It doesn't matter. People can wear whatever the ******** they want to. Seriously. Someone can show up to a Slipknot wearing a pink tube top and a black mini skirt while wearing four inch heels and the only thing I will say to them is, "I'd suggest staying away from the pit. Just a suggestion." Why? Well one, four inch heels are hard to jump in and it just isn't comftorable. Clothing has NOTHING to do with music. Why? Because if you only listen to one genre you're pretty shallow to begin with and probably stopped reading after the first sentence. I don't have a style. Why? Because I think it's bull s**t. Seriously. And anyone who thinks they're goth? Ok. At most you're neo-goth. Or just dark emo. My own terms. Why? Because most people don't even know what the goth style is! Besides, what do you care what they dress like? Seriously, if they're supporting the same band as you what do you care if they wear Mike Shinoda DC remix shoes or uggs? Ok. Wait. I take that back. Uggs are just ******** ugly. hm........ok.........how bout high heels? Seriously, I'm running out of ideas but you get the point. As long as someone doesn't shove their beliefs or fashion tips down my throat I really don't care. Actually or if they're like 600 pounds and wearing a tube top. I don't care wear they wear it. It's just nasty.

your clothes shouldn't have to match what you listen to. i listen to almost every type of music does that mean i wear something from every genre? no i wear what i'm comfortable in. i listen to, mostly Linkin Park, then heavy metal, then rock, pop and so on. everyday i wear my normal somewhat girly clothes and all my friends and everyone else knows that a prefer this stuff over rap, though i will listen to it, and maybe sing along if i've heard it enough for it to have been drilled into my head.

the type of clothes you wear shouldn't matter at all depending on what music you listen to...you shouldn't have to declare that you like metal by wearing gothic type clothes...
Although in society today, ALOT of people wear clothes that do reflect their music taste...but that would be difficult if you liked a wide variety of music...to me personally it doesn't matter how you dress as long as you like what you're wearing...

it doesn't matter at all really. one of the people in my class thought i liked hip hop cause of the way i dressed but i dont really care for hip hop at all. it doesn't really matter what clothes you wear it's just your own style.

Seriously, you see these threads in nearly every single message board you go into and they all say the same thing. what you wear doesnt have to reflect what you listen to. Yes ok my prefered style or whatever is either punk or goth, but really i wear what i want to wear and dont care what people think about what steriotype im trying to be, i just happen to dress in clothes that i like and im not going to pretend to to like skinny leg jeans just because they seem to be the latest thing in the 'emo' or 'punk' fashion, or the pink shirts that go with it these days. Ok yes, alot of what people wear reflect about who they are, not the type of music thay listen to. for example, my friend likes to listen to Linkin Park, Slipknot, Manson but she doesnt dress all black as such, she dresses in normal clothes..
clothing is only a reflection of who you are, not what you listen to.

I don't think they should, but my clothes do anyway.
I'm coated in badges everytime I go somewhere. And a lot of the things I wear have graffitied designs. whee

As sme1 has alreadi sed i dnt fink u av to dress like ur musical influences bt if u fell like u cd b comfortalbe in their style then y nt cz it showin wt u fink n wt type of stuff u into if its chav or goth or emo or abit of anyfin like me my m8s dress sortof like chavs wen we out n i look like the odd one out cz i dress in goth/punk/emo stuff cz tht wt i am n yer smetimes they dnt get it bt tht hu i am n i representin myself n bein original

I say no because most people who dont really know me have no idea that i listen to some of the music i listen to. They just assume becasue of what i wear and who I hang out with.
