and good, but getting a large head over oneself is not. Damien is an attractive youth, that's true, and I won't tell him otherwise. However, I put my foot down on the crown. Why am I so insistant? Lenore thought it would be cute if we commissoned a crown for Damien, just as a 'We're really proud of you, son!' gift. I am proud of him, but I'm not about to give him delusions of grandeur.

I'm glad that Damien has gotten out and made some friends at the Maternity Clinic. I hear that he's played with a few of the children, even though he doesn't often talk about them. I wonder if our Damien is shy? No, that cannot be it. Perhaps he's just wondering how to be a friend to these children he rarely sees. We definately need to visit the clinic more, if only for his sake.

Busy. So busy.

I feel like I am in Hogwarts again, only with no handsome Potions teacher to stare at.

Ack! Did I write that? I hope Eirnae never stumbles upon this. . . .

Yes, just like Hogwarts. All of these studies Damien has! I'm sure he will be a quick study, though. It took him next to no time to learn to read the words that my love and I were reading to him nightly. And, now, he devours all of the books he gets his hands on.

Eirnae seems to be worried about him getting a "big head" over himself. So, I jokingly (though I really don't think she took it as one) said we should get him a crown.

Wow, I've never really seen her look at me in such a manner. I blushed! Not in the usual, good way either. Then, I think I kind of mumbled and shuffled out of the room. . . .

But, my love and I were talking about getting Damien out more. He has made some friends, but he never gets to see them very often. We need to remedy that. What if he is all intellect, and no social skills? Damien, the hermit! I cannot let that happen.

It's just a little harder with him. Everyone in my family is always so outgoing, but he seems reserved sometimes. Prefering to study people rather than interact. Not that he is anti-social. He speaks quite politely when he is spoken too. And, when he is at ease, he seems positively charming, and inquisitive. Asking questions of people.

But, I would not have him any other way. I just don't want him to become one of those people that everyone is scared of because they never speak and only stare. . . .

Enough of this. I'm making some tea, curling up in bed with Eirnae, and hopefully sleeping through the night without dreaming of potion ingrediants and graphs. . . .

Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar
The mid-morning sun shines down on the grassy clearing near the center of the Emerald Forest, bringing welcome warmth and comfort with its rays. The animals of the forest have long since been up, going about their business of collecting substenance as the birds trill during their short breaks between dives for food. This region is green and lovely at this time of year, the forest lush and peaceful.

At least for a while, anyway.

"Mooo-oooother!" echoes in that once tranquil clearing, and once again the silent calm of the morning is shattered by another minor family 'emergancy'. Such is to be expected with this many young people living in the same house, spacious or otherwise.

Eirnae carefully flips the pancake she has in her frying pan, not losing a beat despite Vinyn's hollar. "Indoor voice, Vinyn" she reminds her daughter in a calm tone, glancing over at her cooking partner, Emmy, with a smile. Getting Emmy to let her help cook this morning had been a task in itself, and thus this small problem is really nothing in comparison.

"But... Arlath took my apple!" Vinyn declares, pointing over to the 'apple thief', who just happens to be eating that very apple slowly as she points out some unusual variations in a particular ruby she is showing to Lenore. Arlath doesn't even look up to accknowledge Vinyn's accusation, taking another bite out of her apple and pointing out the next flaw in the gem to Lenore with a finger nonchalantly.

"How was it your apple, Vinyn?" Eirnae questions, flipping the pancake again, "Are there not more in the bowl before you? Don't cry over something that can easily be replaced, dear." She pauses before adding, "Though next time perhaps you and Arlath can agree on which apples belong to whom before either bites into one?"

Arlath nods once, though she doesn't look up from her inspection of the gem, which is enough for Eirnae. She knows her adopted daughter heard her just fine, and will take her advice into consideration. Back to the pancake preparation for her!

Shina shakes her head at the fuss and takes an apple for herself, though from the opposite side of the bowl than what is facing Vinyn, just in case. She's not interested in hearing that keening wail again. She does crack a small smile at the trickle of amusement her actions provoke in Arlath, noting that her elven sibling notices a lot more than she gives away.

Eira rearranges herself on Damien's shoulder, peering down at his plate of apple slices inquiringly. "'Mien no eat?" she asks plaintively, glancing over to the side of her ward's face. "Want Eira taste?" she responds before he can answer, rising to her feet on his shoulder and hopping to the tabletop, scurrying over to scoop up an apple slice and nibbling on it.

Damien smiles, as he had been waiting for Eira to do that. It's become their little tradition at meals for her to taste his food before he touches it, like she is his royal food taster, protecting her liege from possible poisoning. Well, not that he sees himself as the prince his mums keep calling him. Princes are either one of two kinds, from what he's read, and he's not so sure he resembles one or the other. They are always either extremely brave and resourceful, or lazy and wicked. How can he be a prince, when he is somewhere inbetween?

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Lenore has to smile when Vinyn wails. Her eyes twinkle when she looks over at Arlath. She listens intently as she points out all the little things wrong with, what she thought, was a perfectly good ruby.

"Well, remind me next time to take you with me," Lenore says. "Maybe I won't be taken advantage of."

Arlath nods, but Lenore also gets a tiny, shadow of a smile. She'll settle for that.

"Lap," Ernia demands of Nyoka. "Mum feed."

Nyoka shakes her head. "Look, princess," she says, a bit irritated. "You're feeding yourself. You wanted the fruit, you eat it."

"But . . ." Ernia widens her eyes and droops her wings as she looks, pitifully, up at Nyoka. "I want mum feed me!"

Nyoka rubs her temples. "Please, Ernia. Feed yourself. You need to learn," she adds, though she knows perfectly well that Ernia can feed herself.

Ernia pouts and slouches in her baby chair, poking at the apple slices with a feathered finger.

After his food has been tasted, Damien takes a slice of apple and bites into it. What he is really waiting for are the pancakes! "Does it taste funny to you, Eira?" he asks, looking at his guardian thoughtfully.

Harry, not liking the fact that Eira is getting his attention - again, puts his paws on Damien's leg. He nuzzles his leg, wanting pet.

The stupid women gave him cat food again. How many times does he need to show them? Raw meat! Looks like he will be going hungry again. . . .

Rayne Winner
Jing was sulking, he had been telling Rayne all morning how hard it was to find this place, how much a difficult time he had getting to just the place around it and how many times he had gotten lost. And yet here they were arriving not to long after she said that they would, "You used that magic of yours!"

Rayne's foxen tail twitched a little and she held in a giggle, "For the last time I dont have a spell that would help me find my way around. You know that your just mad that you couldnt find your way out of a closet if you had a compass and map."

More sulking.

And it didnt help that the whole way here a brown ball of fur had been chewing on his arm, Muffin as the little beast had been named was handed to him to carry. The cat seemed to sense what he really was and didnt much like him for it. Muffin let out another low growly sound and there was a moment where Jing was about to toss him in the swamp. Course Rayne gave him that look and he pet the cat as if that were his intention the entire time.

Smiling Rayne turned and lifted a hand to knock on the door. She hoped that someone was home.

Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar
As this manor and its grounds have very few visitors, perhaps it shouldn't be all that suprising that the moment Rayne's hand hits the door to knock at it politely no sound comes of the action, though the shadows to the right of that door shift and materialize into a darkly fleshed elven woman with dazzling blue eyes. "What business do you have here?" she asks in a polite if clipped tone, her arms casually at rest near her sides, though it would be fairly obvious that her right hand is loosely gripping the hilt of a very long sheathed sword secured at her waist to a glinting mithril sword belt. "That the Guardians let you through leads me to believe that you are of no threat, and have been informed of this location previously. Convince me of this, and you may pass."

Seemingly boiling out of the surrounding timber and stone as well as the tall grass by the koi pond, a large gathering of various beings assembles in a half circle several feet behind the manor's visitors. They don't look very friendly, all eyes on the drow female addressing this odd trio as if waiting for the signal to attack or leave them be.

Eirnae pauses in her gathering up all of the pancakes onto a serving platter, knowing that something is not quite right outside. "Were we expecting someone to visit today?" she asks of everyone in the room as she turns and strides to the table, setting down the platter with care.

"No Mother, not that I recall," Shina answers immediately, sliding the platter closer to her so she can begin serving everyone their usual preferred number of pancakes. She isn't concerned, as she feels no hint of evil intent anywhere near the manor.

'Well, if Shina isn't worried...' "I'm sure it is nothing, then," Eirnae says out loud after her brief moment of contemplation, scooting back the chair to the right of Lenore and sitting down in it, pecking her love on the cheek before getting further settled. Wait... Why is Harry near the table? "Lenore, didn't you just feed Harry?" she asks as she gets back to her feet, walking around the table to head over to where the assembly of food bowls are against one wall. One glance into Harry's answers why he isn't eating. "Lenore, why did you fill his bowl with Sitha's moist cat food?" she asks as she bends down to retrieve the dish and take it over to Sitha's empty bowl, scooping out her carried bowl's contents and dumping it into the new one before heading for the kitchen sink to wash Harry's. "He only eats raw meat, remember, melamin?"

Vinyn waits for her round of pancakes to be passed, though she is looking across the table to Ernia curiously. She has already forgiven Arlath about the apple, and now has moved on to a much older grudge. "'Oka, if she won't eat her apple slices, I will!" she offers cheerfully, not realizing she may actually be helping more than hindering the situation.

Eira shakes her head at Damien's question about how her apple slice tastes. "Good, good! Sweet too!" Of course now that the pancakes are going around, she gets excited. "Maple stuff soon!" she squeals, having long decided that maple syrup is a gift from the gods themselves.

Arlath finally sits down at the table, in the seat to Lenore's left. She continues to eat her apple in silence, though her sea green eyes take in everything going on. She doesn't mention it, but she is slightly on edge. If Eirnae noticed something, then there is the possibility for danger. She stays on alert, as one can never be too careful.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Lenore, whose brain has been all over the place since Nyoka told her what she wanted her other costume for Halloween to be, looks at Eirnae blankly. "Oh! Gods, I forgot. . . ." she says, smiling appologetically.

Harry turns his nose up at Lenore after Damien pets him. With his tail held high, he pads over to where Eirnae is making his correct breakfast.

Then, Lenore's brow furrows again. "The door? Who . . ." she chews on her lip, thinking the worst, and glances over at Damien.

Nyoka's tail wraps around her bow and quiver, which she has discarded on the floor next to her chair, and she checks to make sure that her wand is in her hair, as usual.

Then, Lenore laughs. "Oh, mela," she starts. "I told you. Rayne and Jing were going to be coming by. Remember? We discussed it the other night. . . . I didn't know exactly when it was going to happen. . . .?"

Nyoka's tail loosens on her weapons and she sniffs the pancakes. Making a face, she picks at the sweet stuff.

Ernia glares at Vinyn and her feathers puff out. She hisses, having gotten good at it from listening to her mum, and throws an apple slice toward her. "No touch!" she cries, her glare never leaving Vinyn. "Stupid peasant. . . ." she mumbles.

"Ernia! If I have to tell you one more time. . . " Nyoka warns, glaring at the girl. "You appologize, now."

Ernia pushes her plate all the way away from her, having lost her appetite completely, and clicks her beak furiously. But, she glares at Vinyn again, and mumbles, "Sorry."

Damien raises his eyebrows. He should be used to this sort of thing by now. . . . It doesn't make him like it any more. . . . He sighs and smiles at Eira. "Yes, the syrup is on its way," he tells her.

Lenore stands. "Maybe I should get the door. . . ." she says. It is then that Faen scampers past her.

"So sorries, mistress!" he squeaks, pausing only to bow deeply at Lenore. "Was cleanings the study. So many bookses!" and he rushes off. He opens the door and looks at the scene outside. "Oh dears," he squeaks, shaking his head. "Mistress Calavel," he starts. "Mistress Lenore and Nyoka is expectings them."

Rayne Winner
Needless to say that someone showing up to say that they were allowed to be there was more then a liftsaver. Rayne was stuttering trying to think of a way to keep the three of them from being lynched by an angry mob while Jing looked all to much ready to draw his own weapon. Something that wouldnt make taking any easier.

"Y-Yes. I brought a gift for Damien." She said finally able to get a sentence out now that she was a little bit less nervous. She pointed, "The cat, not the swordsman. I think Nyoka has laid claim to him at the moment."

Jing gave Rayne a look.

Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar
Calavel listens to first Faen's words then Rayne's, her catching Jing's look to the female accompanying him provoking a hint of smile on her otherwise neutral visage. "If you are expected, then enter. However, know that should a single mishap occur to endanger a member of this family, I will know of it." She then abandons her assumed to be comfortable position against the wall, straigtening to brush down the front of her travelling leathers before turning slightly and walking into the deeper shadows being cast by the house, disappearing in a swirl of darkness after a few steps.

The band of various animals disperses, going back to their prior activities now that they no longer need to guard their home from possible danger. Had the Guardians sounded the alarm before the trio got to this point, they would have worked as a team to take down the threat to their home and family. As things stand, they are more concerned about breakfast than introducing themselves to the visitors.

"Come in!" Eirnae calls as she scoops out choice bits of meat into Harry's bowl at one of the kitchen counters, oddly knowing that the door had opened and that they had company even with her back to that specific direction, "Make yourselves comfortable!"

Vinyn catches the tossed slice of apple in mid-air, but not with one of her hands. A light gust of wind curls itself about the slice and floats it gently down to Vinyn's plate, only after which does she scoop it up and take a bite out of it. "No need to apologize if you don't mean it," she replies, taking another bite of the apple slice and swallowing before adding, "Thank you for the apple, though," in a tone that drips with innocent sweetness.

Shina ignores the bout of sibling rivalry between Ernia and Vinyn, as she knows from past experience that butting into that long standing mess only serves to get your own self dirty and nothing solved. "'Oka, Mother made you a special plate. I'll pass it down to you," she says as she hands a plate full of artfully carved thin slivers of raw pork, all curled into a shape much resembling the blossoming petals of a morning glory over to Arlath for it to be passed down the chain to reach Nyoka eventually.

Arlath relaxes somewhat as the others do, but it isn't enough to calm her entirely. She stays keen on the possibility for trouble, as always, even as she passes on Nyoka's plate. Now there is something to ponder that the fruit and vegetable loving elf allows herself to puzzle over for a moment. How can raw meat be healthy?

Damien need not even ask Eira if she wants to test his pancakes for him, she's already flown over to where the closest tiny pitcher of maple syrup is and has flown back with it secured. She pushes it closer to Damien, practically bouncing in anticipation of the sweet stuff that pitcher holds. "Pour, 'Mien! Pour!"

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"We're in the kitchen," Lenore calls from her seat next to Arlath. She smiles at her. "Don't you think her eating habbits are disgusting?" she asks, grinning at Nyoka.

Nyoka shrugs and takes her plate. "Thank you, Mum Eirnae," she says happily. "And you, sis. Thank you for that bit of good news. . . ." she says, referring to her food.

At this point, anything would be good news.

Ernia hisses at Vinyn again and opens her beak to speak. Nyoka quickly shoves a bit of pancake in her beak. Ernia turns her glare to Nyoka, but chews on the food. When she opens her mouth to yell at her mum, Nyoka shoves another bit of pancake in her beak.

Finally, Ernia turns her back on Nyoka, and keeps her eyes away from everyone at the table.

Harry circles Eirnae's legs until she is done putting his food in his dish. Once it is before him, he pounces it, and starts eating greedily. This is the stuff!

"Alright, Eira," Damien laughs. "Just. . . . not as much as last time? I got sick. . . ."

Then, he looks over at his mum. "Thank you for making the pancakes, mum," he says, smiling at her. "And thank you, Emmy, for letting her help," his smile turns to a grin.

"Yeah, thanks again Mum Eirnae," Nyoka says, poking her tongue out at Damien playfully. Show off.

Faen is practically hopping from foot to foot. "Will you be comings in? I show yous to the kitchen! Comes!" he squeaks, motioning for Rayne and Jing to follow him.

Rayne Winner
Rayne looked down at Faen and smiled, "Yes. I thank you." She said to the one leading them. She looked back at Jing a little wide eyed, "Wow. My heart is racing." She said then blinked, "What?"

"Next time think to send a message or call ahead." He said looking none to pleased over the welcoming party that they had greet them.

"Well we are here arent we? And still in one piece so I think that we did ok." She told The Snake. The warrior sighed and looked at Muffin.

"Be glad your staying here instead of having to stay with her." He whispered to the little kitty. The rest of the walk to the kitchen was silent for the most part aside from Rayne's 'Ooos' and 'Aaahhs' over the place. Much bigger, much flashier then their little farm for sure.

Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar
"Most welcome, Nyoka and Damien, but you know I enjoy this sort of thing. Making food for my family is always a pleasure," Eirnae replies, looking up at the swiftly cleaning Emmy with a grin as she adds, "Of course I must thank Emmy for allowing me the use of the kitchen."

Eirnae then smiles down at Harry as he eats, daring to pat his head once before heading back to her previous seat. She does pause as she sees Rayne and her companion being led to the kitchen by Faen, coming to a full halt in order to greet them properly. "Welcome to our humble home," she offers warmly once she is sure they are within earshot.

Her visual focus then shifts downwards as she says for Faen alone, "Thank you for guiding them here, Faen. As always you and your wife's help is greatly appreciated. Why don't you go and have some breakfast, mm?" She straightens and smiles at Rayne and Jing, lifting a brow at the sight of Jing's 'passengar'. "I assume that is the gift you mentioned?" she inquires, though she does not point to the cat.

Now that all of the pancakes are in front of everyone, Shina can finally eat her own breakfast. She doesn't dig in till she replies to Nyoka's thanks, however. "Most welcome," is offered with a wink before she becomes absorbed in buttering up her pancakes and then adding a bit of syrup.

Arlath nods once to Lenore's comment on Nyoka's eating habits, though her agreement is only partial. She simply cannot fathom Nyoka's refusal to eat anything else but that stuff, but she doesn't choose to regard it as disgusting, just different. Just before the trio's approach to be close to the kitchen, Arlath silently rises from her seat and interposes herself between that side of the room and Lenore, hands going to where two of her daggers are hidden. She'll wait to see just how 'trustworthy' these folk are before allowing them near those she regards as family. She feels Eirnae can hold her own, and thus is not worried over the moon elf being so close to these new folk.

Shina looks up from preparing her breakfast right then to call over to Damien, "Damien, could you show Arlath the surprise you and I made for her in her room? I think she may have missed it this morning. Don't worry, I'll make sure your pancakes stay untouched and warm for you and Eira."

Eira huffs at that, as she was looking forward to this, darn it! However, she finds staying upset at Shina is like trying to out fly her, she simply cannot do it. "I go with 'Mien!" she announces, before flying up to land atop his head.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"Your welcome, Mistress Eirnae!" Emmy says brightly as she cleans the used dishes happily.

Faen bows deeply to Eirnae. "Doing my job, Mistress Eirnae," he nods. "Faen must goes. Needs to finish cleaning the study." With that, he departs, pausing to bow to Rayne and Jing first.

Lenore holds in a chuckle as Arlath stands between the family and their visitors. "Come, Rayne, Jing," she says. "There's plenty of breakfast, if you are hungry," she offers. Then, her own heavy-lidded eyes move to the cat in Jing's arms. "Isn't he adorable!"

Ernia looks up. She studies Rayne, and then Jing. She offers only a small wave to Rayne. She is wearing her tiara. She simply snorts at Jing before returning to ignoring everyone.

"Hello Miss. Rayne," Nyoka grins. "And hello to you too, Xue. I hope you didn't have too much trouble getting here. . . . or into the manor itself. . . ." No, she is not referring to Jing's horrible sense of direction, but their protection.

Damien blinks at Shina, and then looks longingly at his pancakes. "Alright," he says and slides off of his chair. He walks over to Arlath and tugs lightly on her jacket. "Sis, do you want to see your suprise?" he asks, having caught on by now. So, he makes his best 'pretty-please-puppy-dog' face at her.

He looks at Rayne and Jing for a moment, as he waits for Arlath's reply. "Good morning," he says, smiling at them.

Rayne Winner
Muffin's stops his chewing on Jing to look over at Damien his intense blue eyes looking the boy over and instantly he knows his master. He jumps down from the shoulder of the one he had been riding on. There is a moment when in Damien's eyes only he would look less like a cat and more like a pretty human. When he landed once more on all fours the vision was gone. Muffin ran over to Damien mewing at the boy.

"Hello and good morning everyone." Rayne said then looked over at Damien, "That kitten is our gift to you as I wasnt sure what sort of jewelry to make you." She told him.

Then she looked to Lenore and Eirnae, "Ahh. No thank you. We were just on our way about doing some errands so we will have to take a raincheck on the sitting and eating part. I thank you for your kind offer though."

Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar
"Have to gift and run, I see," Eirnae chuckles, moving to sit down again at Lenore's side so she can start fixing up her own breakfast before it gets cold. "Please remember that raincheck, as Emmy is a marvelous cook, and Lenore and I try our best to keep up with her talent." She winks at Lenore before setting to buttering her pancakes.

Shina turns in her seat to offer their guests a wave and a smile before also getting back to her food, though she does lift her gaze now and then to keep an eye on Damien's pancakes, as she promised.

Damien is now rather torn, as he wants to pick up the cute little kitten, but he doesn't want to let go of Arlath's jacket either. If Shina wanted him to redirect Arlath, what will happen if he lets go? Still, the kitten is a gift, and he doesn't want to be rude...

"Thank you very much!" he offers to Rayne and Jing, bowing without releasing Arlath's jacket. He then looks up at Arlath's softening facial features, shooting her one of his best and brightest smiles as he asks, "Sis, could you pick up my kitten for me? We can take him with us to your room! I'm sure he'll want to see the surprise, too!"

Arlath cannot say no to that sweet face, or to the adorable bit of brown fluff near her feet, so she bends down and scoops up the kitten, cradling him with amazing gentleness against her chest. Once she has Muffin balanced with one hand she reaches for one of Damien's with her free one, turning and heading towards the hallway with her little brother in tow. At least if she is with him he will be safe, and she can check the animal she is holding for disruptive magics, just in case.

Eira is currently eyeing the newest member of Damien's growing assembly of pets, not sure if she trusts this other feline. Of course what she's truly puzzled by is... how handsome he seems. She shakes her head, mentally berating herself for even considering something so silly. Her, take a normal housecat as a mate? Ack! Did she just think the word mate?! She quickly takes her eyes off of the male cat and snuggles down into Damien's hair, muddling over her own assortment of mixed feelings.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"Yes, please," Lenore starts, looking at their guests. "Remember the raincheck. We just might hold you to it one day. . . ." she grins.

"It was nice seeing you again, Miss. Rayne, and you too, Xue," Nyoka says. She looks over at Ernia. "Oi, princess. What do you say to our guests?"

Ernia snorts, but turns to look at Rayne, and only Rayne. "Hope see you soon," she says. "Throw pillows later."

Nyoka laughs sheepishly. "Yeah. . . ."

Rayne Winner
Rayne nodded, "I will be most pleased to dine with you when I am not in a rush." She said then grinned turning to Ernia, "I will have to have him wear his armor next time so we can throw magnets at him."

Jing blinked, "You were the one putting notes on my back with magnets." He grummbled.

She laughed and waved, "Everyone enjoy your meal and your day. I hope to see you all soon!" She said. Then blinked, "Oh. By the way. If kitty grows up to be a... big kitty thats normal for his breed." She said. Then headed out with Jing trailing behind her after waving to everyone himself.

Jiora
Cyrus trudged along after his aunt, looking rather irritated by the whole situation. She was the one who'd wanted to buy all these stupid things - why wasn't she the one handing them out? He grumbled as she set a note down, nodding to him then. He sighed and set a pair of blankets on top of the note so it wouldn't blow away and turned to follow his aunt to the next home on their list.

Note
A blanket to help keep your precious one warm in the colder months.

December 25, 2004.

"Mum," Damien stops his mother in the hallway.

"Yes, dear?" Lenore asks, looking down at him.

"That man we met two days ago," he starts. "How do you know him?"

Lenore shakes her head. "I only just met him, Damien," she says. Sighing, she decides it better to tell him everything. "He claims to be my brother."

Damien nods, thinking a little. That would make Rinon his uncle, right? And that woman his grandmother.

Lenore smiles a little. "Come on. I don't celebrate this holiday, but you have some presents. Let's go and open them."

Damien nods again and allows his mother to lead him to the living room, his mind racing with questions he wishes to ask his mother.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Lenore looks out the window and twirls the very first ring she ever recieved from Eirnae on her finger.

She sighs, Damien notes, for perhaps the tenth time since the lesson started half an hour ago.

"Mum, do you want us to stop?" Damien asks, gently nudging Eira, who is blocking the words on the page of his book.

Lenore gives a distracted "Hmm?" and looks away from the moon and to her son. She smiles a little and shakes her head. "No, little prince, keep reading 'Othello' for me," she says, forcing herself not to look out the window.

After a few more minutes, she lifts her hands and says, "Alright, stop."

Damien does so and looks at his mother expectantly.

"How about you and I take a break from lessons for a few days," she starts. "We can do something fun."

"But, Shakespeare is fun," Damien says. Lenore looks at him, to try and see if he is joking or not. She knows the look in his eyes, and she can tell that he isn't.

"Yes, he is. A brilliant poet and playwrite as well," she starts. At least he inherited her love for Shakespeare, it would appear. "But, I mean a different kind of fun. We can go and see some of your friends, or have them over to the old cottage. You've never seen it. We'll clean it a bit, and then have Rhiannon, or Tinania over for dinner. Or Cyrus."

Damien thinks it over, tapping a long finger on the open page of the book. Finally, he says, "That sounds fun."

"Good. You go and get some rest, and I will collect everything we'll need. We have a long day of cleaning ahead of us tomorrow, so don't put on any of your good. . . ." she pauses, realizing that all of her son's clothes are good, and somewhat on the fancy side. "Well, put out some of your plainer clothes for tomorrow."

"Ok," Damien says. He stands and marks the page in his book. "Can I read a little more of 'Othello' before I go to bed? It's actually a little funny in some areas."

Lenore blinks, and is still a moment. She nods her consent and watches as Damien goes to the stairs. "Gods, at this rate, he'll be far more intelligent than I. . . ."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Lenore and Damien did clean the cottage, but since Neith knows the address of the manor, Lenore thought it would be nicer to have the dinner there.

So, Nyoka is helping Faene set the long table, while Lenore is supervising the cooking Emme is taking care of. Damien is making sure that Eira will be out of the way, and letting the other animals out.

"I'm glad you could get away from the palace," Lenore calls to Nyoka from the kitchen.

Nyoka only shrugs and continues her work, her small wings flapping a little agitatedly.

Damien enters the dining room. "Do you need help, Nyoka?" he asks.

"Sure, squirt," Nyoka smiles, and hands him some of the forks.

"You know, you are setting the table wrong?" Damien asks, frowning a little as he looks at the placement.

"I am, now?" Nyoka says, raising her eyebrows.

"Yes, let me show you," he beams, and does just that.

Lenore chuckles and shakes her head.

Neith-Kia
Four people made their way to the manor. Neith, holding onto Elle's hand with one hand and Winny's hand with the other, and a very pregnant Kia padding along beside them.

Kia knocked on the door, while Neith tried to get the girls to let go of her hands. Normally, Winny wasn't qutie so clingy, but she wasn't as outgoing after her encounter with the moon court. Not until she'd met the people, then she'd calm down. Elle was as she always was, shy about this. But she knew this Damien, right?

"Hello?" Kia called, glaring down at her stomach as she felt movement. "I know, Bug and Bunny, but you got to wait for dinner."

"I still cannot believe you nicknamed them that. It is cute though." Neith told Kia quickly, only getting a big grin in return.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Faene squeeks when he hears the knock on the door. "Comings!" he calls in his high-pitched voice.

"You'd better hurry with the food, Emme," Lenore says, humor in her voice. "We have a pregnant woman coming to dinner as well."

"Appetisers is done, mistress," Emme says, pointing to the two large silver trays, filled with little, beautiful, finger foods. And a third tray with a hot pot of tea, decafeinated for Kia. And two tall glasses of a strange red substance.

Lenore waves her wand and the trays lift into the air. "Come on, Damien," she says. "You too, Nyoka. We'll eat these in the sitting room."

Nyoka sighs and places her hands on Damien's shoulders, leading him out. He's gone quiet himself, now that company is arriving.

Faene, the tiny house elf, opens the door and bows deeply to the guest, "Please, come in," he squeaks, hopping back a bit.

"We're in the sitting room!" Lenore calls happily to the guests. "Come and join us, the tea is hot, and the appetisers are ready.

They all stand, waiting.

Neith-Kia
Neith wasn't as surprised as she might have been once to see the strange house elf creature, and she nodded to it. "Thankyou! Come on girls... it's a house elf, don't stare."

Elle and Winny jumped, looking a bit guilty. They looked away, going inside with Neith.

Kia followed, giving Faene a bright grin. "Hi!"

All four of them made their way to the sitting room. Neith led Elle and Winny over to Lenore, who she gave a hug. Elle stood there nervously, but Winny beamed brightly at Lenore. She was sure she knew this person! And mommy just hugged this woman, so she had to be nice. "HI! I'm Winny! And the quiet party pooper is Elle."

"I'm not a party pooper." Elle retorted, but she still shifted a bit behind her mommy. It was always so strange to be in new places, after all.

"Are too!"

"Are no..."

Neith covered both their mouths then, shrugging helplessly.

Kia made her way to Nyoka, and gave her a brief hug. "Hi! Where is some food? The girls won't leave me alone, they are all like ... KICK... feed me... TUG... starving... KICK." She gestured to her stomach, where tiny movements could be seen rippling across the top.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Faene hurries into the sitting room, and waits for everyone to be seated. He is determined not to let Lenore do his job again. He needs to do the serving.

Lenore smiles, close-mouthed, to the twins after hugging Neith back. "Welcome, Winny, Elle. I think you might know my son, Damien?" she asks, putting her hand on his shoulder.

"Hello," Damien says, a little on the quiet side.

Lenore looks back at Neith, smiling a little. "Well, I'm glad you got here alright," she winks.

Nyoka hugs Kia back. "Behind you," she replies, looking down at Kia's stomach. "Don't eat it all," she says, smiling to show she is joking. "Dinner and desert is still waiting, anyway."

"Everyone, take a seat. I think Faene is waiting to serve us all," Lenore chuckles, waiting for everyone to grab a seat before doing so herself.

Neith-Kia
Neith let go of Winny and Elle's mouths. Elle nodded at Damian, telling him quietly, "Hi, I remember you."

Winny wasn't quiet so shy, she told Damien, "Do you want to be my friend?" as she wandered over to stand next to him. "We can play games!"

"Later, Winny." Neith cut in, gently poking Winny. "Sit for a few minutes, ok?"

Winny pouted, but sat down. Elle sat down next to Neith, still unsure about all of this.

Kia poked Nyoka, and shook her head. "No, I got to make sure they are not too fat when tehy come out. They are already too big, I think." She sat down with a bit of effort, wriggling to get comfortable. She felt like the twins were now tap-dancing on her bladder, so it wasn't exactly easy. "Cog thinks they might come early, so I have to be careful anyway."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"I remember you too," Damien says, smiling a little encouragingly at Elle. As encouraging as a child can, that is.

But, he is soon blinking a little, his sharp sea green and amber eyes looking Winny over. "Uhm, sure," he says, quietly. "After dinner, maybe?"

Lenore settles on a couch, Damien soon sitting next to her. Nyoka sits by Kia, plucking lazily at her scaley-guantlet. She only takes her armor off when she is "human" or sleeping, or doing some important meeting, where she is made to dress like a queen, at that palace.

Faene pours tea and starts setting the glasses in front of the people. He sets one of the cups of red liquid in front of Lenore, and the other in front of Elle. He then picks up one of the trays of food and starts to pass it around.

Nyoka takes one of the patte-topped crackers and pops it in her mouth, while both Lenore and Damien takes one each, along with the little tissue under it, and holds them gently in the palm of one hand. They nibble.

Nyoka shakes he head. Godsdamned etiquette-minded family. . . . She smiles, though. She looks back at Kia. "Don't worry over it too much. If they come early, it was meant to be. But, you are doing the best you can. Don't let the silly fandangle scare you."

Neith-Kia
Elle sniffed at the drink, peering up at Neith. She knew that Neith didn't like this drink, and that she didn't like to see Elle with it. But then, the Lenore woman was also drinking it. So she sipped at it, making sure that her mommy didn't know she liked it. Because Elle DID like the magic juice, it didn't make her sick.

Making a face, Winny picked up one of the pieces of food. She watched Lenore and Damien, grinned and mimiced them. Just like on TV, it was!

Neith just shook her head and sipped at her tea. "How have you all been?"

Kia ignored the nibbling, she wasn't too bothered. She popped one in her mouth, and after swallowing, turned to Nyoka. "I would like to wait just a bit longer, I am not ready for it. One was scary, but two is painful more."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Lenore takes a bite, knowing she will regret it later. She'll be throwing up once her system has had time to register what she is eating. But, the Ring of Ancients that Eirnae gave her almost a year ago has strengthened it's bond to her, and won't let her die.

She swallows her food. "It's been a bit strange around here," Lenore admits. "I've had some strange elves pop up, claiming to be my blood family," she shrugs. "But, Damien is doing well with his studies, and Katharina is settling in a little better."

Nyoka hisses at the sound of the name.

"Anyway, how have you all been?"

Nyoka nods to Kia. "That is understandable," she says. "I'd want to keep them in me as long as I could. . . ."

Neith-Kia
"How did they manage to find you?" Neith asked, although she knew that she'd feel pretty strange if the same thing happened. "I mean, it's not like you've been looking for them as well? I'm glad she's settling in," Neith glanced at Nyoka and back at Lenore, "According to Elspeth, she's a ... not particularly nice."

Elle glanced around at Nyoka in surprise, but instead of being scared... she grinned a bit. Maybe being around these people weren't so bad, because they were like her! ...they weren't like humans!

"Well... Winny got kidnapped by the fairy Moon Court, and rescued." Neith didn't explain all of it, leaving out the worse parts.

"By FAIRIES!"

"Yes, by fairies. Now she wants to be a fairy, right, Winny?"

Winny nodded, and Neith continued, "And not much else other than that, really. Kia's got her eye on her own house."

Kia nodded, unable to speak with her mouth full. Again. Finally, she swallowed and told Nyoka, "It is strangest feeling though, Oka, having moving things inside you. I might miss it even, but not the pain."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"I was shopping for a gift for Nyoka before christmas and a man came over to me. He claimed to be my brother, than an older elf came, claiming to be my mother. I can see the resemblance, but you never really know. . . ." she shrugs, and smiles. "Enough about that. I expect you'll see them soon enough."

Nyoka pipes up about Katharina. "She's a . . . she's a b***h," she says the last in Egyptian, knowing only Kia will understand her.

But, the look on Lenore's face tells her she can get the gyst, from her tone. "She's quiet, and her face sometimes reflects how she is feeling. She's a bit of a blank slate, but you can tell she thinks she is better than everyone else. She just needs to be knocked down a peg or two by someone," she grins. "But, she's very nice, to me anyway."

Damien is looking at Winny and Elle in curiosity. "You were kidnapped by fairies?" he asks Winny. "What were they like?" curiousity is shining in his eyes. He's never seen a fairy before. . . .

Nyoka shakes her head and looks over at Kia. "Well, I'll let you experience that for me," she says, smiling. "You can tell me all about it, once it is done with. . . ."

Neith-Kia
"I would have trouble believing such a story, but then, I've got the feeling that I have no living family. If my father was human, he'd be long gone." Neith shrugged, and glanced at Nyoka. Egyptian or not, the tone was clear enough. "It must be hard, having them come all of a sudden? With such differnet lives, and personalities..."

She could tell her story! Winny liked this, and she beamed happily. "OH! Well, it was scary. They DRAGGED me out and MADE me ride these big wolves, and then locked me up in a room. But the good fairies saved me, they were riding big horses and had swords!"

"That's not how it happened." Elle inturrupted. "I saw her, she followed a boy outside on her own."

"...but he put a spell on me."

Elle rolled her eyes, a kid could never do that. But she went quiet, lettign her sister get the spotlight again. Like always. She was good as a shadow to Winny, and she let her eyes drift over the room curiously instead. Finally, when Winny had goen quiet, she told Damien, "They are tall in their land, with wings like a dragonfly, but in our land, they're only this high," She showed a few inches, "...and not very powerful. But in their land, they can do magic and everything."

Kia made a face, and shrugged at Nyoka. "You have got to come to the birth, and you can see the end part? But it would be nice for you to feel it, it is really strange. Only, it is not always good, because there are organs underneath the heavy babies."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Lenore waves her hand, and then looks out the window again, sipping at her drink. "I'm dealing with them," she says, smiling a little.

"She shredded Aadil's feather," Nyoka says. "She took it while I was sleeping, shredded it, and sprinkled the peices on my pillow."

"She's adjusting," Lenore says.

"So am I, and I moved out," Nyoka shrugs.

Damien shifts uncomfortably. He hates arguing. Instead, he looks over at Winny and Elle. He smiles a little at the back and forth. "I'd like to see some. Just not if they are going to kidnap me."

Nyoka looks back at Kia. "Er, if you want me there, I suppose I can be there," she says, tugging on her hair.

Neith-Kia
Neith didn't say anything, only sipped at her drink. She wasn't going to get into the arguement, so she sat there for a few moments as she gazed around the house. "I hope you got a nice place to live, Nyoka?"

"Get another feather, and wear it around her!" Winny piped up. "She'll get all angry, because she didn't beat you!"

Elle shrugged, sipping at the drink in her hands a tiny bit. "Mommy has a fairy from the land, and she isn't bad. They know about bad fairies now, so they arn't letting them near. I wish I could do magic like them though, it would be nice."

Kia nodded, and wrapped an arm around Nyoka's arm. "I need you there, because you are my sister, and you are stronger than Taka... I need someone strong like you."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Nyoka smiles. "I live in the palace in Greece now. So, I think it is pretty nice," she is grinning now. Then, she pulls her long pony tail in front of her shoulder and displays the three feathers, two blue and green, and one red and purple, in her hair. "I think I got her back," she says, grinning wide enough to show her fangs and winking at Winny.

"I did a little magic once," Damien says, his eyes brightening at the thought of magic. "I gave my mum horns and a tail," he points. "She is a witch, so I think I inherited it. I am learning some basic spells now, and mum promised when I am older she will buy me a wand."

Nyoka looks, a bit uneasily, at Kia. She bites her lip, knowing she is going to regret this, but she says, "I'll be there."

Then, Emme comes running into the sitting room. "Dinner bes ready, mistresses and guestses!" she squeaks and hurries back to the kitchen.

Lenore smiles and stands. "In that case, shall we all go to the dining room? If you'll follow me," she says, starting to lead.

Neith-Kia
"A palace? In Greece? That sounds amazing..." Neith replied, liking the idea already. Kia needed a palace, fit for her and the babies. And Taka needed to buy it, Neith thought grimly.

Winny beamed, nodding. "She sounds mean... but at least your parrot has lots of feathers!" Shows she how much she knew about the fa'e.

"You did magic?" Elle asked, and looked back at Lenore. "Is that how you got horns? I can't do it, I tried to do Filix's magic... but her magic is for fey, she says, so maybe I got to find other magic. ...Can you show me anything after dinner, or something? Maybe I can learn too."

Kia stood up with much effort at the sound of dinner, already feeling starving again. Three stomachs to feed was no fun, she'd decided long ago. She was the first to follow Lenore, then Neith with the twins.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"Yeah, it's nice. All marble and gold," Nyoka says, shrugging. She looks at Winny again and smiles, chuckling a little. "Winny, dear," she starts. "Do you see how I look? And how your sister, Kia, has those feathered wings? Well, my boyfriend, Aadil, has wings that look like a macaw's. These are from his wings," she explains. "That's why I was angry. I don't have much from him, and that is one of the gifts I have recieved from him."

Damien nods, walking next to Elle. "Mum won't let me touch her wand, but," he leans in and whispers "I know where she keeps her old one, from school. I can show you the spell I have been working on, but in secret."

Nyoka shakes her head. She heard Damien, but she's not telling. She's just glad that her "proper" brother is going to do something against the rules. It will prove to her that he really is a child, and not some old, Englishman.

Lenore stands at the table, and takes her wand from her corset. She flicks it at the large trays in the kitchen, and they all start floating to the table. When it is all settled, there is a large, roasted duck in the middle, and a rare-cooked steak (as Elle refuses to just set out raw steak anymore) to the side of it for Nyoka. Various vegetables, and other sides are set out as well.

She waits for everyone to be seated.

Neith-Kia
"Gold... I love gold." Kia replied to one part, rubbing her stomach. "I hope my babies like gold, I can then give them gold jewelry when they are bigger."

Winny nodded, understanding. So she collected feathers from her boyfriend? "He should give you a sparkly ring, they're pretty. But boys have cooties anyway."

Elle grinned at Damian, and nodded as she whispered back, "That would be goood... maybe I could try magic too, you could teach me." The cooties comment was ignored by Elle, who had long ago decided that if she had fangs and had to drink magic juice, cooties weren't going to bother her anyway.

Neith watched Lenore arange the table, a little enviously, her own magic wasn't quite so obvious and instant. But she sat the girls down, helped Kia into a seat then sat herself down.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"Yes, but if he gave me a ring, I would have to marry him," Nyoka says, winking at Kia. "And I am not sure I want to marry a boy like him. He's really meee~an."

Damien nods a little, unsure if he could actually teach Elle anything. He has only mastered two spells himself, so far.

"Everyone can serve themselves," Lenore says. "Think of it as a . . . buffet, just grab whatever you like."

Nyoka grabs up the whole raw steak and nothing else. "Where's the wine?" she asks, having grown accustomed to having it at every meal, save breakfast, since her return to the palace.

Lenore flicks her wand lazily and the bottle comes floating to Nyoka.

Never completed.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Lenore opens the door for Damien. Her son shifts the pack on his shoulder, moving the weight of the large book he is carrying with him into a more comfortable position.

Once inside, Damien looks around with large eyes. "Mum, this is your shop?" he asks, staring at all the thin boxes on the shelves all around the room.

"Yes, little prince," Lenore says, smiling.

Lucius comes out of the back room, his head down. "Welcome to -" he stops when he looks up to see who it is. "Ah, Mistress Lenore," he says, grinning. "And, Master Damien. Have you come to show him your shop?" he asks Lenore.

Lenore shakes her head, grinning like the proud mother that she is. "I thought it was time for Damien to get his wand," she says.

Lucius raises his eyebrows in pleasant suprise. "Did you, now? Well, come on, Master Damien," he says, walking around the counter.

"Actually, Lucius," Lenore says, stopping him a moment. "I am expecting someone else," she smiles. "I think Damien would like to have one of his friends here with him. . . ."

Lucius nods.

Krista DarkAngel Silme
Krista appears with a crack, she looks around her face hidden by her hood. She looks to Tinania who had on her little cloak, she was holding her mother hand looking at the shop. All these things look like the wand her mum and sister had.

Krista smiles and squeezes Tinania's hand "You ready to go inside to support your cousin?" Tinania looks up at her mother and smiles "Yes mommy I am. Can we go to the candy store afterward?"

Krista smiles as she pushes the door open "Yes we can little fairy." she smiles and looks towards her family "Sorry were so late, I forgot all about the time..." she holds her arms out to Damien and smiles "Come give your aunti a hug Little Prince."

Tinania looks around the shop her eyes wide. She had never seen so many wands in one place, her wing flutter alittle as she looked around.

Neith-Kia
Neith held onto Elle's hand, as they continued shopping. They both held three bags each, but it was Neith who looked like she was having fun. Elle just followed with a resigned 'I give up' look, clutching onto bags of clothing she knew she'd hate to wear.

It was while they were shopping, that Neith had an idea. Why didn't she drop into Lenore's wand shop, to see if her friend was there? She hadn't seen Lenore for a long time, and Elle could do with some sort of social life. Apart from the night life she'd been having...

"Come on, Elle!" Neith led her in that direction, pushing at the door. She glanced around, a little surprised to see... well... a small crowd. "Hello!"

Elle stood there, clutching onto the bags and stared at the wands instead of the people. She didn't know people could make so many.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien smiles, and drops his pack carefully by the counter before he walks over to Krista and hugs her. "Hello, Aunt Krista, hello 'Nani," he says. "I'm glad you are here. I'm a little nervous. . . ." he admits in a soft voice.

Lenore chuckles. "It's no problem, Krista. We only just arrived."

Lucius is first to look up when the door opens again. "Welcome," he says, to Neith and Elle.

Lenore turns toward the door, and her smiles grows a little wider. "Neith, Elle, so nice to see the both of you out and about. Welcome to mine and Lucius' shop," she says. "Damien is going to get his wand today."

Damien looks a little sheepish now. He didn't think quite so many people would be in the shop. "Hello Miss. Neith, and Elle," he says in his shy manner.

"Let me pull up some chairs," Lenore says, waving her wand. A chair for each person present appears, height appropriate, of course. "Sit, I'll go and put the kettle on in the back. I'll be back in a tick."

Damien looks around, rather shyly again. "Can I help you with the bags, Miss. Neith?" he asks, remembering his manners.

Krista DarkAngel Silme
Krista smiles as she pulls off her cloak then takes a seat. She couldn't help but smile remembering what it was like to get her first wand. She looks around as she crosses her leg playing with her ring. She looks up and smiles waving to Neith "Neith hello, long time no see...."

Tinania was still looking around curious, she looks over when she two new people walk in, she tilts her head. Somehow she knew the faces, her wings flutter as she tried to think of the names.

Neith-Kia
"Really? He's getting a wand?" Elle asked, eyes going straight to Damien. A wand! She wanted a wand too, that sounded so cool... Elle crawled onto the chair, ignoring her mother's 'Come sit on my lap' look that Neith had somehow perfected in the past few weeks. Elle was starting to get a bit annoyed at how clingy Neith had gotten...

Neith gave up on that idea, and shook her head at Damien. "No, it's all right. They're very light, all clothing. Hi, Krista. It has been a long time, haesn't it? How have you been?"

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien nods, blushing a little. But, he is smiling.

His nervous excitement is almost another presence in the room when Lenore comes back into the room, magicking the tray with all the cups and the tea kettle to land on the counter. Another plate of cookies is set out as well.

Damien stands, and wanders toward his mother. He looks up at her, his eyes telling her he wants to get started. Lenore chuckles.

"I'll serve anyone who wants tea," Lucius says, putting his hand between Lenore's shoulder blades and nudging her forward a bit.

"Yes, everyone can have tea and catch up while Damien tries out his wand. . . . And, Neith, if Elle has any abilities. . . ." Lenore isn't quite sure if she does. "She can try some wands too. Tinania as well, Krista. I don't know if she is old enough yet, but she can be prepared. . . ." Lenore smiles.

Krista DarkAngel Silme
Krista smiles looking at Tinania "Well I was going to wait until she was alittle older but if she wants to." she smiles and nods "Then she may try out a wand...." she looks to Lucius "I would love some tea, thank you." she glances at Neith and smirk "Let just say its been very interesting....."

Tinania smiles and walks over to Damien she looks at him and nods "This is going to be fun.." she seem happy not a all nervous. She glances at Damien "I bet your happy to be getting a wand..." she looks toward the other girl and smiles "Hello I'm Tinania..."

Neith-Kia
"I don't know if she does. I mean, she does all right with our magic..." Neith leaned over to push at Elle slightly. "Want to try?"

Elle grumbled something, but stood up. She did want to try, but with Neith's prodding... "Okay. Hi, Tinania, I'm Elle."

Neith leaned foward to pick up a cookie, and watched them.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien feels a little stupid, for forgetting to introduce his friends. He just assumed they might have known each other.

"Alright, you lot," Lenore starts. "Just, take down some wands, and wave them around. See if anything happens. It might take you several tries. I went through more than thirty wands before I found mine. I only ask that if the wand is not for you, put it back in the box and set it aside. I can put them back on the shelves when all is finished."

Damien nods, and grins at the girls. "Is everyone ready?" he asks, now buzzing with excitement. He doesn't really wait for an answer. He grabs a wand from the shelf and holds it in his hands. He waits for the others to get one as well.

Lenore goes to sit down with the others. "This is a little exciting, don't you think?" she asks, smiling. "I just hope this is a quick trip. I've got some great ideas for new clothes that I want to try out. . . ."

She looks from Neith to Krista, and back. "I know how Krista has been, but I am not sure about you, Neith. How have things been since last I . . . saw you?"

Krista DarkAngel Silme
Tinania walks up picking up a wand also, she holds it in her hand looking at it. She glances at Damien and smiles then looks to Elle, before glancing back down at the wand in her hand again.

Krista takes a cookie and a cup of tea. She takes a sip of it then watches the kids. She knew Tinania had powers she saw what had happen to Aylana's hair because Tinania had Aylana's wand. She had only hoped that Tinania didn't get all of her powers. She smiles and shakes her head waiting.

Neith-Kia
"Same as ever." Neith shrugged helplessly. "Trying to find a new house, I'm moving out of that damned one. I can't even sleep in it right now, and I don't think Elle ever sleeps."

If Elle had heard that though, she didn't make any remark back. Instead, she turned her back onto Neith more and reached out to pick up one of the wands. "Ready."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
(( RP freedom chosen in this area. . . . ))

Damien nods, and takes the wand out of the box. He waves it, gracefully for his age, in front of him. Nothing happens. He shrugs, and says, "I guess this isn't the one for me," he says, placing the wand back in the box.

"Good luck with that," Lenore says, sighing. "But, if you need temporary residence, my old cottage is available to you. It's really Nyoka's now, but I am sure she won't mind. She doesn't use it."

Krista DarkAngel Silme
Tinania waved the wand alittle, when nothing happens she shrugs and places the wand back in it box. "Hmm this is not as easy as it seems..." she tilts her head to the side and wrinkles her nose up.

Krista laughs alittle and sips her tea, she continue to watch the kids making note of the wands Tinania picked up.

Neith-Kia
"Yes, real funny, everyone laughs when their fiancee kidnaps their child and vanishes." Neith muttered, drowing the tea as if it was some sort of alcohol.

Elle waved a wand, and found nothing happening. She wasn't even sure if she was as magical as the other two, and looked a bit unsure as she tried another wand... which didn't work. When both were put back in their boxes, she glanced up at Damien and Tinania to see how they were going.

Krista DarkAngel Silme
Krista looks at Neith and her eyes flash alittle but doesn't bother to say anything as she finishes her cup of tea. She keeps watching Tinania as she goes through five more wands.

Tinania was getting alittle mad, she had put places down the last wand. She crossed her arms and frown ready to give up when she see this wand that was about 8 inches and a light color in wood.

She walks over and picks it up giving it a slight wave. The light in the room flicker on and off a few time and she gasp looking at the wand. Krista smiles watching her daugther, it seem this wand was made for her.

Neith-Kia
Elle was getting a bit discoraged, and even more so when she saw the other girl had managed. But she still kept trying, if slowly, trying to find wands that she liked before trying them. It was all about following feelings, right, or something like that?

Neith looked down at her stomach, and then put the cookie down. She'd taken to ignoring Krista, pretending that she didn't care about the 'mocking'.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Feeling a little descouraged at this point, Damien looks around at all of the discarded wands. One catches his eye in particular. More for asthetic reasons, really. It reminded him of Alimus, and his mum, Eirnae. It is a rather dark wood, so dark it is almost black, with sworls carved into it that, depending on the person, could look like any number of things. To Damien, they look like smoke, tendrils of it, wrapping around the wand. He picks it up. It's rather long, especially in his child-sized hand. It is impossible for Damien to determine the legth, exactly, and he is too engrossed in looking at it to read the box. With slightly narrowed eyes, he flicks the wand.

Magic! He did magic! He grins, and looks over at his mum. "Did you see that?" he asks, rushing over to her now. "I found my wand!" The relief is in his pose, and the excitement.

"Yes, darling, I saw," Lenore says, proudly, and she promptly puts her thoughts about her two friends bickering out of her mind. "I'm so proud of you!" she exclaims, throwing her arms tightly around Damien.

He suffers through it, but once it is over, he hurries over to Elle and Tinania, still grinning.

Krista DarkAngel Silme
Krista smiles at her daugther then to Damien "Congrats Little Prince. And congrat Little Fairy...." she looks at her watch and frowns as she stand "Lenore I would love to stay but I must be going I have to go do some shopping. I will talk to you later." she hugs Lenore then nods to Neith before looking to Tinania "Come on Tinania..."

Tinania looks to her mother and nods before turning to Damien "Congrat Mein. I have to go okay "She hugs him then curties to Elle "It was nice meeting you Elle."

Grabbing her cloak she hold her wand near her chest before waving to every as she follows her mother out the door.

Neith-Kia
Elle watched them both as she idly waved wand after wand around. She didn't think she'd get any so... what the hell was THAT?

"Um." Elle stared down at the wand she'd picked up, almost as if she was afraid it'd suddenly go 'KIDDING' at her and blow up. It was a pretty wand, as dark as Damiens but with a white wood handle. And it was smooth and apparently flawless, without any sort of marking or blemish apart from one wood knot in the handle.

"I think this one likes me."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Lenore waves goodbye to Krista, and then turns to beam at Elle. "Congratulations. It looks like you might have some magic after all," she tells the girl.

Then, her watch beeps. Sighing, Lenore stands. "I'm sorry, everyone, I must go," she states.

Damien turns to Elle. "I'm very happy for you," he tells her. "One day, we can study together,' he offers. Then, he goes to join his mum.

"I'll see you later, Neith. I'm sorry to play the rude hostess. But, Lucius will show you out," withthat, both of them leave.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
(( Monday morning, April 18, 2005. ))

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Nyoka pushes the long chunk of fringe out of her eyes, back into the side-swept style she has decided on keeping them in, since the scissors disaster with Ernia. The rest of the shorn hair is messy, as always, as though she has just rolled out of bed. Her outfit is something in the mix of glam and punk, lots of green, black, glitter, and artful tears in the fabric.

Damien, looking completely out of place next to Nyoka, even when she is in her human form, walks through the door his sister holds open for him. In elven garb, and his hair meticulously combed so that no hair is out of place, he is definitely the more conservative of the two. He offers Nyoka one of his rare, full smiles as thanks, adjusting the strap of his book sack before looking around with his curious eyes.

Neith-Kia
"No, you can't go into there." Kia's voice drifted from behind the receptionist area, although there was no sign of her. "Tie, you ca... get out from under there! Tieee... come to Momma. Elle, try and get her feet."

Another voice, although it was definitely more of a 'Why me?' tone answered, "I can't reach her feet."

And then a very happy laugh from somewhere inside the receptionist area, a very young and excited laugh. Tie had crawled into a tiny space underneath the desk, and apparently was having the time of her life sittign there where no big person could get.

Kia stood up, looking flustered and annoyed. She spotted Nyoka, and literally ran to her, clinging to Nyoka with both arms. "Help me get Tiegan out! She won't come out, she thinks it's a game!"

The teenager with Kia stood, Elle looking just as irritated as Kia was stressed. It wasn't her fault. Kia shouldn't have asked her to babysit. In fact, Kia shouldn't have run across the street to buy clothes! How was Elle supposed to know that the little angelic thing would suddenly crawl along the floor faster than Elle could react towards a nice dark area?!

Elle smiled a very weak smile at Damien, scratching her head as she did. The most she could manage in a greeting was a weak shake of shoulders and a wave.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Nyoka chuckles, her bangs falling into her eyes again as she shakes her head. "Let go, and I'll see what I can do," she says, having already grown accustomed to prying one of her best friends off of her. As many times as Kia has clung to her, Nyoka had better have learned by now.

Damine waves back to Elle in a return greeting, getting shy, as usual. With Nyoka busy, walking over to the desk, Damien had no where to direct his attention, not really. He fidgets with the strap of his book sack and looks over at Kia a moment.

Nyoka drops down on her stomach. She plucks the girls name out of her memory, and says in a gentle voice. "Tiegan, come out now, darling," it''s almost a coo, and a little obvious to anyone watching that Nyoka had no idea she could even coo. She holds out a hand to her, hoping, by some miracle, the girl decides to come out, before Kia has a heart attack and strangles her with all of her clinging.

Damien asks, almost to himself, but loud enough for anyone close enough to him to hear, "How did she crawl under there? She's very clever, to have figured no one could get her. . . ."

Neith-Kia
Kia let go and stood back. She spotted the boy nearby and wandered over to stand next to him. Beaming down at him, Kia nudged at him and asked, "So, you look like you're going to be handsome. Want to ask Taka tips for finding girls? I bet he can help you."

Elle groaned, and stared with envy at the dark space that Tiegan was in. If only she was that small right now...

There were some real problems with having Kia for an older sister.

Tiegan stared at the new one, and blinked. This voice was so different from the other two. Tiegan had to investigate. She crawled right out and up to Nyoka's face, staring at her with wide yellow eyes.

Shrugging, Elle went a bit red. "I guess Tiegan decided she'd find a dark hole to play in, so she went to find one. It was just luck that there was one for her to find."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"Hello, beautiful," Nyoka says in the same voice as before. Even if the girl had some of Taka in her, she was a charming little girl.

She did, however, hear what Kia told Damien. Taka couldn't teach him anything, her voice tells Kia in her mind. Damien is too young to think about that right now, anyway. Best leave him be.

Damien blinks and looks up into Kia's eyes. "Nyoka says Taka is ugly, and a. . . well, I am not allowed to say the word," he says, his face serious. "She said if I talk to him, I'll get a horrible disease that makes me grow extra limbs and cause my skin to break out in boils. . . ."

Nyoka snorts, trying to hold in her laughter before turning back to Tiegan. "Come here, Tiegan," she says again, pushing herself up into a sitting position. "We'll think of some fresh heck to put your mum through."

Damien's eyes turn to Elle, and he offers her a half smile. "There is no need to grow red," he says. "Mum always said babies are getting into everything. It is no one's fault, really. They are just curious, I think."

Neith-Kia
But it's fun to tease people... okay though. And Taka could, he just never did any of it to you. ...and why'd you tell him that?! Kia replied, and turned to look at Damien. "But I talk to him all the time, and I don't have anything wrong with me. So Nyoka must have meant a different Taka."

Tiegan followed, beaming brightly at Nyoka as she crawled into her lap and started to play with the fabric that she could reach. This wasn't so bad, and she wasn't all excited like Momma was.

Elle sat down and nodded. "I'm not used to babies as much, I don't know what Tie will do next. She's still cute though."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damine merely blinks his curious eyes at Kia again. "She had an explination for that. She said that you were immune to it, because you had been around him too long. But, when you first met him, turned-"

"That's enough, Damien," Nyoka says in a low voice, and Damien quiets. "Kia need not know every bad thing I have said about Taka." She then turns her attention back to Tiegan. "You like glitter? Like your mum? Should have known," she beams down at the girl. She then pokes her nose gently with the tip of a long finger.

Damien looks back at Elle. "Well, she sounds as if she always keeps things interesting," he says, glancing at the child in Nyoka's lap.

Sayuri_Nitta
Rhiannon strolled into the clinic, clad in a black tee and black jeans. She looked around and let out a gasp - Damien! It had been so long since she'd seen the boy and she had begun to believe he wasnt coming back here.
'Damien!' she called, wondering who the teenage girl with Kia was.

Neith-Kia
"Nyoka just doesn't like Taka, so she makes up stories about him." Kia gave Nyoka a look. "Taka is normal anyway, normal as any other fa'e."

Tie giggled, and attempted to poke her own nose as well. It didn't work, and she went crosseyed as she started to work on that difficult task of getting finger to nose.

Kia went to sit on the floor nearby, watching them. "She isn't as messy as she was when you last saw her."

Elle nodded. "Always, I think. I don't see her as much as mom does."

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien jumps at the sound of his name, and turns slowly. His eyes narrow in curiousity as he scans his memory. "Rhiannon," he says, inclining his head a little to her. "How have you been? Is everything . . . ah . . . better?" he asks.

Nyoka chuckles at the girl, and starts to demonstrate by poking her own nose. She then sticks her tongue out, and does a very snake-like flick with it, before winking at Kia. "Good thing she looks like you," she teases.

Damien, torn between both girls, turns back to Elle. "How has Miss. Neith been?" he asks, brows furrowed a little.

Sayuri_Nitta
'I'm pretty good actually,' and Rhiannon did look really happy.
'How are you? I've missed you.' she smiled, then remembered her manners.
'Hello Kia, hi Nyoka. Umm I'm sorry I dont know your name,' she said, addressing Elle who she didnt recognise since she had grown since the last time she had seen her.

Neith-Kia
Elle turned to see the other teenager as well. She was kind of familiar, although Elle couldn't remember any names or anything, Damien's name for her felt pretty right. So she waved, deciding that this had to Rhiannon if Damien said so. "Mom's been okay, I think." Elle answered Damien, and told Rhiannon, "Hi."

Kia grinned. "Do you think so? I mean, she has Taka's eyes and his hair when I see her." She wriggled over to sit next to Nyoka, watching them both.

Tiegan poked her tongue out back, but there was no way she could do that odd thing. So she reached up and tried to poke Nyoka's tongue and nose instead, both being within view.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"Hello, Rhiannon," Nyoka says, almost distracted, as she sticks her tongue out again. She wriggles her nose as well, just to keep Tiegan occupied. "Nah, I like think that she looks like you, and only you," Nyoka says.

"I'm glad to hear that, Elle," Damien says before he places his hands bahind his back. Rhinannon's comment earns her a smile, teeth and all. "I've missed you, too. Climbed any trees lately?" he asks, his curious eyes sparkling.

Sayuri_Nitta
'Many a tree,' she grinned back.
'Its easier now I'm older.' she flexed her toned arms.
'And I've learned a new trick as well. You want to see?' she asked, eager to share with her friend.
'Oh, oh and I have a tattoo!' she giggled. Damien had been away too long she decided.

Neith-Kia
"I don't mind that. She is very pretty. Arn't you?" Kia beamed down at Tiegan, who apparently was too busy playing with Nyoka's face.

There was a tounge Tiegan had to catch! She grabbed out at it, and ended up poking at Nyoka's cheek instead. Still a few skills needed to perfect.

Elle shrugged again and told Rhiannon, "And I'm Elle... if you haven't met me yet." She wasn't sure if her 'I've met this girl' feelings were right.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien grins again, growing at ease now that he has been around the group for a bit. "Really? I want to see the trick. And the tattoo. If that is appropriate, of course," he adds, still grinning.

"Very pretty," Nyoka says. "Now that I can properly introduce myself to you, Tiegan, I am your Aunt. Not that you can understand," she says, rubbing her cheek a moment, before sticking her tongue out yet again. Without her snakes, this little game would have to do to keep the child occupied.

Sayuri_Nitta
'Elle? Oh so sorry I didnt recognise you straight away. But you've grown since I last saw you.' she smiled.
'Oh its only on my lower back,' she turned, flipping up the bottom of her top, and tugging down her trouser waistband a touch to reveal the intricately worked design in black ink.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien studies the tattoo. "It's very nice work," he says, as though he knows all about tats. "Did it hurt? Nyoka says hers didn't, but when I asked mum about hers, they said they hurt so bad she wanted to kill the person doing them. I think she is lying, though. . . ." he says, his eyes letting on that he is far too smart to be duped by his mum.

Neith-Kia
Kia looked at the clock, and sighed. "Momma said she'd babysit Tiegan, so I have to go. I get to see a movie tonight, without a toddler. Elle?"

"I can go home myself."

"I know, but you know what Momma said..."

Elle made a face, and went to stand next to the door as Kia packed up Tie's stuff. Then Kia hugged Nyoka and Tie, picked up Tiegan and wandered to the door. "Bye!"

Elle waved to them as well, then followed reluctently.

Sayuri_Nitta
Rhiannon pulled her t-shirt down and sat down in one of the vacated seats, waving goodbye as Elle and Kia left. She took the opportunity to give Damien a warm hug, ruffling his hair at the same time.
'It hurt yeah. But not alot. Not so much as being knifed in the leg,' she poked her tongue out.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"Bye," Nyoka and Damien say, almost in unison.

Sighing, Nyoka sighs and stretches. She walks over to Damien and tugs on his book sack. He hands it over, and Nyoka goes to sit in a chair, taking one of the books he had in his book bag out to read.

Damien blushes at the hug, not used to people other than family hugging him. He sits with Rhiannon, and blinks when she mentions being knifed in the leg. "Did that happen to you?" he asks, his face the picture of concern now. "You're fine, I see that, but still. . . ." he frowns a little at that.

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania slipped inside the clinic, she was rubbing her eyes and yawning. Rose popped her head out of the emo bag she was carrying. Tinania looks down a the dark red elven gown she had on and shakes her head before looking up a waving to everyone here.

Rose slipped by down inside the bag, planning to take herself a quick cat nap.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Still frowning a little, Damien waves to Tinania. "Hello, Nani," he calls to her.

Nyoka lifts an eyebrow as she looks up from the book. "Hello, Tinania," she calls in greeting before retreating back into her book.

Sayuri_Nitta
'Uh yeah,' she wasnt too sure why she had brought it up. She didnt want to worry Damien after all. She hugged him again and then let him go chuckling.
'It was a werewolf hunter. But its healing now,' she said. She blinked at the new teenager that had walked in. She was vaguely familiar as Elle had been but she didnt want to blurt out a name and be wrong. She waved back.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien blushes again, and shakes his head a moment. "Some people are just evil," he mumbles.

Shaking his head again, he says, "So, I thought you were going to show me a trick?"

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania smiles and walks over to the others. She leans down giving Damien and hug then waves to Nyoka "I didn't expect to see you two this early..." she glances to Rhiannon "Your Rhiannon right? The girl who was in the kimoni..." she cuties and smiles "Its me Tinania, we only met briefly..."

Sayuri_Nitta
'Yes I'm Rhiannon. Tinania - you are very pretty,' she smiled at the teen.
'Oh right I was! Well my dad has been teaching me to control my were-wolf transformations and I can do this at any time,' she closed her eyes and concentrated. It was getting easier the more she practiced and she swiftly found the inner 'switch' that let her change. Were ears sprouted up and through her hair, and she reached and popped the opening on her jeans that she had sewn in for when she did this. A brown furred tail spilled out and she twitched it. She giggled, flicking her pointed ears.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
"Ah. . . . I'm afraid that is my fault," Nyoka says. "I had to get up early for a meeting. I think Fauna just likes her little tortures. Anyway, it didn't last long, so I decided to drag the little prince out of the castle for a bit," she adds, still reading the book.

Damien hugs Tinania back briefly, smiling a little at her. "I was awake, anyway," he says.

EDIT: Damien watches, with no small amount of awe, as Rhiannon grows were ears and a tail. "Awesome," he mutters, reaching forward despite himself to touch her ears. Before he does, he stops, and places his hands in his lap. He remembers how uncomfortable he would get when someone touched his scales. "I wish I could do something like that," he says, watching the tail now.

Sayuri_Nitta
'You can touch them,' she chuckled, seeing how he reached forward and then darted his hands back again.
'I really dont mind,' and she wiggled her ears again, ducking her head forward a little.

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania giggles then gasps as she watches Rhiannon change "Okay and I thought doing magic was interesting. That just plain sweet...." she tilts her eyes watching the teen. She slips her hand inside her emo bag pulling out a sketch book and a pencil.

Flipping the page she does a quick sketch and smiles. "This would be a great thing to go into my recording...." she glances at Rhiannon then back down at the sketch pad.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar
Damien chuckles, and reaches forward to pet her ears. His eyes shine with the many questions he always seems to have on the tip of his tongue, but the sound of Nyoka's phone has him turning to look at her.

Looking harrassed, Nyoka takes out her cell phone, and answers in Greek. Damien frowns, knowing what that means.

Sure enough, a mildly frustrated Nyoka stuffs the phone back into her pocket and stands. "I'm sorry, short stuff. I gotta get you home," she states, really looking appologetic, both in appearance and tone, now.

Damien just nods. He looks at Rhiannon. "Maybe you can comeover one day?" he says, smiling again. "You need to see the forest, you would love it there."

Krista DarkAngel
Tinania smiles finishing up the sketch before glancing towards the clock, she frowns then nods "I must go, the book store should be open now, and I have to go pick up some books along with other items..." she bows to Rhiannon. "Maybe I will see you again, take care...."

With a smile she turns and heads back out of the clinic heading down the street toward Barton.

Sayuri_Nitta
She nodded, feeling a very peculiar sensation as he stroked her ears. It was pleasant though.
'If I was a cat I'd be purring,' she teased, then nodded as Nyoka spoke.
'I'd like that,' she replied, waving as they left. She had blushed a little at Tinania's compliment;
'Oh you draw?' she asked, curiously looking at the sketchpad, and then she chuckled.
'Ahh okay. You to.' she said, waving as Tinania left also.
